Here’s a sneak peek of my first Legend x Ravio fic I’m making as a gift for @enderbunnytime
Back to Where I Belong
The chain had just gone through a portal taking them to another era which Legend recognized immediately.
The morning dew and rising sun, the sky an orange and yellow hue, the singing birds and light breeze hinting a new day had just begun.
“What a lovely morning,” Sky hummed.
“I agree,” Warriors said, looking around the lush woods they were in.
“Does anyone recognize this Hyrule,” Time spoke up.
“Mine,” Legend said, raising his hand so Time could see him from the back of the group where he had been before they came across the portal.
“Then you know the way,” Time said, tilting his head to the side a bit.
“Is there anywhere you want to go while we’re here,” Four asked.
“Yes, I wanna go back to my house and check up on everything,” Legend said, nodding his head.
Legend walked to the front of the group ready to lead the way to his house. Everyone got back into the side by side line they had been walking in earlier and started for the road once again.
As they walked down the gravel path in the woods Legend kept speeding up and everyone saw how he kept twisting his golden and purple bracelet. They could see the anxiety in his eyes, how his eyebrows were furrowed, how he bit his lip, and the sweat running down his head from strawberry blonde hair. Worry for something or someone was clearly plastered on Legend’s face.
“Wonder what’s at home that’s so important,” Wind whispered to Warriors.
“Maybe it's someone special,” he whispered back.
“If you two keep walking slowly then you're going to get left behind because Legend isn’t slowing down anytime soon,” Twilight said which was weird because he was at the back of the line.
The two looked around and saw that everyone had sped up to keep up with Legend and they hadn’t meant they were at the back of the line.
“He’s probably going to start walking even faster soon by how anxious he looks,” Sky piped up from in front of them.
“Alright alright we’re going, come on sailor let’s get back to our spot,” Warriors said, putting his hand on Wind’s back gently pushing him forward.
“Okay,” He said, then turned to Twilight and waved goodbye and the two of them headed back to their spot in the line.
After some time of walking on the road the sun had risen above the treetops and the sky had become a more blue hue by the time they had reached a two story tan house with a purple roof.
In the front yard there was a sign that read “Link and Ravio” while to the left side there was a little shop with a sign above the door reading “Ravio’s Shop”.
Surrounding the back of the two buildings was an apple orchard filled with beautiful ruby red apples and healthy emerald green trees that seemed to go out more than the eye could see.
Legend took off running towards the house while behind him was a collection of gasp and yelps.
“Legend,” Time shouted.
“Wait up,” Hyrule shouted.
“Come on,” Wild shouted to the others in the back.
The sound of thundering footsteps followed Legend as he raced time to get to the door of his house. No longer could Legend wait, he wanted to get back to the one who was awaiting his return. Eleven months and fourteen days was far too long of being apart from his husband.
He reached for the door but decided not to twist the door knob opening the door himself so he knocked three times instead and slowly backed away after.
The other eight men and boys had caught up and had confused looks, some had their heads tilted while others stood stiff or kicking up the grass and dirt.
“What was that for Legend,” Warriors said annoyed.
“How important is this Ravio person,” Four asked.
Legend didn’t answer, he just kept his eyes on the door waiting for it to be opened.
“Give me a second,” a voice called from inside assuming it belonged to this Ravio person Legend was worried about.
“Oh, so there is someone inside,” Wild said and Twilight elbowed him in the arm.
After a few seconds there was a running of footsteps heading towards the door and then the door swung open.
Black hair and emerald green eyes met with strawberry blonde hair and violet ones. Ravio stood in the doorway wide eyed and jaw dropped.
“Link is that you,” Ravio asked quietly as if he was afraid to scare him off.
“Yeah Rav it’s me,” Legend said, nodding his head.
Ravio stood there for a couple of seconds then he threw himself at Legend wrapping his arms around him tightly and Legend returned the hug.
“I’ve missed you so much,” Ravio said quietly into Legends neck.
“Me too Bun,” Legend whispered back.
The others stood awkwardly behind the two as they embraced each other as if it was the last time they’d see each other. They shifted a bit and looked around pretending that they weren’t there so they wouldn’t ruin the reunion.
“So Legend is he your husband,” Wind asked in a snarky tone.
“Yes now shut up, let me hug my husband peacefully,” Legend retorted.
“Come on, let's give some alone time,” Time said calmly with a grin.
“Where are we going to go,” Four asked curiously with ruby red eyes.

Made a Hyrule Centric one shot here’s ao3 link
Shout outs: Miko and Ender_Ember who is also known as @enderbunnytime
Summary: A one shot of how Hyrule joined the chain.
Welcome Hyrule
It was in the morning and the sky was its usual gloomy gray with thick clouds covering up what little light Hyrule got now and days, nothing like it used to be during the Hero of Legends era.
Link was wandering around as he usually did, clearing monster camps and staying on the road, not stopping for too long. He had gotten curious about the recent rumors flying around about a group of six strange men accompanied by two young boys fighting monsters. He had stopped in the withering fields close to Rauro Town looking to see if there was any trace of the strangers nearby and monsters must have seen him and thought that now would be a grand opportunity to finally capture him and sacrifice him to their dark lord Ganon.
