Realizing I never talked about this but I find it really fun when I have such control over a subject that I can prevent them from going under, while constantly doing stuff that would normally put them under. I call it trance edging: I will tell them that unless I explicitly give them permission to sink, they won't drop no matter what I do. Then I'll do all sorts of things that would normally drop them really easily (and pretty much every time I do this with someone, they're a subject who drops really easily for me or drops easily in general), describing their inability to drop as the subject being riiiiight on the edge of dropping, but feeling me tug them back, holding them in place. (And sometimes I go even further with the string analogy, comparing them to a puppet whose strings I'm controlling.) And when I trance edge someone, they end up wanting to drop into trance so badly, becoming extremely needy in a way I haven't ever really seen before.

A couple of times, I did this with some subjects who I've been hypnotizing for years and years and thus I had developed all sorts of ways to put them under. I went through each method I could think of, and each time, they ended up getting needier and needier for trance, wanting to drop and sink so badly for me. I would say that they had the freedom to do anything they wanted, except sinking into a deep trance for me. One subject who I did this with, Fennikal, would say to himself "yeah, this one will work" each time I went to a new method, which was really really fun!

Another subject often chants a mantra I've ingrained in her head automatically whenever I say it, or even whenever she drops for me. But when I trance edged her and I had her chant her mantra, she kept chanting automatically even though it wasn't dropping her, to the point where it looked like it had become a stim for her. It was pretty frustrating for her (in a good way) and that was extremely fun to see.

I even one time was talking to someone who told me about how easily they dropped for pretty much anyone and (even though I probably should've had a more in-depth pretalk beforehand) despite only having met her that day, I started to trance edge her for a couple of hours via just vibes and being able to read her like a book. She was kind of dropping in this light trance state, prevented from going any deeper, and she became super submissive, just wanting to sink for me. It was super duper fun and I really wanna do another session with her 'cause we didn't talk much afterwards, haha

There are other examples of me trance edging too but I can't fully remember them at the moment. I definitely wanna do it more often though ^w^

For some of my subjects, I have them tell me whenever they touch themselves thinking about me, and for one subject in particular, she’s gotten over of her shyness of talking about lewd stuff because of it, which makes me very happy.

She also sometimes sinks into trance while touching and fantasizing about me, and she touches often; she’s usually chanting a mantra when she sinks as well. It’s something I haven’t seen or heard of before and I always get delighted and find it so hot whenever it happens ^w^
