I’ll Be Talking More About My Actual Shifting Experiences
Well, I already have, but I’d regard those more as ‘manifestation’ experiences. I like to use the word manifestation to describe more common shifts—things that aren’t too different from our past reality but still qualify as both a shift and a manifestation.
For example, breathing and walking are shifts in reality, but they’re so ingrained that I wouldn’t even call them manifestations.
However, ‘shifts’ like getting out of jury duty, extending a deadline, randomly getting bought an Uber at a bus stop, or receiving a higher pay rate after already being told it was capped—those are things I’d classify as manifestations.
I use the term shifting for way more dramatic changes. For example, shifting into a timeline where Trump never existed/was never elected, xenophobia doesn’t exist, waking up in an entirely different place, bringing people back from the dead, or traveling to a universe where magic is more advanced. You know, things that would change society and reality so drastically that you couldn’t help but notice how everything is different.
Anyhow, Time for Some Shifting Storytimes.
So, I cracked the code for lucid dreaming to shifting, and now I totally get how people have been shifting accidentally. 😭
Hi, I’m Zip Yo Lip. I’ve talked about my experiences with lucid dreaming before. I’m a master lucid dreamer and master reality shifter who, up until recently, could not shift through dreams. I said I’d learn it soon, and lo and behold… I actually did end up learning how to shift through dreams!
For me, it was more about realizing, “Okay, well. Obviously, I’m dreaming, but I’m so powerful that I can easily just make this my reality and stay here for a loooong time.” Shifting like that was super trippy—it was like realizing we’re just a dream inside a dream inside a dream. Especially when you shift straight from your dream into a new reality, it makes you wonder, “Damn… was that past timeline even real? And to you, it really isn’t anymore.
But! It was at some point.
Your past reality doesn’t really exist anymore because you’re not there to experience it—you can only recall it through memories. Crazy stuff.
It was extra trippy because I’ve been lucid dreaming for so long that I got used to my symptoms. A while back, my dreams caught on to the method I was using to recognize I was dreaming, and it actually became harder for me to lucid dream. My dreams started giving me phantom senses. I remember getting stabbed in a dream once and waking up feeling the shadow of where I’d been stabbed.
The Dream That Helped Me Shift
In the dream I used to shift, I could literally feel people physically touching me. That was the spark that reminded me about shifting while I was still in that state of almost getting swept away by the dream.
Because if you don’t control your dreams, they control you—and they’ll take the flow wherever the hell they want.
When I first started lucid dreaming, I had no physical senses in my dreams. That hasn’t been the case for a long time, though—I at least have a phantom limb-like sense of touch now.
So in this dream, I felt somebody touch my shoulder. Since I was aware I was dreaming, I was shook.
“What the fuck? How are you doing that? How can I feel you? It’s not like I shifted—Oh my god, wait, I can totally shift right now! Okay… boom.”
I grounded myself completely in that dream reality. Just focusing my awareness on my physical senses was enough to shift me completely.
Tumblr media
It was a random shift, and I hadn’t planned it at all. That’s why I ended up shifting back. Also, I wanted to document the experience here.
The fact that I was able to turn my dream into reality makes me think dreams have always just been a form of getting lost in your imagination.
Looking Back on My Old Fears
Kinda sucks thinking about it like that, though, because most of my childhood dreams were nightmares. Then again, I was also incredibly paranoid and constantly convinced there was a monster in my closet out to get me. Definitely explains why. Accidentally set myself up with that one.
I suppose that was a bad way of thinking—especially for my past self, who was always imagining the worst and believing those fears had a real possibility of happening. No matter how monstrous or unlikely they seemed in this reality, my younger self still thought, "What if?"
But honestly? I’m way past the point of caring. I’m not even scared of the things I used to be scared of.
If anything, I see it as a victory.
Like, Yeah… I overcame my fear. What did you do?