A roar shook from Link’s right side in the dead forest and he spun on his heels to look at the treelines to see two Moblins running towards him quickly, and they had spears. Behind the Moblins he could see a Daira leading a Darknut, about a dozen Octoroks, a swarm of Keese, two Wizzrobes, a Goriya, and two more Moblins with swords and shields.
Link grabbed his sword and shield from his back and blocked the first Moblin that charged forward, performing a spinning attack afterwards, but the second Moblin got in the way using its spear to protect the other, causing the spear to break.
“Stop protesting and give us your blood,” the second Moblin said in an eerie broken voice.
“Blood Blood Blood,” the first Moblin chanted excitedly.
Link jumped into the air and brought his sword up over his head and then he drove the sword down full force onto the second Moblin’s head. The Moblin screeched when the sword made an impact and then it fell backwards bringing Link with it.
Link pulled his sword back up and looked at it.
“Black blood, that’s unusual,” he thought.
The third and fourth Moblins were getting closer with the Keese flying past above their heads and over to him. They swarmed around his head and attacked him, biting him and clawing at his skin. The first Moblin swung its spear right into his side and a burning pain bloomed as he fell hitting the ground.
Link looked around while he collected himself on the ground recovering from the blow. The Daira was now standing at the edge of the treelines watching as his lackeys did all the work.
The Octoroks had spread out around the open field and were shooting rocks around carelessly. He could see to his left that one of the Wizzrobes was starting to chant a spell. He turned his head to look behind him to see the other one stood protecting the Goriya from some Octorok’s attack that came from the far right. Link turned his head back and the Darknut was slowly heading towards him while the other two Moblins were quite close.
Then the Wizzrobe finished its spell and threw fire at Link, he rolled to his left just barely avoiding the attack.
“Well, this is going to be fun,” Link thought as he pushed himself up and off the ground with a groan. He brought his shield up as the third Moblin swung its sword and then he jumped backwards away from the monsters. Then the first Moblin threw its spear at Link and he parried the spear knocking it to the side.
Link looked behind him, seeing an Octorok, it was already preparing to shoot a rock at him so he brought up his shield and parried the attack right back at it.
“I should probably go around and kill the rest of those Octorok with the Keese,” Link thought as the Octorok died.
He started to sprint around the field finding another Octorok, he swung his sword towards it and then he threw his boomerang at a couple of on coming Keese.
Link repeated this process while avoiding the Darknut easily due to its speed and having to jump out of the way of the Moblins more than a couple of times while needing to use the shield spell whenever the Wizzrobes would occasionally cast another spell of fire or lightning.
After some time Link had gone around the entire field and killed all the Octoroks and Keese. Now he only had to focus on the Moblins, Darknut, Goriya, and the Wizzrobes. Though Link was on edge about the Daira, he had no idea what it was up to.
“Why was it just watching,” Link contemplated?
Link turned to the Moblins that were chasing him around the field, bringing his shield up and over his head as the third one was bringing down its sword. The fourth one had snuck behind him while he was occupied by the third and the fourth drove its shield into Link’s left side.
Link crumpled into the ground knocking the air out of him, all he could feel was the new burning pain in his side but when he gasped for air it only led to more pain and he closed his eyes. He could feel his ribs shift uncomfortably and painfully as he inhaled and he choked on a cough, watching as blood came up. He could hear the monsters circling him so he reluctantly pushed himself off the ground.
He rose to his feet and brought his sword and shield up and faced the two sword-wielding Moblins. Now they were accompanied by the first Moblin, Darknut, Goriya, and the Wizzrobes at a distance from the group.
“Gotta take out those Moblins first,” Link thought as he charged at the three Moblins with a yell. He drove his sword right into the stomach of the third Moblin and it let out a pig-like scream then it burst into smoke. Then he spun around in a circle with his sword out only to make contact with the shield of the fourth Moblin.
The impact sent vibrations up his arm but he shook them off and jumped into the air once again driving his sword down, the Moblin used its shield to protect its head and then threw Link to the side.
Link landed on his feet but his ankle went outwards and he hissed in pain. Then Link heard a low growl in his ear and he spun around with his shield up just in time to block the attack from the Goriya. The hit from the Goriya sent Link backwards a bit but he stood his ground and he cast his fire spell onto his sword engulfing it. Link danced around the Goriya avoiding yet another attack and he slashed his sword right into its back. The Goryia screeched and turned around, sending its claws down and scratched Link across his face.
Link wiped his face off, clearing his eyes slightly and turned to see an unsuspecting Wizzrobe not paying attention to him. He grabbed his boomerang and he threw it at the Wizzrobe but as it was coming back to Link it hit a tree changing the boomerang’s direction back to the Wizzrobe. The Wizzorbe let out a scream then burst into smoke, wow must be my lucky day Link thought as he caught the boomerang. Then Link turned to his left now face to face with the first Moblin. They both gripped their swords, the Moblin had taken one, and let out a yell while charging at each other. The Moblins sword went for Link’s head and he ducked down and then stabbed the Moblin through its throat. “Now I only have to deal with the Darknut, Wizzrobe, and Daira,” he thought.
Suddenly he felt a bolt of lightning running through him. He fell to the ground, his body burned and his muscles spasmed then the lightning stopped leaving him in great pain. Link closed his eyes trying to fight back tears. Then something dragged him off the ground and Link peeled his eyes open seeing that he was surrounded by the monsters including the Daira standing in front of him with its ax raised high as if it was about to strike him.
