LadyPool is a tall and curvy bisexual femme, LadyWolvie is a short butch lesbian.
I had to make this sapphic because the world is better when it's full of lovely sapphic femmes and thems. 👀

Daphne - oil painting on gessoed MDF board - 11x16" 2022
Tumblr media
I've had to delete many of my posts on Instagram to be discoverable again. So here's this painting but UNCENSORED on Tumblr and well photographed. I guess you Tumblr people win!
Did you know I have loads of prints - and many more to come - all with free shipping in the UK? See links in my bio! 🥰

She wears the tears of her haters as jewellery

🔴 Jewels - watercolour and Polychromos pencils on mixed media Hanemühle paper*
⚠️ Prints are available in my shop - except that my shop is closed for the end of year holidays, so you'll have to wait for it to reopen 😅
Here's another painting I didn't get to post here. It's a bit outdated since I did that in 2020 right in the midst of the pppppandemmmmic and went back to being angst and not drawing at all right after. I really like it nonetheless. I don't know why, but it's one of my favourite things I ever made - even though I wasn't drawing much before and after I made it.
What's a good painting???? I don't know. What's a painting that I've made and that I love??? Even more mysterious.

Hiya Tumblr, how are you feeling today?
Tumblr media
Turns out boobies are back here; people are coming back too, and both Twitter and Instagram are dying out of being run by late-stage capitalism idiots.
I will be posting here things that I already shared at some point on Instagram, so if you've already seen those, I'm sorry. Don't worry; new content will be back soon, too.
But something tells me most of you haven't seen my art simply because my reach on Instagram is - like everyone else's - absolutely ridiculous.
So please meet 'Turmoil', a quick painting I made in 2020, just before falling into a Lockdown induced depression/art block. It represents someone trying to overcome the bad things in life, showing their raw naked self.
Hope you'll like it, and all the future things I'll share.
Man........I missed Tumblr and I didn't even realise how much.

"Inside" - oil painting on MDF board - 22×42cm I've finished it! I have officially finished my first real oil painting, and I learned so much doing it, loved so much the process, and discovered so much about my artistic process that all I want now is to start many new ones! A better image of it, done by a professional photographer, will be done soon, so that I can offer you prints of this big baby of mine. I hope you'll like it, and wish me luck on the next one(s). ❤❤❤ . . . . . . . . . . . . #oilpainting #winsorandnewton #watersoluble #oilonboard #darkart #darksurrealism #strangeart #surrealart #fantasyart #womeninart #gothart #fineart #illustration #originalart #traditionalart #lgbtqartist #disabledartist #autisticartist #ukartist #beautifulbizarre #artistsoninstagram (at Nottingham, United Kingdom) https://www.instagram.com/p/B8wwuQVnP5w/?igshid=yvf2q4vtfewu

"Not Me" - concept for a future painting, part of a series on teenagers and their liminal experience. Based on the image and the title, what do you think this concept is about ? Do you have experiences from your adolescence that could be illustrated by this? Ps. Love you all for the brilliant comments and insights you bring to my art. . . . . . . . . . . #concept #teenagebelike #adolescencebelike #series #sketchbook #practice #darkart #darksurrealism #strangeart #surrealart #fantasyart #womeninart #gothart #fineart #illustration #originalart #traditionalart #lgbtqartist #disabledartist #autisticartist #ukartist #beautifulbizarre (at Nottingham, United Kingdom) https://www.instagram.com/p/B8Ms7blDi0c/?igshid=qjwmcgbu2463

"Survive" I'd like to do several series of paintings with broad separate themes. One would be on mental and physical health, another on adolescence as a crucial ritualistic and liminal time, yet another one on esoteric symbols and archetypes, and finally one on queer voices. I'm also curious to know how you interpret this concept. I have a very precise idea of what it is but I don't know if it's a good thing to just give all the keys to my viewers? What's your opinion? . . . . . . . #mentalhealth #artseries #sketchbook #concept #watercolor #darkart #art #darksurrealism #strangeart #surrealart #fantasyart #womeninart #gothart #fineart #illustration #originalart #traditionalart #lgbtqartist #disabledartist #autisticartist #ukartist #beautifulbizarre (at Nottingham, United Kingdom) https://www.instagram.com/p/B7omryxjhWM/?igshid=9b5j0xnlst4j

Social Imagination - I haven’t done any illustration autism related in a while, but because I have again and again, during the winter holidays, experienced the difficulties of having poor social imagination, I figured it was a good way to get back.
Social imagination is - essentially - the ability to put yourself in someone else’s shoes. It is often wrongly assumed that autistic people don’t have empathy, when it couldn’t be further from reality!
What happens instead is that we fail to understand what others are feeling in a certain situation, because we spontaneously assume people always feel, see, think, know what we feel, see, think, know. The reality of individual experience is extremely hard to grasp for autistic children, and can still be difficult for some autistic adults, despite being reminded times and again of it.
If an autistic person seems to lack understanding of your situation, try explaining what you feel instead of lashing out. I promise you, chances are that’s all they’re asking for! With calm and clear explanations, we perfectly understand what others are going through, and we’ll prouve to be supportive or even caring, as much as could be. ❤❤❤

May the new year be better than the last.
I’m sorry everyone for having been away for such a long time. I needed to recover from my burnout of last spring on my own a little bit. My physical health is still really crappy, but I have to learn to accept that it won’t get better quickly given my condition.
I’ll try to be back here more often because I need to do art regularly to function correctly, and I love sharing my creations with you all.
Hope you’ve had a nice time if you were celebrating something in December. See you all soon. ❤

#inktoberday20 and #inktoberday27 Modern Hecate and her symbol (last image). . I must say that I really like this goth modern Greek goddess/woman and the very symmetric symbol I drew for her. . Hope you’ll like them too. We just have a few days and a few more pretty goddesses to go now…

#inktoberday19 and #inktoberday26 Modern Brigid and her symbol (last image). . I quite like this young and very modern dressed goddess Brigid. I used to draw a lot of “modern” clothes in the past, especially jeans for some reason, and found that very pleasant. In the past years I have been more drawn towards drawing naked women 😈 or gothic/fantasy clothes somehow. But drawing this I’m reminded of how much I also enjoy drawing regular clothes! Hum….. . Clothes are something more to explore.

#inktoberday18 and #inktoberday25 Modern Isis and her symbol (last image). . For this one, I mixed several pictures of modern Egyptian women from different ethnic and cultural background. She also has a tattoo of the wings goddess Isis is often paired with in ancient Egyptian frescoes. . I must say that the symbol on the last image is actually my favourite part for some reason. I find it oddly satisfying.

#inktoberday24 and #inktoberday17 Modern Tanit (1st images) and her symbol (final image). . Hi all! I have decided to do the day’s goddess and her symbol for each of the last days of the challenge, so that I’ll have my 31 drawings at the end. Wish me luck! . Also, I again drew a mature Spanish lady for this Tanit, for obvious reasons. Hope you like her. 💗

#inktoberday16 Lilith’s face - knowing our worth and listening to ourselves against all odds. . I haven’t been able to art for a while because my body, many other artists have actually been in the same position during Inktober, and that’s perfectly ok. Take care all, and do art if you can.
