With this one 🔥 Tried this a while ago and lemme tell you, this thing is STACKED for the PRICE man! BK never fails with their American & Nacho cheese sauces. The one you see here is the Monster Fish’N Chick stack (Beef option available too). The set comes with drinks of your choice and dope ass fries. Priced at RM15.90, this is worth so much more than what KFC and McD promo menu offers. Beef one is priced at RM16.90. Nasi Kukus Pok Yah (RM6) 🍗🍛 . Ever since my go-to Nasi Kukus stall halted their business due to the pandemic, this one was the alternative to that and I gotta say, it’s exceptionally good too! One of the well known ones in my residential area 👌 The rice doesn’t feel cheap or compromised. The fried chicken is exceptionally good too, well spiced but better eaten with the sambal and kuah (gravy) provided. But not as spicy as I’d like it to be. 🤷‍♂️ Decently flavoured as well. I’d give an 7/10 overall for price, taste and portion. Pretty worth it still. KFC Crispy Chicken Skin Combo (RM8) 🍗 . Big fan of crispy chicken skin!! I recall some Malaysians losing it online when KFC Indonesia had this and Malaysians wanted to really bad. Now it’s finally here under their “Snek Jimat” deal from 2-5pm. Well-coated, seasoned and not as brown as I saw from other reviewers though. Mine was pretty light in colour but still savoury and crunchy regardless. Typical KFC flavouring on this, nothing extra to talk about. I believe that chicken skin can be seasoned, baked and fried in any way according to your personal taste. It would still be flavourful! 👌 The combo came with the well known Loaded Potato Bowl. Still the best value snack / bowl from KFC. Prove me wrong Overall price & portion, I’ll give an 8/10. I like chicken skin but I’m aware of the high fat levels in it. I’m Sold, Starbucks… 🍵🧋☕️ . @zus.coffee has been around my area for a year or so and I didn’t get the chance or time to try it out until yesterday. What you see here is the 𝐈𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐉𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐦𝐚𝐢 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐚 𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞 & 𝐂𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐚 𝐌𝐨𝐜𝐡𝐚 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐩é The Cocoa Mocha Frappé is one of ZUS Signatures and MAN I WAS BLOWN. The taste of chocolate and coffee were so balanced, not only it’s 50/50, but it felt like 100+100 🤤🤤. Priced at (RM14.75), it’s a standard size. No large or regular but you’re getting the best drinking experience for what you’re paying for!!! Next is the Iced Japanese Genmai Matcha Latte. It’s safe to say, this has an authentic Matcha taste, not your bizzarely sweetened green mix. While I like matcha and liked the drink, it wasn’t particularly my favourite. I gave it for my brother instead. It’s his very first time trying out matcha and he loves it! Priced at (RM10.50), it’s really worth trying for matcha lovers!! MCD SPICY KOREAN BURGER 🇰🇷🍔🌶🐓 . Not sure this one came out last year or years ago. But yeah decided to try it out too see if any unique or spicier than the OG Spicy McChicken Deluxe. Few thoughts in mind. The patty is different. It’s neither the Spicy Deluxe or the standard McChicken patty. It’s a combo of both and it’s not bad actually. To keep the heat and flavour, I believe they’re using some spicy version of the McSauce or some new mixture of sauces. Nothing unique or screams Korea I guess as it is somewhat reminiscent to the recent Rio Burger? But yeah 🤷‍♂️ With the McDonald’s Deals, I got the set with their Sundae sides for RM15.99. Not too shabby but could be better other than just swapping patties and Charcoal Buns. My favourite KFC Zinger variant is BACK!!! 🍔🧀👌 Personally, KFC #zingercheezilla is the best burger from @kfcmalaysia . This burger is legit “built different”, with its thicker Zinger patty and the Fried Mozzarella patty as well. However, the cheese pull from this year’s one wasn’t as impressive or stretchy as it was back in 2018. Presentation has altered a bit too and again, not as good as before which was a letdown considering this thing COSTS RM17.99 A la carte. It was RM13.50 back then which is insane, beating McD’s price now. But as expected, it’s really flavourful, spiced up and filling. Next is their Cereal Cheezy Fries. One good thing about that is their cheese sauce which is still unique till today. Again, not a very good presentation but you get