Balanced Strength - Short Story (Preview)

Excerpt:
When I got the call, I wasn't surprised. My clientele was, how do I put it... gifted in ways the average person wasn’t. As a personal trainer, I had a niche. No, not your typical “get in shape” or “lose a few pounds” kind of stuff. I trained people with bigger needs. The kind of clients who had bodies that didn’t quite fit the standard mold.
Today was no exception. Her name was Lila, and when I first saw her in the waiting area, I had to remind myself to be professional. The first thing that caught my attention wasn’t just her beauty—black hair that fell in soft waves, striking green eyes that had a quiet intensity—but, well, her... gifts. Lila had a chest that would make even the most seasoned plastic surgeon do a double-take. And sure, I’d seen large before, but this was a whole other level. I was more than a little confused why she needed training, though. She was in great shape from what I could tell.

House Hunt
I’ve been thinking about buying a house for months now. Renting had gotten old - paper-thin walls, obnoxious neighbors, and landlords with the warmth of a glacier. I wanted something that was mine, something I could build into a home. So, I finally caved and asked my best friend, Greg, for a recommendation.
He'd just bought a place a few months ago, so I figured he might know a good realtor. What I didn’t expect was for him to give me her name with a sly grin.
"She’s amazing," he said. "Real Amazon."
I blinked. "Amazon? Like... she used to work at Amazon?"
Greg chuckled, shaking his head. "Not exactly, man. You’ll see."
That didn’t explain much, but I trusted Greg. He wouldn’t steer me wrong, at least not when it came to big things like this.
I was still scratching my head when I parked outside the real estate office and checked my phone for the name again. “Alexis North.” Simple enough. I was expecting someone efficient, maybe a former tech worker or someone from the corporate world.
I walked inside, scanning the small, modern office space, and then I saw the office with her name tag on the door.
My brain momentarily shut down.
She wasn’t just tall - she was towering, at least seven feet, with long, fiery red hair cascading down her back like molten copper. Her eyes were an otherworldly green, sharp and alive, like two emerald flames set in porcelain skin. And the outfit? A tailored blouse that dipped low enough to show just the right amount of cleavage. It was… distracting. Very distracting, but in a good way.
I could practically hear Greg laughing in my head. He knew what he was doing when he set me up with her.
I hadn't noticed her walking towards me this whole time. “You must be Michael.” Her voice was smooth, confident, with a slight tilt of amusement.
I blinked, regaining enough sense to extend my hand. “Y-yeah. You’re Alexis?”
She smiled, shaking my hand with a grip that felt both gentle and strong, her fingers warm and steady. “The one and only.”
I was still in awe of her sheer presence, but I managed to hold it together as she grabbed her tablet and led me out to her car, a sleek black SUV that looked like it was built for giants like her. The interior smelled faintly of leather and her perfume, a subtle scent that made my pulse quicken.
“So,” she said as she drove, her voice lilting with amusement, “Greg didn’t tell you much about me, did he?”
“Not really,” I admitted, laughing nervously. “He just said you were… an Amazon. I thought he meant you used to work for the company.”
She glanced over at me, lips curling into a mischievous grin. “Nope. Just an Amazon by birth.”
We both laughed, and it broke the ice, easing the tension I didn’t realize I was holding. As we started touring homes, Alexis was professional, but the playful banter between us built naturally, like we’d known each other for ages. We joked about bad wallpaper choices, the tiny closets that couldn’t possibly hold her wardrobe, and even pretended we were a couple, debating which room would be the best for “our” future dog.
The more houses we toured, the more comfortable I became with her. Alexis had this effortless charm - equal parts flirtatious and light-hearted - that made the day fly by. At one point, in a particularly cramped kitchen, she “accidentally” bumped into me, her body brushing against mine.
“Whoops,” she said, winking.
By the time we reached the final house, the tension between us had simmered into something palpable, something almost electric. The house was a cozy little place on the outskirts of town, with hardwood floors and a wraparound porch. The moment we stepped inside, Alexis closed the door behind us and leaned against it, her eyes locking onto mine with an intensity that made my breath catch.
“So, what do you think?” she asked, her voice soft, teasing. “Could you see us living here?”
I raised an eyebrow, stepping closer. “Us?”
Her smile deepened. “You know… hypothetically.”
“Hypothetically, I could see a lot of things,” I murmured, my heart racing as I closed the distance between us.
The air was thick with unspoken desire, and when she looked down at me, her green eyes darkened, daring me to make the first move. But she beat me to it.
Before I could think, her lips were on mine, soft but insistent, and I kissed her back, all logic flying out the window. Her hands tangled in my hair, pulling me closer as the kiss deepened, her body pressing against mine, curves and strength all at once. It was intoxicating.
Just as things were heating up, the sound of keys jingling at the front door shattered the moment.
We froze, wide-eyed.
“The owners!” I whispered, frantically stepping back as Alexis straightened her blouse and wiped her lipstick with the back of her hand.
We barely managed to look halfway professional by the time the door opened, and an older couple stepped in, smiling politely as they saw us. Alexis, to her credit, switched into business mode in an instant, smoothly guiding them through their questions and making small talk as if nothing had happened.
My heart was still pounding as we finally left, waving goodbye to the owners and stepping back into her car. The tension between us had shifted again, from raw desire to barely-contained laughter.
As she drove me home, the silence between us was comfortable, the weight of what had just happened hanging in the air, unspoken but understood. When we pulled up in front of my apartment, Alexis turned to me, a playful smirk tugging at her lips.
“Well,” she said, “that was… fun.”
I grinned, leaning closer. “I’d say so.”
She didn’t waste any more time. Before I could react, she leaned across the console and kissed me again, softer this time, but with just as much heat. When she pulled back, her eyes sparkled in the dim light.
“Call me when you want to do this again,” she whispered.
I nodded, barely able to find my voice. “Definitely.”
As I stepped out of the car, I watched her drive away, still feeling the warmth of her lips on mine, knowing this house-hunting experience had turned into something far more exciting than I could’ve ever expected.

