Atonement the book is very sad- well it’s too relatable- I’ve only just started and I know the story because of the movie but damn is Briony relatable.

Im writing a little thingy, thought it’d be cool to have it in a leather bound notebook, I saw a Neil Gaiman post responding to a “ask me anything” thing- I still don’t quite grasp tumblr entirely- anyways- the person was talking about how their daughter was a huge fan of Neil gaiman and when they’d taken their children to Venice she got a leather bound notebook and then the parent saw an interview where Neil said he had used a leatherbound notebook from a shop in Venice for story planning or something- anyways that spiraled me into wanting to write (hopefully a book) in a leatherbound notebook, so now I am….

Also, my friend are making an audio drama- that’s cool, thought I’d mention it, given I don’t write horror I’ve got a lot ahead of me 😀🥹 anyways

I’m going to make a statement about Mammalian Sighing Reflex because I used to be a strong SBI-DSMP fan, still SBI fan. So if you dislike DSMP in any capacity and just want to hate move away, I don’t like Dream, I was never a true fan of him, as I said SBI.

Now, any Lovejoy fans who also know Wilbur Soot or the ones like me who went through Wilbur’s music and then was there for Lovejoy’s first EP.

Mammalian Sighing Reflex is such a good album. Someone on Reddit described it in its literal sense(I believe) that Mammalian Sighing Reflex is the Reflex that makes a Mammal stop itself from drowning because it needs to stay alive. A human however can stop this from self-control. It’s our primal instinct to save ourselves and that’s what it’s about, the primal instinct to not drown yourself. I probably summarized it slightly wrong- who knows.

As I am American I did not get this first and I believe we were last… anyways

Every song matches up to the next, it’s like Abbey Road’s side B but more depressing. Honestly the whole second half of the Album just hits closer to home than the rest and it just sounds good to me anyways.

I was saying, I can like almost anything Wilbur specifically makes because I have know and heard and loved his music for years now, almost two and a half.

Also, I forgot to mention- the reflex is a panic attack in the animal to survive, it knows it’s dying and is terrified/panicked. Well, any long term(I know I’m not an OG but i have been a fan for two and a half years) Wilbur fans know he has anxiety- I forget if it’s Social or just generalized- but he has talked about having Panic attacks from a young age.

That clues in the album name as well as a decent portion of the songs’ content.

Don’t fully listen to what I’m saying because the music is flowing through my ears and I’m picking up little bits so.

I don’t know which exactly but one of the first four songs there are lyrics about being on tour or heavily suggest a band kind of perspective.

He talked about having a panic attack on stage because he’d forgotten how to play “La Jolla” and I think that’s connects again to the album name.

What I was going to say though is again, before Lovejoy was a thing so SBI DSMP or Wilbur fans are thé ones I’m speaking to now, we all know the beginning of 2021 sucked for Wilbur. In “I don’t think it will end”(very good, makes me feel seen and that’s what this album is for) he describes how he hides away, and a very popular Crimebois quote is when he had talked about how he was sleeping in till the afternoon then would just scroll aimlessly on his phone but Tommy would text him saying “come talk to me” so he’d get up and get ready. The cycle he talks about fits in with that very well to me.

Wilbur splices recordings of himself into it, I know because almost all of us who were his fans in 2020 and 2021 know about the “field video” where he talks about how he could be easily killed by a sniper and not be found for days. From that I can recognize his younger voice and I think it’s in at least two videos, Amazon Standing Lamp and Glass Chalet- I believe-.

That’s all the investigation I’m doing from subconsciously picking up lyrics, so here’s this. This is obviously not my normal content so Good Omens and Our flag means death and The Magnus Archives enjoyers I’m sorry, but the creator means a decent amount to me and now does this album.

There is a secret unlockable weapon (plastic explosives) but you need to make a complicated set of decisions (win a verbal fight against Jon) in order to obtain it.

Snow was my favorite character when I read Hunger Games. Do not yell, do not hurtle rocks of hate at me, I finally understand why. I’ve read Songbirds and Snakes and watched it.

Snow is posh and polished, he is a statue of respect and authority. That’s Jonah Magnus, that’s Gabriel(GO), that’s Stede(to a degree- Stede is not an ass), that’s Sherlock, that’s the Doctor. It’s a Poshness that only certain villains can accomplish, and most English characters are gifted with.

The backstory adds another level of respect and appreciation for Snow from me. I am not rich, and I am surrounded by rich people in the state I moved to from North Carolina(where I was raised). I went to a school where money was practically flung around, a donation to the school that wasn’t mandatory but very much suggested was almost 200 dollars. I understand Snow, not because I’m dirt poor and barely living off of my parents jobs, I understand being surrounded by people who can use money to get out of shit that deserve to face.

Snow and I also have a father that is extremely proud of his name, my father isn’t dead, neither is my mother but I understand wanting to live up to the expectations of your father. I have expectations also from my father just like snow who is expected to love up to his father’s name.