Shifted yesterday.
I decided to visit a reality where I was a Harvard student. One very interesting Easter egg that I hadn’t scripted in: a fellow peer had the same last name as me in this reality. Honestly, I wasn’t surprised, since I’ve noticed my universe likes to play inside jokes with me—but that one was especially interesting to see. Like, “Oh… hello, me.” He didn’t look anything like me, though. I thought about approaching him to ask if he had any siblings, but then I got caught up in some dance club/classes.
I’m not sure why, but the first thing I do in every reality is check whether my dance skills have transferred.
Shifted back afterward.
Interesting trip.

Why I Use 'Will' Affirmations
Self-Belief: The Secret Sauce
Simple: I believe in myself more than Gojo Satoru believes in his strength.
I know that even if I complain, even if I'm dramatic 1000 times over, even if I do everything that everyone on here tells me not to, I'm still going to get my way. My self-concept is THAT powerful. She’s that girl—what more can I say? I can cry and throw a billion tantrums—so what? I’m still going to get my way.
Manifesting Through 'Will' Affirmations
When I Say "I Will"
When I say I will get something, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I’m going to get it. I mean, shit, I’m so aware of my power that I could decide I had my desires yesterday, and guess what? I’ve had my desires since yesterday.
If I said I had it yesterday, I had it yesterday. Why? Because I fucking said so. That’s literally it.
Some of y’all’s problem is simply that you don’t believe in yourselves. When I affirm “This will not be a problem by 9AM.” I know without a shadow of a doubt, that the problem will be gone before 9AM, simply because I decided I didn’t want to deal with a circumstance.
The Paradox of Self-Belief
That’s the real reason I say to take my methods with a grain of salt—what works for me may not work for you, especially if you don’t have the level of self-belief I do.
I’ve been through a lot, and I revised my past so much that it seems like my life has always been easy. But I’m the only one who lives with the original memories of a past reality that never existed.
It’s a paradox, but so what?
The best things are impossible to explain. Try explaining to someone why you love your favorite food. I bet you can’t.
You can say words like savory or delicious, but at the end of the day, whoever you’re describing it to will never fully relate—because you’re not them, and they’re not you.
Embracing Chaos
Self-Doubt as a Tool
At this point, if I doubt myself or face ‘negative’ circumstances, I might just leave them in—like adding angst and spice to my life. I embrace the chaos. I do everything I do just for the fun of it.
I already know who I am.
And you should too.

