the anon asking "which character was most popular and least popular" shows the fundamental change in mentality of fandoms. in my experience old fandom we didn't separate yourself to fans of this character and fans of that characters, we were all in it together and found most characters fascinating from some perspective! it was mostly not about shipping, it was about mystery and horror and interesting history and hot vamps, it was not about freakin ships and it was not popularity and morality context. so asking that question is nonsensical. ofc ppl had characters that they clocked with more or liked less than others but overall it was never about individual characters. you looked at story and whole characters and their intricate web of relationships thorough the ages AS A WHOLE! they are all part of the same larger story and universe. and it was about that whole story and universe. this teams bs and ship bs annoys the sh...t out of me and has ruined fandoms in general in modern era and has only emerged in late 2000s. and it's the only thing ppl know how to to now. and yes Marius was always one of fan favorites, but that is because ppl understood all his motivations from his inhuman and immortal point of view and what ever human notions he had were formed 2000yrs ago in a very different era in human history and culture and is all completely inline with his times. ppl today can't get their head out of their own ass and step back from their modern day problematic sensibilities and see anything through a different perspective sadly. and this is why ppl like this will never truly belong to historical gothic honor genre or get these books.

Yes I get what you mean. I hasn't been in too much fandoms and even less as an active member because I was young and I was scared to interact, most of all I couldn't interact in English LOL, so I don't really know how it was inside the real fandoms but I don't think there was the same attitude there is now.

Entering TVC fandom has been a shock to me, because even if I have my favorite characters and ships, I've always been sure that this fandom was quite chill and all characters had a place and there were no ship wars. I found the total opposite, with lies and misunderstanding of the entire series 💀

To me all characters are special and their relationships among each other have a meaning to me because they fit perfectly the narrative. TVC is not about relationships but this is the only think fandom cares about nowadays and I have ti say, the show is at fault in this, because it's trying to be just about relationships (and random abuse).

It's absolutely metaphorical. Summary: AKA "I'll bring the entire cathedral if needed!"

Soundwave fosters a strong penchant for music, and so he collects every kind of existing musical instrument on earth. Acquiring those from stores, particulars and museums is an easy task, until his newest target is not as common or as portable. Soundwave knows when Enough is enough, but Megatron... not quite. He reserves the privilege to not to abide by his own rules, and when his own deeds condemn the still loyal Soundwave to share his fall in disgrace, Megatron is willing to do anything to please him.

In the interim, being fugitives requires suitable survival methods, which lead to the predictable outcomes.

In other words: post-canon. Megatron and Soundwave are abscords wanted by the Autobot government. They are forced to join a smuggler in order to thrive. Meanwhile, Megatron's new goal consists of doing anything in his hand to compensate Soundwave for his loyalty and his forced life of indignity, so he gets him in a wave of thefts of musical instruments to gift him —an activity that armonizes with their new occupation, and which causes them the predictable trouble while they try and fall to adjust to more peaceful times.

None of yall are the fic police. I DESPISE genai. I think its an insult to art, humanity, and the planet itself. But aint not a single fucking person here qualified to pick apart a strangers fic looking for a gotcha moment to make yourselves feel superior. If you think something is ai you can ask the author (most are proud of the ai use and will just tell you straight up) if they say yes you have your answer and can warn people. If they say no and you dont believe them you block and quietly keep it between you and maybe a close group of friends. Spreading misinformation is DANGEROUS. And NONE of you doing this shit are anywhere near qualified to do it.
