I'm shocked. What happened to my Locknation? It was the sweetest and safest community! Today I found out how many people are asking to stop the campaign to save the show because it makes them feel uncomfortable. These people in a rude way (they call us "assholes" and "idiots") demand to stop writing about saving the show. They say that our love is artificial and not real.
What's going on with you guys? Why are you so rude? No one has ever forced you to do anything! This is not an obligation! You say that you are uncomfortable because of the activity of people to save the show. But today you have made this community uncomfortable for many participants! Isn't it great that everyone can write what they want? Isn't that the point of community, that we can all feel free?
I read a lot of negativity there towards those who want to save the show, and it hurt me. I decided to leave this community (and a few members I know) because we don't feel safe anymore. It turns out that we can't write freely about saving the show because it traumatizes someone. But today I see a lot of people injured. I can't be here anymore. But it was a great happiness for me to participate in saving the show. And I hope that those people who decided to start a feud will be happy that many of us have burned out today. You have achieved your goal. I hope that now it will be more comfortable for you, despite the fact that you have brought discord into our community.
P.S. I really hope J.Stroud and CF don't see this. They are very supportive of Locknation and closely monitor our activity. They would be very sad and disappointed that this happened. Please stop hounding people supporting the show! (even if you don't put hashtags, many people see your messages with rudeness).
It seems to me that today we have done a lot of harm to all of us.

Hello to all the fans of Lockwood and co! It pains me to see several people trying to attack other fans, complaining that they have become uncomfortable on Tumblr because of the amazing company to save the show! They are angered by several posts a week with a reminder for fans to sign a petition or hashtags. They say it makes them feel obligated to something or their job.
I understand that sometimes it is very difficult to accept that the fandom is changing. It gets bigger, noisier and you don't always get what you want. The show and the books are mixed up and nothing can be done about it. I'm sorry that some fans can't accept these changes and are leaving. However, I am very concerned that some people are trying to attack other fans of the show. My heart still cries that several great writers left our fandom just because some people were angry at the way Lucy is described in fics. They demanded that Lucy be described as not beautiful and full in fics. They couldn't accept that everyone could have their own vision of Lucy. They were annoyed that some fiction writers were inspired by Ruby's appearance and demanded to separation book!Lucy and show!Lucy. It was very rude. I won't say the names, but I know you're reading this. You should know that you are disgusting. Because of you, some authors have removed their fics and accounts from ao3.
And now some people are demanding to stop writing about saving the show, because they are not comfortable with a couple of posts a week! What's wrong with you? Why are you doing this? Why do you think that only you should be comfortable? I'm not on other social networks, but Tumblr is my home. And I'm grateful that there are people who direct and coordinate other fans so that we can help save the show. Unfortunately, I am a passive fan and very rarely participate in activities. But I am grateful that there are people who can suggest or remind me what can be done for the show. And I can choose what I can, or do nothing. It's not a job or an obligation. I only do what I'm comfortable with and never do what I don't want to.
You say that we have books and the first season and we should be content with what we have. I'm very grateful that we have books and show, but I don't understand why everyone should be happy with just that? It's normal that someone is fighting for the continuation of the show, and someone refuses to fight. This happens in any fandom, and I am very sorry that someone feels uncomfortable because of this. But we are all fans and everyone has the right to express our love, even if it's just a post about a petition. If you don't like it, you can just:
1) ignore it;
2) block a user who makes you feel uncomfortable;
3) Set up Tumblr the way it suits you.
But what you CAN'T do is ask people to give up the fight or demand to stop writing about saving the show because it annoys you. No one should feel unwelcome here. Please, no one is taking books from you and we can still discuss this. We can also exist together and not interfere with each other. But if someone can't come to terms with the fact that people continue to fight for the continuation of the show, it's fine if you want to leave for a while. Unfortunately, your problem cannot be solved, and negativity will not help.
I also want to thank the people who are involved in saving the show. You are wonderful and your work is invaluable! You have achieved a lot, and I am sorry that you had to face such a misunderstanding. Please, let's keep fighting for the show! Also, if someone doesn't want to fight, that's fine! It's okay, you don't have to do this. It's not a job or anything.
Thank you all for your attention!
And have a nice day!

