What are some of your favourite Oshamir fics?

Ohh, I am the wrong person to ask for this.

So, here's a confession: whenever I am super deep into brain-rot fora fandom that I am actively writing fic for it, I tend to avoid reading a lot of it! This has always been the case, for me. I think it's partially because I want to make sure that my vision for the world and characters stays the way it is in my head, and it's not being influenced by other creators--as much as possible, as fandom is inherently about sharing concepts and ideas and exploring them, together.

I also have never been able to stick with reading ongoing long-fics, just out of personal preference, which also tends to mean I don't read as much as I should. Aaaand I don't tend to read a lot of AU's--absurd, on both counts, coming from me, I know.

Of the (very small!) amount of fics that I've read and kept up with, my favorites have been:

Les Rêves by @zigster-ao3 : absolutely beautifully written, just the level of prose that makes me sigh with starry-eyed admiration as I read it

by twos, by halves by @the-reylo-void : a really, really good, canon universe look at Osha and Qimir's relationship, and a little glimpse into Osha's mind. Perfectly in character, really, really good.

let the rumours be true by @caiiistos (and anything else from her, too!) is my only exception to my 'no long-fic' rule, at the moment! A really fun Modern College AU, every update is a balm of fresh air getting to watch her Osha and Qimir fall in love--and be really, really, deeply horny about it, naturally.

I'm sure I am forgetting some, and I have a list of recs to catch up on that I will probably never manage to--there is so, so much good stuff out there for them, and so many truly talented writers and artists in the fandom. If you're looking for something specific, it's probably out there, and if it's not, then you should give writing it a shot!

A rainy kiss for all you lovely people. I know we're having A Time right now but this fandom has been so invigorating to me as an artist and it's full of the coolest and most talented people and I'm happy to be part of it.
