Please enjoy my very old fanart (that I totally didn’t forget to post) of a couple of lesbians from the evil Yuri manga anthology series ‘Éclair: A girl’s love anthology that resonates in your heart’ it, in fact, did not resonate in my heart.

(seriously though it’s not worth it don’t buy it I only bought it because I heard it was bad and wanted to see,, it was)

Reason for fanart was I wanted to rewrite the characters and make the Yuri less bland and toxic and more fun and interesting and the first one I did was “Human Emotion” which was a very dehumanizing story about the girl on the right. Not a fan.

Mera Chisato’s Drunk Walk Home.

I feel like I never see Mera angst? Like anywhere? Although I’ve also seen a fair amount of Mera slander which is inexcusable and punishable by death.

I imagine that Mera (aged up here) after working to help her family for the entirety of her high school career getting to her twenties and kinda just feeling stagnant and hopeless, probably having barely crawled her way to passing grades with how constantly busy she was dealing with more important things. I really just relate Drunk Walk Home by Mitski to Mera with its themes of resentment towards capitalism and that whole system as well as sexualizing oneself to feel desirable and presentable.

Hehe imagine being a minimum wage worker working to support yourself/your family and just being devoid of life because the system has beaten you down so thoroughly that you just feel trapped.

Also, love the feeling of feeling so oily and dirty and gross from working that you think the only way to appear pretty/presentable/desirable is to sexualize yourself

MHA Costume redesigns with a wall of text because I love fashion and I always must channel my inner Akechi Touma (feel free to completely ignore all the text).

I get irrationally angry when I think about some of the hero costume designs and I thought maybe this would subside most of that anger.

I feel like some of them I kinda failed/wasn’t interesting enough, but these were all first ideas anyways so y’know.

Moral Orel (aged up Orel/Joe)

This is inspired by an aged up Orel/Joe fanfic I was reading where they mentioned a hc that Orel would love the movie Human Centipede (much to the displeasure of Clay), so of course my brain immediately jumped to red flags.

The idea/pose for this takes heavy inspiration from Red Flags by Tom Cardy (the pose is from when she’s looming over with the background also being heavily inspired by that art)

This is the ending scene when he uses the last embers of OFA to kill Shigaraki and he’s surrounded by the vestiges and says goodbye to OFA (I was sobbing)

I think of the song Arkansas Daughter, specifically the slower part around the end of the song, whenever I picture the scene where he passed out and Aizawa assumed he was dead and is yelling at Yagi that he killed his kid- ugh, it kills me.

Monoma & Toga from “Reformation” by LocalCryptid7 (I actually listened to the podfic read by Put Your Hands Up Podfics on YouTube, and did this while listening to the fic)

Monoma & Toga as best friends is genuinely one of my favourite things ever.

This is my first time doing fanart for MHA, and maybe because of that I held back a lot on the expressions, if I were to do it again, I might have them both sporting maniacal grins or something. Even if in the canon of the story Toga had simmered down a little, I still would’ve liked it if she was a little more intense and less docile in my fanart.