what you paid for. Overall I’m just gonna give a 7.5/10. Would have given higher if the presentation was better, or the mozzarella patty being served is hotter with the pull effect like before. #jisookoreanfriedchicken Combo Package 🍗🍄🥞🌶 @joythl & I checked out this new Korean Fried Chicken joint few weeks ago for dinner. Honestly, it’s basically Choo Choo Fried Chicken but with some minor tweaks. (@eve.lynnaa you were right 😂). While Joy wasn’t able to try anything out, I tried their combo meal which is blatantly similar to the other joint’s offering. What you see here is the Boneless Tenders & Fried Oyster Mushrooms combo with Kimchi Pancakes & Extra Spicy Yangnyeom sauce (these are new ones). No wow factors from this one but it’s an overall good meal. THE AMBIENCE THO, vibrant, flowery with a repeating playlist of Blackpink songs (hence, Jisoo 💕) which doesn’t interrupt the conversations during the meal. I guess this is like a “Blink-ed” up version of Choo Choo Chicken 😂 Priced at RM 15.80, it’s a good deal. I’d give an overall 7.5/10 for this one. Good execution. Though I’m not a Biryani enthusiast or whatsoever, I’ve had several varieties of Biryani from here and other places and I gotta say, it is THE BEST BIRYANI I’d ever had in Klang; Period. Had a quick dinner last night and I had their “chef’s recommended” Vegetarian Biryani. It’s not only my favourite, but it’s my whole family’s favourite too!! When you talk or think about biryani, you don’t think about vegetarian ones. But this one proves you wrong; So much of goodness and flavour every single bite! Flavourful button mushrooms added on with this Omelette Masala on the side, providing that extra pinch of spice! 💥 They have been really consistent with their service and food output. Originally located at Landmark Bukit Tinggi, now moved to one of the units opposite of AEON Mall Bukit Tinggi Klang (the block behind Spade’s Burger) . I’d recommend anyone here to try out their Biryanis if you’re dropping nearby here!! Overall I’d give a 9/10! I discovered @bay6burger from @till4 ‘s TikTok videos as well as articles featuring them as the family has been affected by the pandemic last year, which gave them a new opportunity to start a small business right at their home! 🏡 Bay 6 is not your typical experimental joe but classic + “ba-sics” homemade gourmet burgers, nothing extra; Located at Kota Kemuning. KK has been my second home and why not support a local homegrown family business, right? Got myself this one you see above (RM13) as it is an April special. Starting off it’s bigger than your average street burger with extremely tender and juicy grilled patty along with decently favoured button mushrooms. I’d say the mushrooms and the double cheddar cheese is the highlight of this burger, although I’m still terrible at taking food pics on a correct angle 😂. Mr Zakaria (owner/father) and I spoke a little about each other and he’s one of the nicest person I’ve ever met! Very concerning and cheerful person to speak to! This Vegan Rendang is too good to be a thing!!! 🥘 Was having lunch with the fam at this Chinese vegetarian mixed rice restaurant called “Sun Sun Vegetarian” in Kuala Lumpur (apologies for no location pics). The whole fam including myself loved this thing so freaking much. It’s so creamy, aromatic and richly spiced. Every bite you take of the mock meat, the marinated flavours just burst into the mouth which keeps you wanting more... 😋👌 I still can’t believe that this isn’t coming from a Malay restaurant (or it could be prepared by a Malay 🤷‍♂️) but the rendang was so SO GOOD, in fact better than the actual meat rendang I’ve ever eaten!! M’ LABOORI NYONYA CURRY NOODLES (VEGETARIAN) 🍜🥬 . @nicoleblux @ I dropped by at this vegetarian cafe with a mini library called @m.laboori , which is a sibling restaurant to @murnidiscovery ; Located at SS2 PJ!! This one I picked over here is filled with generous amount of fried tofu, mock chicken and other good stuff with curry mee. Well spiced, creamy and slurp-worthy. Well priced too. RM 9.90! 🔥👌. They also serve Masala Chai / Tea and the aroma was promising for sure. Honestly really surprised by the concept introduced by Murni since they’re neither a vegetarian based or cafe based restaurant to begin with. But it is a very good execution of Malaysian vegetarian fusion food with their signature portion and pricing. The ambience of the place easily appeals any productive clan who wanna chill in a decent space with good food.