NonDuality & The 3D vs. 4D: The Same Thing?
What is NonDuality?
NonDuality is the idea that everything is interconnected. There is no real separation between anything. To break it down scientifically, what we think of as “real matter”—like physical objects that we interact with—may not be as "real" as we believe. I remember, when I was young, learning about vibrations. Everything around us vibrates at a certain frequency. I’ve always been more of a realist, needing to prove things using science, so I did my research. And yep, everything vibrates.
I recall my brother telling me: “The only reason we don’t blend in with everything around us, the only thing that differentiates us from a chair, is that we’re vibrating differently. That’s why we can’t just mold into the wall when we try to open a door.”
Fascinating, right? Although it's a heavy simplification, big props to my brother for sparking my curiosity about the scientific world. Before we continue, I urge you to take what I say with a grain of salt again. I'm not a scientist, nor am I physicist. I'm just a person with opinions who does some research, which at best is just some fancy googling when I have some free time. I'm not interested in citing my sources because I've written way too much by now and if you really want to fact check me, you're more than welcome to. I'd love for a real physicist to read my work and input their real-life textbook knowledge on what I'm saying, I feel that'd help all of us a billion. Even what I said about vibrations, I left out the part about the electromagnetic forces that cause the repulsion in objects and principles that further explain why we don't blend into chairs. I just think that stuff is too much for a simple tumblr post, and I'm just doing what I can.
Tumblr media
How Does Vibration Relate to the 3D and 4D?
If everything is One, then the 3D and 4D must also be One.
In the 3D world, we perceive space and time as separate, and we view them linearly. We move from one moment to the next, from one place to another, and we can differentiate objects. But the separation of these objects is only an illusion—a result of how our brains process and perceive reality.
Now, in the 4D (whether it’s a state of higher consciousness or an actual dimension), things begin to blend together. I believe this is why some scientists argue we’ll never fully perceive the 4D, at least not in the way we currently understand reality. From a 4D perspective, time, space, and consciousness are no longer separate.
Tumblr media
The Infinite Now
Remember when I said the only thing separating us from a wall is how we vibrate? It’s similar in the 4D—you start to realize that the past, present, and future are all happening simultaneously, in the Now. That’s the beauty of it: everything is simultaneous.
A personal note: I once had an experience while on acid (not recommending this—just sharing my personal experience). During my trip, I perceived my friend across past, present, and future timelines. I literally saw three versions of my friend. I didn’t freak out because it felt natural—more like an extension of my experience. This was before I’d heard of the Law of Assumption, so I didn’t have all the frameworks I now use to make sense of things, but it was a cool realization of how reality could bend across time.
Tumblr media
The 3D and 4D: Two Sides of the Same Coin
Back to the point: From a 4D perspective, the lines begin to blur. You realize the true power of the infinite Now. It’s not that the 4D is “better” or “more advanced” than the 3D; it’s simply an entirely different perception of the world.
NonDuality suggests that all dimensions, including the 3D and 4D, are just different ways we experience the same unified reality. There’s no “real” separation between them; they’re just layers of perception.
Think of it this way: There’s a version of you that perceives reality from a 4D perspective—the higher self, or consciousness, that isn’t limited by time and space as we understand it. This part of you reflects on memories, using imagination and intuition to connect with a deeper understanding of existence.
Then there’s the version of you experiencing life through the 3D lens—the physical body, sensing the world with needs like eating, sleeping, and yes, pooping (we keep it real).
The key idea here is that both are happening simultaneously, and neither is "better" or “more advanced” than the other. The 3D self is simply one aspect of the whole experience of being. The 4D perspective (the more expansive, timeless self) isn’t separate from the 3D; it’s just another layer of consciousness that informs and reflects upon the 3D experience.
Tumblr media
The 3D and 4D Aren’t Separate
In NonDuality, all experiences—whether 3D, 4D, or beyond—are ultimately different expressions of the same underlying consciousness. They’re not separate. They're just different modes of perceiving the same unified reality.
The 3D and 4D are two sides of the same coin. Both are experiencing reality, just in different ways. Think of it like the ocean and a lake—both are made of water. Different, yes, but fundamentally the same.
Tumblr media
The Power of NonDuality: All is One
NonDuality allows us to realize a fundamental truth: everything, everywhere, is One. The illusion of separation isn’t inherently bad, though. In fact, it’s what allows us to experience things the way we do!
Tumblr media
Remember: We are all part of the same interconnected reality. The 3D and 4D aren’t separate—they’re just different ways to experience the same infinite Now.

I didn’t have some special superpower or insane situation happen to me that lightened my fear and made me realize, especially, that I could do anything. I simply became more comfortable with the idea of taking risks and being vulnerable.
Bravery is not the absence of fear.
In the wise words of Soul Eater: “Bravery is my armor, and this is my weapon. My strength isn’t some special ability. It’s something that can beat fear. It’s bravery!”
I grew brave and daring. Sure, I was scared, but that didn’t matter. My heart was bigger than my fear. My joy, my desires, my love—they mattered more to me than any fear. I wouldn’t let anything stop me, not even if I was shaking, not even if everything in my body was telling me, “No! Take the safe route! Go back to your old ways; it’s familiar there!” Familiar doesn’t always mean safe. No, I had to push myself beyond my limits to discover what I was really made of. It was worth it. I did it all for me. Not to prove myself or my worth, but simply to make myself happy. It was especially a tribute to the young me who had always believed in the unknown. It was an honor to live out what the past me could only dream of.
So yes, shifting can be scary to think about, especially if you’re planning to go somewhere crazy like Attack on Titan (a big shoutout to those of you who venture just to beat stuff up). But the fear doesn’t have to be the biggest part of your experience. Your love for yourself has always been your biggest driving force. It’s why we live, it’s why we do. Love. Your love for family, for your significant other, even in other realities, we do this from love.
What is more beautiful than traveling the space-time continuum just to see a beloved face? Shifting just to see your dog, shifting just to go to that small coffee shop with the best bagels in the universe, it’s all about love—for anything and anyone.
Tumblr media
Vulnerability is scary, but pure. In it you can find bravery.

