Little bit of a vent post but im pissed off

Me: I don't feel comfortable yet driving on the roads because i don't feel comfortable in my steering around corners or my road position

My stepdad: okay so we'll go on the small roundabout that leads to the sliggtly larger complicated roundabout that's connected to the big roundabout sound good . Yes good.

Me: *knowing im going to have a meltdown and then he's going to get frustrated at me for having a meltdown and that's going to make it worse* no?

Him: we're doing that.

Like wow great thanks, I haven't driven in a year and a half this seems like a surefire way to get me to want to continue im sure...

Okay so reading Oscar Wilde 'A poet can survive anything but a misprint' from Penguin Archives (primarily bc I love Oscar Wilde but also a little because of rqg wilde hehe) and I really think that one of the lines here was definitely said abt Bertie in Wilde's (rqg) report:

"There is always more brass than brains in an aristocracy"

I imagine it could have gone something like 'There is always more brass than brains in an aristocracy, and my vistations with Sir Bertrand 'Bertie' MacGuffingham hold me steadfast in this view...'

may I emotionally damage you by drawing a parallel between loki and sigyn in ragnarok v and jon and martin in MAG200. theres just something about stabbing your beloved in the heart and sacrificing both them and yourself in the hope that your world will be somehow saved, or at least bought time, trying to fight gods you cannot stop

Pharmakos | 24Hermione

The first of my binds for this year's Fandom Trumps Hate event is Pharmakos by 24Hermione (@phoenixphire24)! I had a great time collaborating with Phoenix on this bind and working with yet another RQG fic. The fic has heavy ocean/nautical themes, so we went with an ocean-inspired bind. The graphics/cover details are all take from public domain artwork, and the endpapers were printed onto cardstock (my first time printing my own endpaper design! I was super happy with the quality of them).

I recently got a black and white laser printer in addition to the inket I own, and I love the crispness of the text I was able to achieve with it! I feel like there's so much less bleed through the paper (something that constantly vexed me with the inkjet), and it printed in probably a quarter of the time it would have taken my inkjet to do it. And I can still do color typesets--I just printed the black text using the laser printer, then printed the color accents separately using the inkjet! Excited to experiment with toner-reactive foil as well once I have the money to get a laminator.

Overall, I'm pleased with how this bind turned out--I really like the old classic book feel to this one, and the silver foil on the cover really shines in person!

Hey! Thanks for this and as always, a glorious celebration! I would say though I mostly remember all the Player Characters as horrendous little gremlins who's sole job was to ruin everything beautiful I made for them. Some of these depictions look almost... wholesome... from a certain point of view... Good job all and apols for taking a while to respond. It's been a busy old time for me recently!

there's something so raw and soul crushing about spending your late childhood+teen years suicidal then growing up and actually wanting to live, after an ungodly effort, only to see your health deteriorate because of chronic illness.

as a severely mentally ill 14 year old, I remember thinking “the medical system would treat me better if I was physically ill and not mentally ill” and then I coincidentally developed multiple chronic illnesses and found out that actually they dgaf even when you’re essentially bedridden
