Bayonetta’s character design 2/?

Feelin’ kinda shy, but wanted your input.

So the husband and I agree that we’re going to get a Switch at some point in the future. No, it is not just because all of Bayonetta will be available on it (though that’s a huge plus for me personally), but mainly because there are several games that are available for the Switch that we think would make the purchase a reasonable, logical one.

That’s not what I’m mainly here to talk about though. I was thinking, since I haven’t played the second one yet still (I know, sorry), and I will be playing the third one whenever that comes out, should I do a live stream or a lets play of me playing it so we can have a little bit of that bonding experience together?

Again, I have no idea when this will happen (probably sometime after Christmas I would assume), but I’m feeling honestly a bit shy about the situation. I’m not sure anyone would be interested or if this is even a thing you guys would enjoy. I’m going to play the game regardless and I know I’m going to enjoy it, it’s mostly a matter of do you guys think it would be worth sharing the experience with everyone here?

I appreciate any input you have on the situation~

Bayonetta 3: Gets announced

Bayonetta 3 got me like

Yoshesque seems to have been right - it looks like the Bayonetta in the Bayo 3 teaser doesn’t have a mole / beauty mark.

That seems to pretty significantly hint towards the alternate universe side of things - especially with Kamiya stating that the mole appeared after Bayonetta had a ‘significant experience’ - if not for the ribbons and red jewel in the watch, I’d say it was a Cereza who’d never met her future self as a child. But with all this, they’re clearly hinting at some point of divergence.

I did some more research into the meaning behind “Whittingham Fair” and it’s the SAME SONG (or at least very close) to Scarborough Fair.

Scarborough Fair goes as follows:

“Are you going to Scarborough Fair?

Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme,

Remember me to one who lives there,

For once she was a true love of mine.”

And here’s Whittingham Fair:

“Are you going to Whittingham* Fair?

Savoury, sage, rosemary and thyme,

Remember me to one who lives there,

She once was a true lover of mine.”

I’ve talked before about how the guns and music that goes along with their naming has a lot to do with the plot of the game.

Here’s what someone said about the differences between the songs:

“The text of this version (Whittington Fair) is from Songs of Northern England (Stokoe) and has the same pedigree as its better known cousin, Scarborough Fair, both originating from Child Ballad no. 2 The Elfin Knight.”

I wanted to jump on and put my two sense on this, but notice the monster bayo is fighting is clad in purple flame, who else has a purple flame??!...well Rodin when he lights his finger also is other name is called the infinite one

It’s seems a lot of people are thinking this! It looks like it should be him, but i don’t want it to be! He’s a demon but I still think of him as a good guy 😩

You know what's interesting about this bayo3 teaser is? Her guns are not Scarborough Fair. The name starts of with " whittiri..."the rest is unreadable. Which begs the question, is this an alternate time line? We know that the events of the first game play out regardless if the eyes are in existence since young balder still had been possessed by Loptr and sent to the correct time line. Meaning it all playa out in an infinite cycle. Which also asks, is Loptr aware and causes this alt time line?

This is actually a really interesting idea! I was thinking something very similar actually. I was also thinking it could be before her and Rodin started working together and the teaser is showing that this is going to, in part, maybe show the story of how they ended up working together? I mainly say this because of the old design coming back.

I really can’t wait to see what they do~!
