My only gripe with season five of Malevolent is that we haven't seen Arthur do proper medieval stuff (besides getting the plague apparently) yet. He has a sword and a chest plate I want him to have a duel! I wanted him to pretend to be a prince longer! I adored the murder mystery tho I can't complain.

I like giving Celia unnaturally purplish eyes because in my art I started associating purple with the stranger and she is marked MARKED by the stranger. Not only she doesn't have her name, she probably doesn't have her original face either. Like I'm willing to bet she is not Lynne at all it's just the face that landed on her. She's got the potential to become a stranger avatar (please dont❤️). And and and! Her last name is RIPLEY. Like in ALIEN. Jack is definitely not a fully human baby 😬. Anyway I love Celia (my Alejandría genesis queen ☝️🤓)I hope her and Alice become besties this season and I hope the fallout/reveal about what really happened to Sam rips out my heart along with Alice's. Georgie and Melanie in the apocalypse. I was going to say, my favourite cult leaders. But remembered that Harrow from tlt exists. I love that the surving & least tragic pairing from TMA is a couple of two gay influencer ghost hunters that actually go to therapy (in a drama tragedy horror story no less), that are immune to the eye paranoia fear god that is torturing everybody else (?(?) and that regularly sneak off from the cult they lead to be together in peace in the middle of the apocalypse. No one is doing it like them.

I don't like how their faces turned out oops. Also I'm pretty sure I made Melanie's cane too long

Personalmente me imagino a Melanie amenazando a Jon con el cuchillo durante la escena de MAG102 cuando Jon evita que Melanie mate a Elias. Poniéndole el chuchillo en el cuello y eso. Pero me dio flojera dibujar a Jon en este dibujo así que no lo hice Jaj.

Muchas veces lo que más me inspira a dibujar es poder asociar un personaje determinado al que amo a una canción determinada que amo. En este caso, no podía sacarme de la cabeza la idea de Melanie con la letra de Take me to war de the crane wives :3

Este dibujo lo hice en un momento en que no estaba muy inspirada y por lo tanto espero que sepan disculpar que el shading y las proporciones sean incluso peores que de costumbre (no tiene cráneo básicamente Melanie acá lol)

Also la pose es rara pero se supone que se está apoyando con el brazo en una baranda atrás, hay que usar un poco de imaginación.

I originally had "designed" Alice to have glorious long red hair -sort of like chappel roan - but then I cut my hair to a 80s style curly cut with bangs and I have to give Alice the same treatment to cope.

they are so girl so confusing by charlixcx and so once more to see you by Mitski and so I'm just your problem by Marceline and so glinda /elphaba (in a way) but other than that I am having trouble relating them to songs so I couldn't make a dyhard playlist when I tried to. I hope their future development/character arcs help me come up with more songs so I can make that playlist.

In whichever case the creepy yellow eyes just WORK).

only similitude between Harrow and Arthur might be the parent trauma. And the ghost/demon/possession shenanigans (they both get possessed every five minutes it's so... Funny? Sad?? Funny?). And the sword/chest plate/ knight aesthetic (Arthur just got a rapier like an episode ago!!!!)..... And the religion/god/faith issues. But still. I got obsessed with this idea and I had to draw it. You can pry this concept from my cold dead hands... If anyone GETS it please let me know, otherwise I'll just feel like I'm losing my mind......... Okay bye....
