What a great day! Picking up trash at the beach sure does feel good. If only we could stop it before it got there. This year instead of trying to find the most trash we used a sifter and we found hundreds of styrofoam pieces. Styrofoam really irks me. Not only is not recyclable and non biodegradable but it's also toxic to humans. You may have already heard but Lolita did make it through the hurricane 🙌🌊 but absolutely no thanks to @miamiseaquarium_ who abandoned ALL of their "loved" animals during Irma. Thank God 🙏 that she changed her path at the last minute. We still don't know if she is truly okay... the @dolphin_project used a drone on Monday to make sure she made it and that's about all we have. We definitely saw 👊👊👊Miami Seaaquariums true colors last week and we are asking them to please #emptythetanks and #retirelolita to a sea pen in Washington State where she might have the opportunity to see her mother and maybe even reunite. #animalrights #orcas #boycottcaptivity #boycottmiamiseaquarium #endangeredspecies (at Venice Beach)

Praying for my Lovely Lolita. Miami has been lucky enough to miss the eye of the storm but she still has been left in a very dangerous predicament. She has no real shelter and no means to escape. The Miami Seaquarium is outdated and very much deteriorating. It will be a miracle if it it can with stand Irma. It saddens me that they didn't do anything to protect her, especially with so much time to prepare.