Remember, time does not actually exist, so
"I will have a burger." and "I already have a burger." are the same.
Why is time not real? In what sense is it not real? And why does that make a difference in our affirmation?
Here's why:
Time, as we understand it, is only a perception. It's a framework that enables us to place events in a way that makes sense in this existence, but it's not an absolute, universal force.
1. Time is Relative
Science already tells us that time isn't absolute. It distorts with gravity, speed, and perspective (think time dilation in relativity). If time can stretch and condense, then it's not an objective reality—it's something that changes depending on where and how you are.
2. Time is a Mental Framework
We split time into seconds, minutes, and years, but that's only a human construct. In reality, all moments exist at once—what we consider past, present, and future are just different angles of the same infinite Now.
3. Shifting Proves Time's Flexibility
When we shift, we can be in a DR for a year, while only a few minutes pass here. Some shifters have even returned before they originally left. That alone proves that time is not absolute—it is relative to the nature of the reality you're in.
How Does This Affect Our Affirmations?
Since time isn't real, any affirmation based on time is merely a way to frame your own perception of reality. That means:
"I am always in my DR."
"I shift immediately."
These both convey the same message because your awareness isn't restricted by linear time—it simply goes to the perspective that aligns with your intention.
So don't think: ❌ "How long will it take?"
Think instead: ✅ "Where do I want my awareness to be?"
Because in an infinite reality, you're already there. 🚀

! Suuuch a good way to put it.
It's so important to feel fulfilled through imagination. Neville Goddard's teachings stress the idea of feeling as an important component of why we get our manifestations. Squidward is struggling not because he can't comprehend it, but because he refuses to engage in something he deems 'childish.' You better damn well imagine your desired Ferrari vrooming and revving in your hands and let yourself feel happy about driving your dream car.
Don't get caught up in stupid things like feeling you're too grown to be imagining. Who tricked you into thinking adults can't have fun? That’s not real adulting. Real adults know how to enjoy the magic of life without getting bogged down by societal expectations. Can't enjoy yourself without feeling like you need to put active effort and be productive in the 3D, huh? Since when was the law of assumption something that relied on logic? Newsflash—it doesn't! There are adults in the shifting community as well. They should inspire us; we are not ashamed to have them. They're total legends, and we look up to them as experienced mentors.
Listen, don't be like Squidward. Entertain your imagination. Try reading a book and let yourself sink into the imagery. Feel with your characters, cry with them, laugh with them. Maybe it'll help you do the same for yourself.
Why not play? Why not dream? Why not feel everything to the fullest? It’s how we create the magic in our lives. So yes—embrace imagination, let it take you places, and don’t let anyone convince you that there’s a time limit on fun. You deserve to feel it all, no matter your age!
Y'all
I just realized that SpongeBob episode about the cardboard box and imagination is literally about LOA/Shifting.
SpongeBob and Patrick live in their imaginations in the box and it is so viscerally real that sounds and movements of their box world can be heard by Squidward from the outside. He can hear animal cries, explosions, things that clearly weren't being faked, but when he opens the box, he just sees his idiot neighbors sitting there. Squidward gets desperate to join this world but just sees a dumb little box. Eventually, he sneaks into the box after SpongeBob and Patrick have gone home and tries to recreate the intensity. He's unable to as he's not actually convinced of any of it being real or magical or whatever and gives up. SpongeBob and Patrick on the other hand easily get into the right mindset tho. And even they're like "It's literally just using ur imagination".
Am I looking too deep into this? Maybe. Am I gonna pretend to be SpongeBob now whenever a meditation asks me to use an energy conversion box? Absolutely.

