An Art Fight round up because I forgot! This was my first time actually managing to successfully do one and I had loads of fun 😊

I spent way too much time on this (I'd promised myself 30 minute speed draws only, it was not) but I'm so proud of it! Inspired by the vibes of G1 Transformers box art.

I immediately knew I needed to draw this lil guy. I wish I'd had more time to draw a background environment, but I loved experimenting with lighting on this one.

This person was my first AF attacker and when I saw they were looking for Design an OCs and had requested "transformer cybertonians themed on love, neons, and futuristics" I knew I had to give it a shot (pun intended). I loved coming up with this lil guy, and was almost too attached to part with him.

My first time drawing anything vaguely horror based, made my own pose reference with a photo because I had such a clear vision of the pose in my mind.

I love birds, so a transformer with a bird mode was an absolute must do! They give me big phoenix vibes.

I had other plans for this drawing originally, but it turned into a really cute couple drawing. Honestly transformers giving each other literal lifts feels like a trope that needs to happen more often in Transformers.

A reply to their drawing of my OC Transom catching ShortStock! I struggled trying to convey movement, but I do love the pose and attempt at perspective! Mini Transom was a bonus as well, I think he looks so cute made of blobs.

Cel-shading that I use for robots

if you have bad color sense like me and want to trick ppl into thinking that you know what you're doing.

1-2 : Base and Shadow

3 : Highlights

4-5 : Reflective Light & Contrast/Flow

note: every detail should come together nicely and lead your eyes to the main focus :)

6 : Touchups

Continue refining the shadows/highlights. Add interesting textures/ artistic effects.

I personally love duplicating the lineart, put it on overlay (with color) and move it slightly off-center it creates nice highlights on areas with seams when you don't want chromatic abberation.

Things I am learning this month: I'm very bad at sticking to time limits (these were supposed to be a single 30 minute sketch that I ended up spending 3 hours on).

I can't decide whether I prefer the soft light or the dramatic light, but the joys of blending layers giving me choices ✨

I have to admit I've never drawn Transformers Prime before, but I was super stoked to give this prompt a go!

This is their ship all cuddling, including (from left to right) Ratchet, Soundwave, and their oc Havocscream.

Havocscream and their design belongs to @fuel-burn it was an honour to do my best to draw them ❤️

First made this guy using Pierogiy's Piccrew for fun, but then he grew into a whole character and I thought it was about time to redraw him in my own style

Also found this amazing lego transformer 'SkyTrax' made by AlanYuppie who had the amazing idea of the seaplane pontoons folding in half to become legs that inspired my own design

It's been ages since I've made a fandom OC, and I didn't expect to be making a transformers OC at first but he's been super fun! I'm looking forward to writing with him and drawing him some more 💜
