Unfortunately, Clint Barton doesn’t care about Bucky’s likes or dislikes, not when those contradict Clint protecting what he loves. When the two meet in the boardroom, sparks fly, and Bucky can’t help remembering that one night back in grad school when everything went right before it skewed horribly wrong. He’ll never forgive Clint for his part in turning his world upside down.

Summary: Clint studied his face. Now that Bucky was healing, Clint could see how handsome he was. Dark stubble couldn't hide the sharp line of his jaw or the dimple on his chin. He had a worry line between his eyebrows that didn't entirely smooth out, even in sleep, but the lines around his eyes and mouth were happier. His brows and eyelashes were dark to match the deep brown of his hair, and his eyes - open now - were a startling silver blue.

Clint’s maybe got a little extra luck in him that attunes him to danger, a little voice on the wind that whispers inaudibly when there’s something he should look twice at to make sure he sees it. But mostly, Clint’s just the product of a fucked up bloodline doing his best to survive. What he’s noticing right now is that every inch of the brooding man before him screams danger. Clint is not sure if it’s inherent to the guy himself; some entities feel like danger if they’re the right combination of powerful and pissed off. But he suspects that it’s the foreboding sense that whatever this man has to ask from him, it’s not going to end well. Whether that’s for him or the other guy, Clint can’t be sure.

Hooray for the Winterhawk AU Bang ( @winterhawkaubang)! This was a reverse bang so I created artwork and my lovely writer partner @noxnthea took this little thing and made a whole fic out of it. One wrapping around his knee, the other taped on his back above the hip. “This one might seem lively, but we had to shoot him twice, so go easy on the bloodlust for a bit. We need this one to last you.” one of the handlers said before kicking the blond to get him away long enough for the two to leave, locking the door once more. “Fucking assholes.” The blond grunted, wriggling his wrists against the rope.