Link panicked “No they can’t have my blood, I won’t doom Hyrule and its people,” his mind screamed. Then Link grabbed the last bit of magic he had and called upon thunder and lightning, his lightning, came down and struck the monsters burning them alive.
Link fell to the ground once again but didn’t stay there, he was bleeding and he needed to patch himself up before more of them came. He knew he wouldn’t stand a chance now that he had no more magic. He got up off the ground and started to limp slowly toward town. Once he got to Rauro Town he walked in and immediately the children stared at him and a mother screamed.
“Get out of here you rotten hero,” one man yelled.
“You good for nothing hero,” another yelled.
“Look he’s bleeding,” a woman screamed in terror.
“What are you thinking, you’ll lead the monsters right to us,” another woman yelled.
Then the people started to throw rocks and anything else they could at Link. They screamed at him, telling him to leave and that he was a horrible hero. Link stumbled and tried his best to move out of the way of the flying objects but his injured ankle and side slowed his movements. Then a man rushed towards him with a knife in his hand and swung it in a large arc, Link yelped and jumped back falling. The man pounced on him and lifted his arm readying to stab him, Link trembled, dragging his arms to his face to protect himself.
“Stop! Get off him right now,” a man yelled.
“What,” Link thought as he heard multiple heavy footsteps come running closer. Link opened his eyes to see a man in shiny armor and face tattoos grabbing the man on top of him and dragging him away while a man with a white cape on his shoulders came and sat next to him. Another man came to help Armor, Link had dubbed him, with the angry man who was trying to pounce on him again. The man looked just like a knight but he had a long blue scarf, Link dubbed him as Scarf.
“Are you okay?” Cape, Link dubbed him, asked as he lifted Link into a sitting position. Link hissed in pain and then shivered. He didn’t like being touched by this stranger, he jerked away from the man and then the world started to tilt and everything started to spin. Link fell into another man's chest and their arms wrapped around him, he smelled of apples.
“Woah there take it easy, you're covered in injuries,” Apples, Link had dubbed him, said wryly.
“M’ fine,” Link said, slurring his words and he tried pushing himself away from Apples but then suddenly everything blacked out.
* * * * * * * * * *
Link felt something cold touch his face and he jolted awake and the person who had put the cold cloth onto his face yelped.
“Hey it’s okay, you're okay, nobody’s going to hurt you,” the person to his left said and Link turned to see a new person was there. He had a wolf pelt on his shoulders and face tattoos as well, Link named him tattoos.
“Where am I and who are you two,” Link said with panic setting in his voice, looking back to his right to see a small boy with a multi-colored tunic, Link named him Shorty.
“My name’s Four and he’s Twilight, we brought you to this inn to patch up your wounds,” Shorty, now Four, replied.
“How did you get so beaten up kiddo?” Tattoos, now Twilight, had asked.
“Why do you need to know,” Link grumbled.
He didn’t know these people and they were touching him which he didn’t like in the slightest. He could feel more eyes on him now that he looked around the room. He saw Apples walking towards him with his hands out in a gesture as if to say I mean no harm to an injured animal. He saw Scarf and Armor standing with a smaller boy with a blue shirt by the window talking quietly. Cape was with a man covered in scars sitting on another bed quietly watching.
“Oh so these people must be the strange people that have been traveling around lately,” Link thought to himself.
“We just want to know what hurt you so badly and why those villagers were attacking you,” Apples said softly as he got to Link’s side with Four.
“Monsters and they don’t like me, I’m cursed,” Link mumbled, wanting to run away from all the confused eyes on him and the crowded room.
“Could you tell me if there were any unusual things about the monsters?” Apples asked, completely ignoring the cursed part.
“They had black blood,” Link replied.
“Thank you,” Armor had said from the window.
Link eyed the window “I could jump out from there and get out of here then,” Link’s thoughts were broken when he once again felt something cold on his face and he jerked away.
“Sorry, sorry,” Four said while holding a blood-soaked cloth.
“I was trying to clean off your face, you got a pretty nasty scratch across your face.”
“Oh,” Link said with a shaky voice.
“Are you okay kiddo?” Twilight asked.
“Can I leave? I don't want to be here, I want to be left alone,” Link replied.
“Well we have to talk to you about something,” Cape had said.
“Before you run off can I at least clean and bandage the rest of your wounds and give you a potion for your broken ribs and twisted ankle,” Four said sternly.
Link nodded slightly and Four went back to cleaning and addressing his wounds while Link squirmed the whole time trying his best to escape the unwanted touch but he knew they only wanted to clean his wounds. By the time Four was done Link felt sick and thought that the room had gotten smaller as if it was closing in on him, he wanted to get out and run for one of his caves where he knew it was safe.
Twilight and Apples had left him and Four earlier and Four had just walked away to what Link assumed was Four’s bag to get something that Link didn’t pay attention to. He looked over to the window and saw that the three people who were standing there previously weren’t there anymore.
“Now’s my chance,” Link thought to himself.
Link jumped out of the bed he was sitting in and ran for the window and pushed it open. The next thing he knew he had jumped out the window and was falling from the second story. Link curled up onto himself and rolled before he hit the ground cushioning his fall and he rolled onto his feet. He felt a thousand needles piercing his side and he wrapped his arms around his sternum.
