I notice the symbol on Hurri's basketball jersey is different from the one on Accel's cheerleader outfit. Is there a rivalry between their universities? Does Accel's basketball team have their own star athlete, or is she effectively rooting for a ragtag underdog squad?

Been a while since I received an ask about my OCs, thank you for the inquiry!

The significance for the symbol on Hurri's basketball jersey primarily has more to do with the sources that inspired her design (Space Jam/Looney Tunes/Warner Bros.). Admittedly, the characters I design tend to be unrelated/standalone concepts more often than not; with connections/relationships to other characters coming after the fact. I do think I've started to improve on this a bit, all of my most recent OCs (Pancake, Macaw, Renley, Sheriff Rosetta) relate back towards my outlaw OC Peyote.

It's definitely a good angle to consider, the idea of Hurri serving as a rival for Accel was something I considered with the last anon ask. I do think that Accel herself would be willing to play against Hurri--not so much in that she's be exceptional at basketball or be truly dedicated to taking Hurri down a peg (which would be a tall order for most), but just as another repertoire of athletic skills she already does.
