Today was a very productive day! Thanks to Ruby and Tom! The gas fridge is finally working and the basic solar installation is ready. We just need to buy some 12V lights. We celebrated with ice cold beer and the fridge is almost full already. Also last night Tom was singing and playing ukelele for us and we recorded it. We will edit and post it here ASAP.

Round-up of the past weeks
So the last weeks have been busy!!!聽
Pau and Lluis have been working on renovating very hard! Luckily, Camilla was there to also support us with the renewal of the roof of the small room, which will be the bedroom at some point. It even has a window in the roof to watch the stars while falling asleep. What more can you ask for? Ah yes a bed and storage for clothes... Well we realised that this room will really only be there for the essentials, so a double bed and some shelf than it has already reached its maximum capacity. Tiny-house living we are getting one step closer. Pau has also been destroying things on the inside like the open fire place and kitchen arrangements which were built in. After this there will be more space in the less smaller room and there can be a door between the small and the less smaller room. Destroying things is more tiring than you would think.
But loads of things still have to be decided upon and we get input from everyone that visits and is following the project, like buy a caravan to have a proper bathroom, kitchen inside or under the sky with just a sun and rain cover, get hydroelectricity from the pond, cut trees that could potentially fall on the house in a storm, where to put the dry toilet ans shower, can we get a gas fueled fridge, which size for the solar panel installations, where to put them and many more suggestions and questions are coming up.聽
Good news is we kind of managed to propagate the never-ending-fruit-giving lemon tree. And it is now enjoying a sunny space on the upper terrace next to the olive trees. Also super exciting, we have a water melon baby growing from the seedlings we planted in April. Pau will post a picture later.