Once again, I urge you not to get caught in a wave of perfectionism. Affirmations are not to be taken too literally if they do more harm than good. If you can’t understand why you already have something and it’s causing you unnecessary doubts, simply say you will get it. It has the same effect. Remember, time isn’t actually real, so both of those affirmations mean the same thing.

Learning About the 4 Dimensions We Live In
Tumblr media
What Are the Four Dimensions?
When we claim to live in a 3-dimensional universe, we're talking about the spatial dimensions—length, width, and height. These allow us to move up, down, left, and right.
These are not the only dimensions we live in. We also have a temporal dimension—time.
So, technically, we live and experience four dimensions because time adds that fourth dimension to our experience beyond and above movement in space.
Tumblr media
Why Should Reality Shifters Learn About It?
Understanding the four dimensions can shed light on what shifting is. We're not just traveling through space when we shift; we're also traveling through different timelines, having different experiences of time in multiple realities.
Understanding how the dimensions work teaches us more about the process and can possibly help in smoother shifts, as we can utilize spatial as well as temporal perception when traveling from world to world.
How Can This Help You?
I'll give you an example of where this might be useful, but before I do,
Tumblr media
A Quick Thought:
This actually might help you a lot more than you think. I've heard of people "stealing" (success) stories of others' manifestation/reality shifting.
By stealing, I mean pretending that it was their own success story.
Even though what I'm about to share with you is merely an example... Hey, if it works, it works.
You are me, and I am you, right?
A Possible Experience of a Well-Traveled Reality Shifter
Imagine this:
You travel from world to world, living different lives in different eras. Retaining all those memories of such variety, it might get increasingly difficult to articulate your experiences.
Especially if you decided to live in the 1800s for 5 years but then decided to live in 3012 for 10 years.
Then?
How do you think you would begin to describe your experiences?
Would you continue to use the societal concept of time? Or would you be forced to invent something new?
How Shifters Have Already Adapted to Time Differences
The community actually already has, in a way.
By labeling your different realities as different things—one your Twilight DR, the other your Batman DR.
But then, how would you make sense of your own timeline?
You’d say something like:
"Yeah, I spent 16 years in X DR, then 6 months in Y DR, then 3 years in Z DR."
Tumblr media
Final Thoughts: Why This Matters
I made this post to highlight how time works especially different for us. I feel like there's a better way for us to explain our lives as reality shifters given our experiences. I'm thinking of something like beginning to view our stories similarly to how we view a protagonist in a book. It wouldn't be too far off given the affirmations I've seen people use for their self-concept but perhaps we need to take it further. I'm especially thinking about this in terms of experience-based tracking that resembles levels in a video games or arcs in a book.
I think it's worth it to do your research. Understanding time as the fourth dimension can deepen your grasp of shifting, help you track your experiences, and even allow for more control over your travels.
So, how do you perceive time across realities? 🌀

