“Seijuro?” You knocked softly on your husband’s office door waiting patiently for his response, but getting none, which was unusual especially for him. You stood there for another minute or so, before coming into the freshly cleaned room with dark, green walls and citrus scentsomwhere in the airborne.

Your eyes carefully looked around, spotting Akashi’s stiff figure in seconds. His fingers were harshly massaging pale temples, dark circles under hsi eyes were informing you that he did not get any sleep last night and his eyebrows were furrowed so hard, that you were scared his forehead was going to explode.

You didn’t like this sight at all. Not only was that heartbreaking for you, but also it was theone of those times you saw such strong and determinated man so fragile and broken thanks to never finished responsibilities. Akashi didn’t greet you and you were almost sure he wasn’t aware of your presence at that moment.

Your heart was ready to destroy your chest at any moment, beating so loudly it hurt your ears. Some bad memories from your past made their apperance in your mind, showing you how weak and pathetic you were. However, Akashi was always there with you, giving you what no one else could. His helps was one of the reasons you were still alive and well. You couldn’t just leave him be right now.

You took a shaky step forward and then another and the next thing you were doing was hugging him tightly against your chest. Your lips kissed his head as your hand petted his back, showing him your full support and gratitude.

He was surpised and of course, didn’t react at first, but when he acknowlegned what you were doing, his arms hugged you back. Quiet sob left his throat, when his face pressed into the crock of your neck.

Sometimes it was just too much for him. He was intelligent, clever and a hard-working person, some would say that he didn’t have a soul nor a heart. But you knew better, you knew that he wasn’t flawless and work wasn’t the most important for him. You were aware of the fact that he did posses emotions and the warmest ones were directed only to you.

You also knew you loved him very much.

And he knew it, too.