“Right Four said I had broken ribs,” Link remembered.
“Wait come back,” he heard many of them shout from the window.
Link didn’t turn around to look at them, he just looked forward and started to run. He ran and ran until he got to the back gate of Rauro Town. Then he slowed down walking slowly as he approached.
“Maybe I should keep an eye on them. They seemed to know something about why the monster’s blood had become black,” Link thought.
Link had left town and wandered about in the field close by where he was attacked earlier. Then from a distance, he saw the group leaving the village heading towards him. Link ran into the nearby forest and hid in the bushes of the tree lines. He waited for the heroes to arrive to finally come up with a decision.
“I’ll just follow them from the shadows and watch them, maybe I can get answers. Also, they are quite peculiar,” he thought.
Link followed them throughout the day watching them fight monsters when they came across them. Though Link thought it was strange that so many were showing up, normally they didn’t appear at this rate unless he was bleeding and the monsters were being attracted to the smell. Link knew he wasn’t bleeding, Four had cleaned him up and wrapped his wounds.
While they fought Link observed them closely and saw that they were good at fighting, very good at fighting in fact. It was as if they did this all the time and their teamwork was a bit rusty so he figured that working together was a new thing for most of them. He saw that Four and Twilight were quite fine with teamwork so was Scars when he wasn’t being reckless with bombs. How does he have so many? Does he just have an infinite amount?
When they were done they went back to walking down the path as if nothing had happened, like this was normal for them. Do they always go around killing monsters? As they wander around they talk to each other striking up either meaningful or playful conversations and they play around by lightly shoving each other around with their shoulders or high-fiving them or patting them on the back.
A couple of hours had passed and the sky had turned to muddy orange with the all-consuming dark clouds of his Hyrule covering the sky. They had stopped for the night to make camp near Mido Town.
Throughout the day Link had learned the names of the others while they talked to each other. Armor’s name was Time while Scarf’s was Warriors but they called him Captain sometimes. The little boy that was with them earlier was called Wind while Cape was named Sky. Scars was called Wild which made sense because honestly, Link thought that he was quite the wild man. Apparently, the man he was calling Apples was named Legend which reminded him of the hero before him, the Hero of Legends.
“What strange names, I guess it fits for strange people,” Link thought as he watched them unpack and start a fire. Link learned quickly that Wild was their designated cook and Twilight was his sous-chef. Everyone else was in charge of finishing camp and once they were done everyone sat down on the ground.
Legend and Warriors were arguing about what Link could read from their lips, ideas of how they would find someone that Link didn’t catch. Four and Wind were talking about tiny creatures called Picori while Four cleaned their weapons. Sky had fallen asleep right after he sat down. Time was silently watching over the group.
After about twenty maybe more minutes later Wild called for dinner. Everyone lit up happy about Wild’s cooking while Time walked over to Sky and shook him awake. Everyone grabbed a bowl and Wild filled them up one by one with some sort of soup with, “was that meat,” Link wondered.
Meat was a rare and expensive treat due to the lack of animals or any life, only the rich could afford meat. The only times Link had meat was when he was at the castle visiting Zelda and the first Zelda and they would have meat some nights for dinner. Though Link would like to stay at the castle with them, especially the current-day Zelda, he knew he would put them in danger so he stuck with his caves around Hyrule.
Link didn’t watch them eat dinner because he knew it would make him hungry as well and he didn’t think about getting food before leaving Rauro Town. What a mistake on his part he thought to himself. Link decided that he was going to take a look around the area and see if any monsters were lurking around. Link scouted about for maybe nine or ten minutes but found nothing so he decided that he would go look for some food. He surprisingly found some herbs that were safe to eat so he declared them as his dinner for the night.
When Link got back to his bush the group had finished their dinner and Wild and Wind were cleaning up the dishes. While the rest of the group was gathering by the fire and talking. Link moved to bushes that were closer to the fire so he could hear their conversation.
“Alright who’s taking the first shift,” Time asked.
“I’ll take it,” Four replied.
“That’s settled then, who’s taking the second one,” Time asked.
“I’ll gladly take it,” Twilight said.
“Then who will take the last one,” Time asked.
“Mine,” Legend said.
“Well that went faster than usual,” Warriors announced.
“That’s good it means that everyone is stepping up to play a part in the journey,” Time retorted.
“Well I’m going to bed good night everyone,” Sky announced. Then he got up and walked over to his bedroll and crawled in, falling asleep immediately.
“Me too,” Legend called out already in his bedroll.
“Same,” Warriors said getting up.
“Guess it’s an early night,” Twilight said.
“I mean after what happened today with Link yeah I would expect an early night,” Four replied.
“Man, I don’t wanna go to bed yet,” Wind whined.
“Alright everyone off to bed we’ll wake early tomorrow,” Time said and everyone headed for their bedrolls except for Four who went to sit by the fire.
“Guess I’ll go to sleep as well then,” Link thought as he curled up on the ground out of sight.
* * * * * * * * * *
Four had woken Twilight up for his shift and went off to bed leaving him alone by the fire in the quiet. After some time Twilight got bored so he decided that he was going to go patrol around the camp.
Twilight got up and headed towards the woods to the right of him and as he walked around the whole camp he took notice of the current conditions of this era. What happened to this Hyrule and its hero? What did he mean by he was cursed? Twilight wondered as he looked at the dead trees and dry dirt everywhere. He even took account of the smell of a poisonous river nearby.
