i feel like i must bring this back around. peter is not a spider out of goodwill or heroic instinct, he is spider-man because he chooses to be good with the fate he was dealt. he hurts people. what tears him up is that he knows it’s bad and in the moment he likes doing it. the weak fall prey to the need to exert power over others in whatever way they can. what makes peter a decent man is that he constantly stops himself from falling into that habit, and always carries guilt when he doesn’t. and he does make mistakes. he does let his fear win. it’s not about perfecting his character or being the greatest at all times — it’s just about trying again even when he keeps failing.

they save people are made of stardust. it's not a matter of 'good' or 'evil'. just space rocks & a spark. he doesn't like when people consider him some paragon of all that's good & true in the world; it's a lie, after all. peter wasn't made to be good, spider-man was born from fury & the need for revenge. meant to be strong for the purpose of protection & suffering. he sees the worst of himself in the mirror, & wants to be better. that's where the 'good' comes from. grief, guilt. there is a heart in everyone / not a pendulum of morality, but a stack of blocks, 𝚍𝚒𝚏𝚏𝚎𝚛𝚎𝚗𝚝 𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚜 𝚘𝚏 𝚐𝚛𝚊𝚢; all stacked atop each other to display a collection of moments in which a human is a spectrum of poor decisions & good ones.

SPIDER  -  MAN  &  DEADPOOL  [  ...  ]  they  couldnt  be  any  more  different  .  and  yet  ,  there  is  something  about  the  man  who  dresses  up  as  a  spider  &  saves  the  city  day  in  and  out  .  there  is  something  about  the  way  he  uses  his  whole  HEART  &  SOUL  for  the  good  cause  .  its  something  wade  admires  ,  something  he  could  NEVER  do  .  he  wasnt  made  to  be  good  ,  he  was  created  to  be  crude  ,  violent  &  bloody  .  deadpool  causes  chaos  and  its  spider  -  man  who  then  takes  care  of  it  .  maybe  its  a  back  and  forth  of  some  sort  ,  something  deadpool  does  to  catch  the  heroes  attention  .  WHO  IS  TO  SAY  .  no  one  truly  understands  what  deadpool  does  ,  what  he  thinks  ,  what  he  says  .

❝  bet  ya  heard  many  things  about  me  ,  didnt  ya  ,  webs  ?  ❞  the  cities  quiet  &  its  been  a  few  days  (  or  weeks  ...  ?  )  since  they  found  each  other  entangled  in  the  sheets  together  .  since  peter  took  the  leap  of  faith  and  KISSED  HIM  .  wade  catches  himself  thinking  about  it  more  than  hed  like  to  admit  .  HE  CANT  FALL  FOR  SOMEONE  LIKE  SPIDER  -  MAN  !  it  cant  happen  [  ...  ]  but  now  ,  he  once  again  catches  himself  in  his  proximity  .  hand  pressed  against  the  wall  next  to  peters  head  .  taller  figure  looming  over  spider  -  man  &  even  despite  the  mask  :  the  grin  he  wears  is  OBVIOUS  .