on intrusive thoughts: no, they don’t and never have affected your manifestations.
personally helps me affirm things like “negativity doesn’t affect me. negative thoughts don’t exist. doubts don't exist. doubts don't affect me. wavering? never heard of her.” anything to remind me that those thoughts have nothing to do with me. after all, we are not our thoughts, we are the awareness that sits behind them. thoughts merely pass through our vessel and we have the divine ability to select which ones we want to keep and entertain.
its even okay to entertain ‘bad’ thoughts as long as you’re aware that they have no power over you, otherwise you might send yourself into a spiral of horrible what ifs. if you’re that type of person, i recommend just doing what i originally said and affirming that negativity doesn’t affect you or your manifestations and moving on with your life.
you know yourself better than i do so, choose what will work best for you. don’t self sabotage and do shit you know will stress you out. you deserve better than that. you deserve a peaceful life and a peaceful mind.
i’m just a person that likes to explore what most of us don’t want to.
i truly apologize if something similar has been asked before but i heavily struggle with intrusive thoughts, and i am honestly worried that i'll unintentionally manifest them. i keep dwelling on something that i don't want to happen ( incase this helps -- i have ocd. i really struggle with persistent & reoccurring thoughts. ) & i'm looking for some advice. i do try to take a deep breaths & tell myself that i only manifest what i desire yet the thoughts still keep popping up and due to the repetition i do worry that they might happen regardless. are there any ways to help with this?
intrusive thoughts are just that: intrusive. they don’t reflect you, your desires, or your power to manifest. repetition doesn’t equal reality. they're meaningless unless you engage with them
what helps? disengagement. notice the thought, label it (“oh, it’s just my brain being dramatic again”), and move on.
distraction works too. shift focus, do something sensory (cold water, movement, music). and remember, you only manifest what you put energy into with intent. intrusive thoughts ≠ intent xx

while i do agree with the sentiment that robot affirming feels soulless, this is more of a personal note (on both of our perspectives). affirmations work because they work. whatever you affirm, regardless of whether you strongly feel about what you’re saying, is true. it might feel like you’re pretending but that doesn’t change how true it is. it’s just like a case of impostor syndrome. if you constantly think in your mind “i’m a genius,” everyone around you will reflect that thought. if you act in conversation as if you were not a genius while still maintaining that affirmation, people will just think you’re not aware of how smart you are if anything. it’s like how beautiful people can still be insecure. all of us can visibly see just how stunning and jaw dropping they are but they see themselves differently because of what they tell themselves in their brain or their past experiences, perhaps before they got to the level of beauty they’re at.
what do u think of robotic affirmations??
robotic affirmations are like plastic-wrapped gas station sandwiches. technically food, technically fuel, technically doing what they’re supposed to do, but also? vaguely soulless. functional but not nourishing. there’s something about them that makes me feel like i’m being coached by a malfunctioning gps, all stiff syntax and no real conviction. "you are strong. you are capable. you are worthy." okay, sure, but do you even believe that, or are we both just pretending?
one little "everything works for me" is good enough. at least for me.
but, (and here’s where i throw myself under the bus) sometimes, the repetition works. sometimes, even the most tinny, lifeless "i am enough" loops in your brain. sometimes, saying it over and over, even in the most artificial, detached way, tricks something in you into believing it. because the brain is kind of dumb. it just wants input. so if the choice is silence or robotic affirmations, i’d pick the affirmations.
they work, but only if you let them be yours. otherwise, it’s just ai-generated soup for the soul, and who wants that?

Consistency is not having 100% every single attempt, consistency is giving all you got every single attempt. Some days you might have 0.0001% to give. That’s okay! That doesn’t mean you won’t be successful. Consistency, success, healing, none of these processes are linear how we think they are.

Give it your best shot, that’s the most anyone can do. Maybe yesterday wasn’t your best day. That’s fine. At least you showed up. That’s the only thing we can ask of you.