“So the water isn’t safe either,” he thought.
Twilight made his full circle and decided that he would return to camp after being satisfied that he was sure that there were no monsters. He headed towards his left coming back to camp from the opposite direction he went but just as he was about to go through some bushes he heard soft breathing coming from close by. Twilight grabbed his sword and spun around finding nobody but he didn’t relax.
He looked to his left having his eye caught by some dark green and he walked towards it with his sword up and ready to attack if he had to. To Twilight’s surprise, the only thing he found was Link sleeping soundly in the bushes, he was hearing his soft breathing.
“So he was following us this entire time, well that makes it easy for us to find him,” Twilight thought as he put his sword away.
* * * * * * * * * *
Time was being slightly shaken by someone so he reluctantly cracked open his one eye seeing that it was Twilight trying to get his attention.
“Yes Twilight, what can I do for you,” Time asked.
“Remember how Link ran off,” Twilight replied.
“Yes, do you have an idea of where he could be,” Time wondered.
“Actually I know where he is right now,” Twilight said.
“Oh is that so,” Time said curiously.
“Yeah he’s here with us in those bushes sleeping,” Twilight said while pointing to the bushes to the left of the fire.
“Oh my, he must have gotten curious or suspicious of us,” Time said and Twilight nodded.
“Well, we should tell everyone in the morning,” Time said as he laid back down in his bedroll while Twilight walked back to the fire and sat down.
* * * * * * * * * *
As soon as the first beams of sunlight came through the thick clouds, which wasn’t much, everyone including Link had woken up and packed everything away and started on the road again.
This morning Link noticed that Time and Twilight had started to whisper something to everyone one by one. Link found himself curious about what they were talking about because everyone had a different reaction varying from shock to excitement. He caught them looking around more often than yesterday and that was also rather curious. They’re even interacting with each other more than yesterday, having frequent conversations with each other and talking about themselves.
“So they don’t always travel together then,” Link thought to himself. He learned that Wild had memory problems and couldn’t remember much before seventeen. Also that he and Twilight had been traveling together for a couple of years now. Twilight himself was raised in a secluded village named Ordon and he was a ranch hand. Time was married and lived on a farm with lots of horses which Link didn’t know what a horse was. Warriors was a captain while Sky was a knight that came from the sky. Wind was a pirate and Legend was a retired hero and Four was a blacksmith.
Once it was lunch time Link had learned lots about these people and he found himself curious about Legend. Everything about him reminded Link of the Hero of Legends, the hero he admired and wanted to make proud. So Link worked up enough courage to walk out of the bushes and confront the group.
“Hey Link,” Twilight said cheerfully as he turned his head to the sound of rustling leaves.
“What,” Link whispered confusedly.
“Glad you've finally come out,” Wind chirped, practically bouncing where he sat.
“No more hiding okay,” Legend said softly as he walked up to Link taking his arm into his and guiding Link to the group.
“What do you mean no more hiding,” Link asked, completely confused about what was happening.
“Found you in the bushes last night sleeping,” Twilight said with a gentle smile.
“You’ve all known the whole day,” Link shouted.
“That’s right, but now that we’ve gotten your full attention we have something to tell you,” Time said while pointing to an empty spot in their circle. Legend guided Link to the spot and gently pushed him down and he sat right next to him.
“I’m sure this will answer some of your questions,” Warriors assured Link.
“As I’m sure you’ve heard and seen, we are a group of travelers that aren’t from around here that fight monsters and help where we can. I bet you’re wondering where we came from and what our goal is and to answer that question is that,” Time explained.
“We’re heroes from across time who have come together by portals to fight a great evil that we’ve been calling The Shadow,” Wind blurted, interrupting Time.
“Well to summarize everything that would be it,” Sky chuckled.
“So what does that have to do with me and what about the monster's blood becoming black,” Link asked.
“The monsters have been affected by the shadow by enhancing their strength making them more difficult to kill. As for what this has to do for you, well aren’t you the hero of this era,” Warriors answered.
“Well I wouldn’t exactly call myself a hero but Zelda says that I am,” Link murmured.
“Well then I think we should let you know this, we’re all named Link,” Legend said.
Link didn’t know what to do with this information, he was so confused. So these people were heroes that saved Hyrule from across time and they all shared the same name as him. How did they end up here though Link wondered. All they had said was that they were chasing a “shadow” that made monsters stronger.
“Were they here for him too, was he supposed to join them,” Link pondered. “Can we go back to the portals please,” Link thought, wanting more information.
“We’ll need a nickname for you,” Wind chanted.
“What’s your hero title,” Four asked Link.
“Well Zelda called me the Hero of Hyrule and she said I was called that because of my dedication to my country,” Link replied quietly.
“Then it’s settled, your name will be Hyrule,” Legend said enthusiastically.
Link could feel the heat rise in his cheeks blushing from embarrassment, why should someone like him, a cursed person ready to doom his country get to take the name of said country?
“Nice to meet you Hyrule,” Wild and Sky had said in unison.
“Well I was wondering about the portals, could you explain them to me,” Hyrule asked.
“Oh, the portals are rifts in time that the Shadow made to travel about from different eras. We all came across them while chasing the Shadow and we eventually ran into each other deciding that we can’t take on this new evil by ourselves,” Time explained.