Save the Show
This is the official blog for organizing efforts to save Lockwood & Co as a TV show. Here you'll find resources, links to petition(s), contact information, and a group of people who believe we can and will save this show.
We're building this from the ground-up so new resources, links, and informational posts will be added constantly. Our inbox is open and we are asking for help from others who have, like us, been through this sort of thing before and have the skills and information to push this effort as far as it needs to save the show.
On behalf of us, the fandoms on twitter and other social media outlets, the book fans, the people who wanted to wait to watch until it was renewed, Joe Cornish, Jonathan Stroud, the team at Complete Fiction, the cast and crew that make such a magical show, and our Iron Trio -- Ruby, Cameron, and Ali -- please join us in raising our metaphorical rapiers and fighting back.
Join us in being just reckless enough.

I wrote a fan fic!
Stay
Rated M for Violence!
Lockwood couldn't help but smile at his team's banter. "I can drop the source down to the furnaces tomorrow. Let’s all go home and get some rest." He looked over at Lucy, and upon catching her eye, turned up his smile to his megawatt grin.
He reached to grab her hand when two loud cracks echoed through the warehouse. He watched numbly as Lucy immediately crumpled to the floor. He turned his head toward the sound and saw Leopold Winkman standing ten meters away, holding a revolver.
WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR THE EVENTS OF TEG

lucy loves lockwood's smile SO MUCH its adorable
so here's every time she admires his smile or waxes poetic about how much of an effect it has on her in the books (this will be long):
Lockwood ignited his smile; its warmth lit up the evening.
When he smiled at me, a warm light seemed to suffuse the room.
Lockwood gave me a radiant smile. […] I soon learned that when he smiled like that, it was hard not to agree with him.
He sat back and smiled - and this time it wasn't the full megawatt version, the one you obeyed despite yourself; just a warm, companionable grin.
He wore that slight half-smile he reserves for dangerous situations; the kind of smile that suggests complete command.
He grinned; it was that warm smile that made everything seem simpler, ready to click perfectly into place.
The radiance of his smile filled the room.
It was the old Lockwood smile again; the landing grew much brighter.
Then he gave us his sudden radiant grin, the one that made everything seem okay.
He flashed her his fifty-percent smile, the reassuring one.
Lockwood really smiled, then. The sudden warmth of its radiance made my misgivings seen mean and needlessly hostile. (lol)
He grinned at me; I grinned at him. A swell of joy rose in me, displacing the ache of my muscles, my burning lungs.
Lockwood smiled at me. "Thanks, Luce. Nice one." It wasn't quite the way he'd looked at me that moment during the chase, but it echoed it; warmth rushed through me.
Then he was beside us, grinning that old grin.
As I met his gaze, he smiled - and that smile was a world away from the hundred-gigawatt version you saw in the papers. It was warm but somehow hesitant, as if it hadn't been used recently. It was the smile I'd hazily imagined a hundred times; only now it was real, solid, meant just for me.
His smile broadened, carrying me with it. It became a sunnier place, that little landing.
For the first time, the old grin extended its wat fully across his face. Its radiance bathed me; that was something else that hadn't changed as all.
He smiled at me. The warm feeling was back.
Behind his gappy grin shone the old Lockwood smile, and that smile and those words together swept everything else aside. All guilt and queasiness were gone, and I was conscious of nothing other than the thrill of being there with him.
His smile made me feel a little flushed.
His smile was as bright as ever, his energy lit up the stage.
As we filed in, he turned and smiled. It was his old grin.
Lockwood's smile was wolf-like.
As he met my gaze, his smile became a grin.
Lockwood put on a fair attempt at his most gleaming smile.
Bonus: Lucy smiling at Lockwood:
That was where he always was - at the forefront of the group, standing between us and the darkness. How poised and graceful he was. His presence gave me courage, even in a place like this. I smiled at him. he couldn't see me, of course. It didn't matter.
As always, I found myself smiling after him. As always, the room felt a little darker after he'd left.