Why Do We Consider the 4th Dimension Both Time and Imagination?
This is mainly for people who want to dive into the science behind reality shifting and manifesting. We can also refer to reality shifting as making a quantum jump or quantum leap.
Maybe it’s not exactly Imagination in the way we think, but rather, everything that can happen, already is. We’re not building new worlds from scratch; we’re simply picking a point in time—a reality—where certain conditions are already true.
This is just a thought experiment, so take everything I say with a grain of salt. Pick apart what sounds right and leave the rest. I do agree with those who believe that we are the creators, the ones who make things happen. But for the sake of this theory, let’s stretch what reality-shifters generally accept and think beyond the usual boundaries. I’ve always loved thinking about this kind of stuff because, as a kid, I would ask myself questions like:
Why Do I Have the Ability to Smell, Breathe, Walk, and Talk?
The answer I got was always something like, “It’s your physiology.”
But that never really satisfied me. I wanted something more—something deeper, a purpose, a reason for being. I wanted to understand why I was born into this world.
We often say that because we are always shifting, we don’t have an original reality, and I agree with that. But I also can’t help but wonder: What was there before this reality? Did I shift here and decide not to remember anything from my past life? Why did my soul choose this world, out of all the possibilities? Why wasn’t I born a Martian on Mars, for example? In the end, I have no clue if it’s fate, karma, or luck. Maybe I needed to learn something important before reaching my full potential. The point is, there’s a reality where all of these things are true, and they only impact me if I let them. Who knows unless they know?
It’s a bit strange though, isn’t it? You can’t prove you weren’t Superman in your past life, but you can decide you were—and just like that, you are.
The Real Subject: The 4th Dimension
But, anyway, let’s get back on track. The real topic here is the 4th Dimension. I’ve always known we live in the 4th dimension, even though I couldn’t explain it properly for the longest time. It’s not some abstract concept to me—it’s always been a part of how I see reality. I recently stumbled upon ultrasound images and it inspired me to make this post. I never really paid much attention to pregnancy, and at this stage in life, I’m more about partying than raising kids (which definitely doesn’t fit with today’s economy). So, I had never seen a 4D ultrasound before.
What really caught my attention was that with a 4D ultrasound, you can see the baby moving over time. I looked into 4D printing and found that it's becoming common to create models that show how things will evolve. At first, I was just surprised, but then I started to realize something even bigger.
Tumblr media
What This Means: The 4th Dimension
These 4D models are kind of like any other simulation. The difference? You can see movement. Physicists agree that we live in and perceive at least 3 dimensions. Some even argue that we’ll never fully experience the 4th dimension because our brains can’t process it, and we wouldn’t know how to interpret it. But we call time the 4th Dimension, which is the dimension of experience (our temporal dimension)—while the first three are spatial dimensions (length, width, height). The spatial dimensions give us direction (up, down, left, right), and the time dimension helps us understand things like rust and mold, which build up over time.
Tumblr media
Why Time and Imagination Are Connected to the 4th Dimension
So why do we refer to the 4th dimension as both Time and Imagination?
When it comes to reality shifting, we’re talking about a dimension that shapes both our experience of time (the sequence of events) and how we perceive possibilities, choices, and realities. This is often tied to Imagination.
In technical terms, Time is called the 4th Dimension because it’s how we experience the world as something that progresses. It’s a constant flow of change—events, growth, decay, and everything that happens in our 3D reality. Time is what gives meaning to the 3 dimensions of space and what makes our experiences happen. Without time, nothing would move forward—it’d just be one static moment.
Now, Imagination is our ability to picture things that aren’t immediately in front of us. The 4th Dimension can be seen as the space where all possible events or realities already exist—not as creations, but as pre-existing outcomes. When we shift realities, we’re not creating new worlds; we’re simply choosing from the potential possibilities that are already there. So, shifting feels connected to Imagination because we visualize the experiences we want, but they’re already rooted in the time-space continuum.
In short, the 4th Dimension as Time and Imagination shows that our experience of time also involves selecting among potential timelines. And our ability to imagine helps us move through all the endless possibilities in the 4D fabric of reality.