“Oh well that would make sense,” Hyrule said, nodding slightly.
“By the way Hyrule have you checked on your wounds from yesterday, if you haven’t then you should change your bandages,” Four said.
“No, why should I change my bandages,” Link, now Hyrule, which he would have to get used to hearing apparently, asked.
“Well you did run off before I could give you a potion to heal your wounds especially your broken ribs and twisted ankle, by the way how are your ribs and ankle,” Four said.
“Wait so I could be bleeding right now,” Hyrule shouted, voice shaking and panic rising in his tone.
“Yes, I would assume so because you haven’t changed your bandages and cleaned your wounds, is that bad,” Four asked.
“Didn’t he say that he was cursed,” Wild retorted.
“Now that I remember he did say that,” Sky said.
“Is your blood cursed then,” Warriors asked.
“Yes and it's been attracting monsters this whole time,” Hyrule said curling in on himself and grabbing his hair. How could he have been so stupid, of course the amount of monsters showing up was because of him.
“Hey it’s okay, you don’t have to worry about it, we fight monsters all the time. Right now we should tend to your wounds and then we can worry about the monsters,” Legend said, moving closer to Hyrule and moving his hands away from his hair.
Hyrule looked up and saw nothing but a kind gentle look on Legend’s face as he held his hands, reassuring Hyrule that everything would be alright. Hyrule nodded slightly and Four came over and handed Legend a roll of bandages with a cloth.
“Here you are Legend, he seems to trust you more than us,” Four said.
“Can you lift your tunic up for me so I can clean your side,” Legend asked while wetting the cloth with a sanitizer. Hyrule pulled up his tunic missing his undershirt and saw that it was coded with blood. Hyrule started to shake seeing just how much he was bleeding and looked at Legend and saw his eyebrows crease at the amount.
“I’ll get you another undershirt you can borrow until we clean that one, actually scratch that. I'll just get you a new undershirt and tunic. They look as if they’ll fall apart,” Legend said.
Hyrule pulled off his tunic and undershirt revealing the bloody bandages around his sternum and Legend came closer to unravel them. Once they were off the only thing they could see was blood starting to pull out of Hyrule’s left side.
“I’ll get a couple more cloths,” Four said.
Legend brought up the cloth to Hyrule’s side and started to get to work on wiping away the blood. After a couple of minutes and a couple more cloths Legend had gotten all the blood off and cleaned Hyrule’s wound, which stung the whole time from the sanitizer. While Legend was cleaning up Hyrule’s wounds with Four guidance the rest of the group pretended to be busy with something else but they occasionally looked over at Hyrule.
Legend grabbed the roll of bandages and started to wrap Hyrule’s beaten and bruised side. He went around a couple of times making sure that they were not too tight around Hyrule’s thin form. “Does he even eat, he looks starved,” Legend questioned. He could feel Hyrule squirm every so often whenever his hands brushed against the boy. “How much have they done to him?” Legend was sure the others thought his behavior recently was strange because usually he was rude to everyone but he didn’t care what the others thought, he had failed Hyrule, the boy in front of him, now he has to clean up the mess he left behind because he was too weak. Helping Hyrule clean and maintain his wounds and protect him from further danger was the only thing he could do for his successor right now.
After Legend had finished he went through his pack to find an undershirt and tunic for Hyrule to use while he waited for a new one because Legend wasn’t going to give him back his old one, not with its condition.
“Here you go, put this on,” Legend said while handing Hyrule his old dark brown undershirt and green tunic.
“Thank you,” Hyrule muttered blushing a bit then he slipped them both on. Then he looked up seeing Wild walk over to him holding a plate with food he’s never seen before.
“Here, have some lunch, we already ate and there were leftovers,” Wild said, handing Hyrule the plate. Hyrule hesitantly picked up his fork and grabbed something yellow and took a bite. It was soft and chewy and had an earthy taste, Hyrule didn’t really mind the taste so he went for another bite.
“Hey I’m going to the river to fill up my canteen. Does anyone else need theirs filled,” Twilight announced.
“Mine please,” Sky said.
“Can I come with you?” Wind asked.
“Sure sailor,” Twilight replied and Wind sprinted towards him grabbing Sky’s canteen in the process. Then Twilight and Wind were gone, into the woods to a nearby river leaving the rest of the group behind to find something to do instead of staring at Hyrule, their newest skittish member.
Wild decided to get started on dishes but he left the food on the fire just in case Hyrule wanted more food. Sky asked Four if he wanted to join him in gathering more fire wood since it was quite small. Warriors and Time managed to get one of Legend’s maps hoping that this era hadn’t changed much between the years of Legend and Hyrule. They used the map to try to make a route for the upcoming journey. Legend stayed by Hyrule’s side while he slowly finished his lunch.
Legend noticed that Hyrule was still suspicious about the food but he understood why. The younger hero had been through so much as what he gathered from the interaction at Rauro Village and his wounds.
“Um… I’m done ,” Hyrule muttered while handing Legend the plate of food.
“You sure, you’ve only had a quarter,” Legend asked wryly because the boy was so thin and Legend thought he needed more food in his malnourished body.
“Yeah I’m good, I don’t really eat much anyway,” Hyrule replied looking down at the ground.