The Test - Short Story (Preview)
We’d been friends from the start, but I could never seem to cross that line into something more. She was tall, confident, and stunning in ways that made me lose my breath just thinking about her. I’d convinced myself we were nothing more than roommates, two people who just happened to share a place. But every time I saw her, especially like this, dressed up and preparing to go out, the knot of jealousy twisted in my gut.
Tonight was different, though. She was going on a date. I hadn't asked about the guy, even though I wanted to. Who was he? What did he have that I didn’t? But I swallowed the bitterness and tried to focus on being the supportive friend.
Emily slipped into a tight brown shirt that clung to her curves, the fabric plunging just enough to make my throat dry. It wasn’t just the way she looked that got to me—it was the effortless way she moved, the confidence she radiated. She wasn’t just beautiful; she was magnetic. I could feel the tension in the air, pressing on my chest, making it harder to keep pretending that I didn’t care.
I cleared my throat, trying to sound casual. “Big night tonight?”

The Bartender - Short Story (Preview)
Ethan pushed open the heavy wooden door, the chime of the bell above it barely registering in his mind. It had been one of those days—no, one of those weeks—where everything felt like it was slipping out of his control. Work had been relentless, his personal life felt like a mess, and his thoughts were a storm he couldn’t escape. He had walked aimlessly through the city, not really knowing where he was going until he found himself here, standing at the entrance of a bar he’d never noticed before.
The place was dimly lit, with a warm, amber glow from the vintage sconces lining the walls. The sound of soft jazz hummed in the background, a welcome change from the chaos that had been swirling in his head all day. He took a deep breath, the scent of polished wood and faint tobacco filling his lungs, and made his way to the bar.
There, behind the counter, was the bartender. She had long, golden hair that cascaded over her shoulders, shimmering under the soft light. Her black corset hugged her figure, accentuating her curves with a touch of old-world elegance, and she moved with a kind of grace that instantly caught Ethan’s attention. He hadn’t expected to be struck by anyone tonight, but there she was, standing before him like something out of a dream.
She looked up as he approached, her eyes a striking shade of blue that seemed to pierce right through him. “Rough day?” she asked, her voice smooth and inviting, with just a hint of a smile playing on her lips.
Ethan nodded, managing a weary smile of his own. “You could say that.”
“What can I get you?” she asked, leaning forward slightly, her gaze never leaving his.
“Whiskey. Neat,” he replied, settling onto the barstool.
She nodded, turning to grab a bottle from the shelf. As she poured, he couldn’t help but notice the way she moved—confident, effortless. There was something magnetic about her, something that made him feel both at ease and slightly on edge all at once.

Friends Exploring
Tina, Cindy, and Casey had been best friends since high school. They loved going shopping together, trying on new clothes and accessories, and giggling about boys. Today, they had decided to explore a lingerie store.
As they browsed the racks of lacy bras and silky panties, Casey couldn't help but admire her friends. Tina and Cindy were both stunning, with curves in all the right places and sparkling eyes that lit up when they laughed. Casey had always secretly wanted to play with them, to touch their soft skin and feel their bodies close to hers.
And now, as they stood alone in the store, surrounded by lingerie and nothing but the sound of their own laughter, Casey's nerves started to get the best of her. What if they rejected her? What if they thought she was weird for wanting to touch them?
Just then, Tina turned to her with a mischievous grin. "Casey," she said, "I know what you're thinking. You want to touch us, don't you?"
Cindy giggled and stepped closer, taking Casey's hand. "It's okay," she said, "We want to touch you too."
And with that, they were lost in a tangle of limbs, kissing and caressing each other, their laughter giving way to moans of pleasure. They explored each other's bodies, learning what made each of them feel good, and reveling in the excitement of this new experience.
As the night drew to a close and they said their goodbyes, Casey couldn't help but feel grateful for the amazing friends she had found in Tina and Cindy. And she knew that this was just the beginning of their adventures together.