Snow doesn’t seem to quite understand to love correctly, just like me! He love bombs Lucy Gray(TO A DEGREE- SAVING SOMEONES LIFE BECAUSE YOU WANT TO IS HUMANE BUT ALSO ITS CORIOLANUS SNOW) and he is extremely possessive. Now I am not that extreme because I literally cannot find the way to love someone without completely throwing myself into Michael’s domain because I spiral(haha I’m funny).

Coriolanus is also the smartest person in his class and his makes sure that that is known, I am like that but not the smartest just pretty smart. He also helps his peers even if he despises them, and given I have Social Anxiety I am terrified to disappoint so I do that too.

Coriolanus also respects people on a level of perspective before becoming a peacemaker that’s commendable. Given the fact his father was killed and he had to SCAVENGE for food as a kid he is allowed some disrespect for the districts. He still respects them once they’re in the capital and he tries to get them an alright time, for his own sake but still.

That leads on to the fact that based on how he’s been treated for DECADES he wants to go as high as possible to help his family and to live up to his father’s name is understandable. I feel like that to a degree because I have constantly been put on high standards by my parents but also because I came from a poor town where GT was only for fourth and fifth graders and had no advanced classes and was IMMEDIATELY placed in an advanced class for math when I moved.

Anyways, all this to say, he has an inclination to make decisions for others on a whim that’ll it will help himself because he cares deeply for Tigress and his Grandma. Yknow who also acts on whims? Stede Bonnet. We love him- Ed teach, we love him too. Aziraphale??? Yes some of the fandom hate him, but I don’t. James and Sirius make A LOT of choices on whims at Hogwarts as the marauders- JONATHAN FUCKING SIMS MY GOD DONT GET ME STARTED- Trexel Geistman- woo-boy…

A Nightingale Sang in Barkley Square plays at the end of season one and season two FOR COMPLETELY DIFFERENT REASONS

season one it’s a happy thing, it’s instrumental and though it’s downbeat or- I’m not a musician so don’t quote me on this- an offbeat(I’m trying to say it sounds mellow). They’ve had such a wild ride through the season, the calmness of watching Aziraphale finish eating with Crowley watching him is nice.

Now on the other hand-

Season two Crowley practically hints at it after the fight- or the thing- or the argument- whatever you want to call it. He says, “No Nightingales” and then walks out and waits for Aziraphale- who mind you repeatedly checks if Crowley is going to come back through the window- but it doesn’t officially play until they have both chosen where they are going. Azi to heaven and Crowley to- well- who knows.

Anyways- I had to take a break because my brain said “yknow they are going to play it” but I thought my intuition was wrong and then it was right and then I started hyperventilating so- I came here to spiel.

Good omens, so I haven’t rewatched all of season one yet- but do Crowley and Aziraphale ever really touch except by the lapels?

That part at the old demonic church now turned paintball arena when Crowley FOR THE FIRST TIME grabs Aziraphale by the lapels to push him against a wall because he was called “Nice” very different circumstances between s1 and s2 shots anyways

I don’t think they touch EVER between then. Maybe to switch bodies? That’s really it, I can’t remember in season 2 if they ever did.

Anyways, if I’m wrong tell me, I think they hand eachother stuff often but they never like hug or shake hands or anything physical like that, and that’s why I wanted to make a post because what if it’s because Demons and Angels aren’t supposed to touch- but then again Gabriel and Beelzebub did touch and they didn’t disintegrate.

Also, isn’t it just the hand shake sort of thing they do- DO THEY DO THAT??? I’m remembering wrong possibly, anyways, if they do touch to change bodies I think one of them might’ve been gloved but if not that is the first time in CENTURIES they have ever touched skin on skin, I believe.

If that’s true the second time they ever touch is KISSING- 😀

Anyways, enough of me- I’m also going to add that Aziraphale fell first but Crowley fell harder

RIGHT SO IMAGINE- LIKE it’s season three times(around MAG85) and in the institute- Martins the only who was going to put up Decorations but Melanie- still new to this- decided to help. Tim watched them but only feels worse because he, Sasha, and Martin used to do that. Elias is happy because his plan is going ever so smoothly- if we make it lonelyeyes, he’s sad because Peter is STILL out on the Tundra and Simon is asking if there’ll be an institue holiday party- Jon and Georgie are setting up her apartment and making cookies when she can convince him to not focus on statements.

I might make this a fanfic but it’s an animatic idea with “Carol of the bells” by “Cathedral choir” backing it.

You could also do it for season 4, Jon is still in his coma but Georgie sets up his hospital room Cheery enough- she knows he hates it and why not annoy him?- Martin is not quite a dick yet so he and Brasira set it up as best as they can while still mourning their lost friends and old life. Melanie tears one down near her office so they stop. Elias sits in his cell looking up at the ceiling but smirking, he’s watching somebody. Peter is in Elias’ office sitting in the chair, the office isn’t as it usually is, fog clouds it and it seems awfully cold.

Anyways- I just like the ideas 😅

I might actually make the season 3 idea but post it first of December