“Why not,” Legend asked, taking the plate.
“Well as you’ve seen there’s not really much food out here,” Hyrule replied with a neutral look on his face and voice flat.
“Wait you're saying that you live out here,” Legend shouted while gesturing around him to the wasteland their country had become.
“Yes,” Hyrule mumbled, bringing his knees to his chest and wrapping his arms around them and Legend sighed loudly, closing his eyes and re-opening them.
“You are going to be a work in progress aren’t you,” Legend said with no ill intent behind it. “I’ll be right back then we can talk about things you think are normal,” Legend said as he rose from the ground with the plate in his hand. He proceeded to walk over to Wild and handed him Hyrule’s dish.
“I’ll save this for later just in case,” Wild said, putting the food into his slate. “Just how much can he fit in that thing,” Legend thought to himself as he walked back over to Hyrule. Hyrule was digging his toes into the dirt, obviously bored.
“Bored are we now,” Legend said with a gentle smile.
“Yeah,” Hryule whispered, voice being muffled by his knees.
Legend was just about to sit down when a scream echoed through the woods in the direction of Twilight and Wind. Everyone that was at the camp, being Warriors, Time, Wild, Hyrule and Legend, all swung their heads around grabbing their swords as well and they waited a second before someone spoke up.
“That was Twilight’s scream,” Wild sputtered after a second.
Then everyone could hear someone running towards their camp and the five men brought their swords up and went into a defensive position. Not long after Wind came rushing through the bushes heavily panting.
“Mon..monsters…Twilight,” Wind stammered.
“Where are they sailor,” Time pressed.
“By..by the ri..river,” Wind stammered.
Then more rustling of bushes came Sky and Four panting.
“What’s going on,” Four asked while Sky caught his breath.
“Watch out,” Wind shouted as a monster jumped out from the bushes behind Sky and Four with a club raised high. Sky jumped to his right while Four jumped to his left avoiding the surprise attack. Then suddenly more monsters, too many monsters show up all with a malice look to them.
“Wind, you lead Time to Twilight and help him out,” Warriors ordered and Wind nobbed in acknowledgement and he and Time ran off into the woods in search of Twilight.
“Everyone prepare yourselves for and don’t endanger your comrades,” Warriors ordered the rest of them.
Hyrule looked around noticing that he knew all the monsters there. There were multiple Moblin’s, Goriya’s, Daria’s and a couple Wizzrobes. Hyrule froze, he knew that they were here because of him because of his blood, he put them in danger and he had to be the one to fix this.
“Everyone spread out and take on groups, it’ll be easier that way,” Warriors shouted from the far left and everyone answered by moving apart, attracting a group of five or six monsters. Instead of moving away as well, Legend stayed by Hryule’s side and he didn’t understand why.
“Why stay with me? They want me, they want to sacrifice me to bring back Gannon,” Hyrule thought to himself, backing away from Legend, then he spun around and ran, attracting many monsters from his now bleeding side from the strain. He didn’t look back to Legend who he knew thought that he was still there behind him, he just kept running.
Fi was shining brightly in Sky’s hands, he knew that these monsters were infected by the shadow from the black blood coating his clothes and the master sword. Nothing went through his mind as he mercilessly killed monsters left and right. One two three now five Moblins fell to his feet as rushed through the growing group of monsters.
Four jumped to his side avoiding an attack from a boomerang that a Goriya threw and he charged forward blue flashing in his eyes instead of the usual gray. He stabbed the Goriya and it fell to the ground just for two Moblins to come and take its place. He spun in a circle cutting the legs of the Moblins causing them to fall backwards into the ground. Four made the final move by stabbing them in the head.
Warriors had moved to the edge of the field where Wind and Time ran off to help Twilight. He had stationed himself there to stop any monsters from going after the two causing even more trouble for them because he knew that there were already monsters with Twilight from the sound of his scream. He cut down every monster that got close but no matter how many he killed twice as much would appear. “Hyrule did say they were attracted to his blood but I didn’t think this many monsters would show up,” he thought to himself as the next wave started.
Wild had decided that his best efforts were him snipping monsters from the top of a tree because it’s really hard to fight monsters with a sword, claymore or spear when you currently don’t have one. He looked around the whole field shooting any monsters that got too close to his brother's blind spots then when he looked over at Legend he saw that Hyrule was running away from him with way too many monsters for his liking chasing their new injured member.
“Legend behind you, Hyrule’s being chased,” Wild shouted to Legend hoping he heard him. Legend spun around and started to run towards Hyrule lifting his hand up in the air to thank the champion.
Legend was cutting down Moblins and Goriya’s like it was nothing and had a bit of a hard time with the couple of Dairas that had shown up. He had thought that Hyrue was behind him the whole time but he should have known better, he did jump out a second story window just to get away from them yesterday. Then Wild shouted that Hyrule was being chased by a hoard of monsters he knew that he would have to leave his group of monsters for his brothers to deal with while he went to go help his successor.
He turned to see Hyrule beginning to get overwhelmed by the monsters, he had his sword and shield in hand but Legend could see that his left side had started to bleed through his borrowed tunic again. “So there’s this many best his wound opened up again, we’ll have to clean that again,” Legend thought as he started to run to Hyrule leaving the monsters behind, but some of them followed including a Daira.