Why We All See Time Differently
One of the coolest things about the 4th Dimension is how each person experiences time in a unique way.
We don’t all experience time the same. Time isn’t just something that moves in a straight line. It’s also influenced by how we feel, think, and live. For some people, time flies by, while for others, it feels like it drags. Things like age, stress, happiness, and culture all play a role in how time feels. When we ask people how long a month feels, it’s not just about a number—it’s about their personal experience of time.
This shows that time is super flexible in our minds. If you're having fun or really focused on something, time might feel like it zooms by. But if you’re stuck waiting or feeling bored, an hour can feel like forever. We also relate to the past and future in different ways. Some people are always thinking about the past, while others are focused on the future. Some live in the present, feeling like time is irrelevant.

How People Map Time: Perception and Life Journey
The way people draw time can also be a reflection of how they see their life journey. How long does a month feel in the context of your entire life? Does it stretch on endlessly, or does it fly by because it’s packed with stuff?
The following image is a drawing of how someone could perceive a year (I recall these types of drawings gained virality on TikTok and thought it'd be fitting to add. Try making your own, how do you perceive a year?):

In reality shifting, this idea of time feeling different for everyone fits perfectly. If time is subjective, then shifting to new realities could feel different for each person. For example, someone might feel like a shift happens instantly, while another person might feel like it takes forever, all depending on how they experience time in that moment.

The Subjectivity of Time: A Personal Experience
Finally, the way we personally experience time shows how powerful our mind and consciousness are. What we focus on, our mood, and how we think all affect how we feel time passing. Time isn’t just an outside force—it’s something we experience inside ourselves.

Let me know what you think about this. Before writing this, I believed that we created reality, but now I’m led to believe that the only thing we’re really doing is choosing where we go. Rather than actively creating, I’ve shifted towards selecting.
Now, I feel like a navigator exploring the infinite space-time. It’s a more peaceful, freeing perspective, in my opinion.

You got what you wanted, but you lost what you had.

Transferring from reality to reality.
Your past reality no longer exists.
Once you really realize what that means, it’s not bittersweet anymore. It’s something else entirely.

During a dinner with my family one night, we were doodling with markers when my cousin showed me a doodle that she said looked like "a piece of poop." I saw it as a butterfly, and this made me realize how differently we can perceive things. This silly instance made me realize how our perceptions shape everything—how we see and move from one reality to another.
Like the doodle, it's not where we shift into that matters, but how we perceive the different versions of reality. Shifting is not limited by what we're told can be done—it's created by your perception and belief. If you believe a reality can be yours, then it's yours to experience. What is real to you is what you will build and shift into.

Debunking the Myth That You Can't Include Time in Your Affirmations
Yes, you can.
In a previous post, I shared how one of my affirmations to get out of jury duty was, 'I'll be out of here before 9 AM.' While I don't remember exactly when I left, I took a picture of the ticket they give you afterward while I was on the road, and the metadata says it was 10 AM. It’s likely that the jury duty was canceled at 9 AM behind the scenes, but the staff wasn’t informed until later. This makes sense, especially since I was supposed to be in the second group to be screened for jury selection.
Back to my point: You can manifest on a time crunch, and you can definitely include time. Why couldn’t you? Think about it. Have you ever woken up at 6 AM without an alarm just because you knew you had something important to do that morning? The night before, you were probably thinking nonstop about your plans for the next day and mentally preparing yourself.
Personally, before a big day, I think things like:
• I have to wake up early tomorrow—I can't miss this. • I hope I don't oversleep because this is pretty important. • I’ll brush my teeth, shower, and get ready super fast before heading out at 8 AM!
You get the gist? I’m mentally planning my day, even including when I feel I should leave for my plans.
When I was in high school, I would often wake up super early, even if I forgot to set an alarm. People say it’s because your body gets used to it, but that’s just another affirmation. On weekends, though? My body wasn’t waking up at 6 AM for school like it usually did. I’d take any excuse to sleep in when I could. Honestly, I was pretty annoyed when I didn’t oversleep, even without an alarm—at least then, I had a valid excuse for missing first period.