Hyrule ran but not for long and not that far away because a group of monsters had rushed out of the wood blocking his way forwards and the monsters chasing caught up and surrounded him. His only choice now was to fight the monsters but he didn’t know how long he would be able to keep up, he felt awful and his body ached.
He took out his sword and shield and just in time he brought up his shield to block the ax of a Daira. The hit had pushed Hyrule back a bit but he quickly recovered jumping out of the way when the Daira tried again but he jumped right into a Moblin. He brought his sword right into the Moblins stomach and pulled it out from the right making a gaping cut in the Moblin, and then it fell. Hyrule focused on the Moblins and Goriya’s that were right in front of him saving the Daira for later or if he could make an opening to get away.
Hyrule felt a surge of dizziness hit him causing his vision to go blurry and he stumbled backwards right into a Goriya. The Goriya saw this as a chance to knock Hyrule down so it punched Hyrule right in the head. Hyrule hit the ground with an audible cracking sound and he started to wheeze closing his eyes. He couldn’t get any air into his newly crushed lungs and the Goriya walked up to Hyrule bringing its foot down his right leg making Hyrule scream in agony.
“Hyrule,” someone had shouted from close by but then monsters around him started to roar and stomp their feet. Hyrule could hear the monsters starting to hit the ground and scream more just to be met with someone shaking his shoulder.
“Hyrule are you still with me,” they asked him and Hyrule cracked open an eye to see Legend crouching over him with creased eyebrows and a frown.
“There you are, here let me help you up Rulie,” Legend said while wrapping an arm around Hyrule’s arm gently pulling him up from the ground.
“Ruile,” Hyrule said confusingly and Legend nodded.
“Yeah, it’s your new nickname,” Legend told him, pulling Hyrule closer to him so he could hold him up.
“Wait, no you shouldn’t be here,” Hyrule said, panic seeping into his voice.
“Rulie we’ve already told you that we would be here to help you, you just got to trust us,” Legend told Hryule gently bringing up his sword knocking away a boomerang.
Hyrule nodded slightly, he didn’t want to endanger them even more than he already had but Legend and the others were determined not to leave him alone so he had to trust them and let them help.
Now that Legend was holding up Hyrule, the fight had become much harder but he wasn’t about to put him down because Legend was afraid a monster would run off with him. He tried his best to block their attackers and he managed to get a couple of hits on some of the closer monsters. Just as Legend thought that they might be able to get out of the crowd, their odds had dropped because now there were two Daira’s in front of them.
“Shit,” Legend said under his breath and Hyrule looked up at him. “No, no it’s fine don’t worry I’ve got you,” Legend said softly shaking his head. He turned his attention back to the Daira’s now what am I going to do he thought to himself. Hyrule must have seen him frown even more because he lifted his fingers and snapped.
Four was going to be honest, he was having a hard time with these monsters. They were much bigger than he was but he was faster and able to avoid their attacks easily but the problem was that they wouldn’t stop coming. “When will they stop coming,” Four screamed in his mind as he slid under a Moblin spinning around cutting the beast's back and it fell to the ground.
“Four behind you,” Sky shouted running towards him and Four spun around with his shield up but he wasn’t fast enough and he was plunged into the ground. Sky made haste and got to his side fast, bringing the master through the Moblins' throat.
Sky turned back around to Four “are you okay,” he asked, putting a hand out.
“Yeah I’m fine,” Four said, taking Sky’s hand, letting him lift him off the ground. Then they turned back around to see that there were now five Daira’s standing in front of them.
“Well isn’t this going to be fun,” Four said sarcastically and Sky nodded his head. They were already beaten up quite a bit and from however long they had been fighting these monsters now they’ve realized that these monsters in particular were strong. They tightened their grips on their swords going into a battle stance readying to take the Daira’s down.
Before anyone could make a move there was a crackle in the air and then the sky lit up and thunder roared. Lighting came down all over the field hitting most of the monsters then it went away just as fast as it came.
“What was that,” Sky and Four said simultaneously looking at each other.
Warriors was thankful to Wild for watching his back because if it weren’t for him Warriors thought that a monster would have gotten past him and he would be even more beaten up than he was now.
“Hey Time and Wind are back with Twilight,” Wild shouted to Warriors and he turned around.
“Great your back… goddess you all look awful what happened,” Warriors asked frowning.
“Monsters,” all three of them said.
Time had his arm wrapped around Twilight helping him walk while Wind was in front of them both with his sword out. Just as they had all regrouped the air crackled then the sky lit up and thunder roared. Lighting came down on all of the monsters that Warriors hadn’t gotten yet and then it left.

Look at the last super moon of the year.

Exactly, like if you changed your mind and don’t want it anymore just say something instead of disappearing leaving me to figure out what to do with drawing.
I just wanna say this because I’m quite upset that this happened but if you ask for a commission and I do it but then you block me before I even give you then final result then please don’t waste my time and materials.
Someone had asked me to draw their dog and I didn’t but I went to show them the half way point of it to show them how it was going they had either blocked me or deleted their account.
Also if anyone has any drawing requests for linked universe then don’t be shy while for commissions it’ll be 10 dollars an hour.

Another ring next the last ring I made which I’m renaming it to be the friendship ring from the Oracle games because I got the material to make Ravio’s bracelet. The ring on the left is the power ring from the Oracle games.
