Cecil Palmer could do TMA but Jon Sims could not do WTNV. Cecil has no fucking curiosity, as the Archivist he would read all the statements and go “golly, these sure are fun :)” then find out about the Fears and kill Elias in three days. Jon in Night Vale would be fired and eaten day 1

after all these years people describing the archival crew as "found family" is still hilarious to me like yeah. family in the sense of youre trapped with all these people you dont get along with due to circumstances outside your control i guess.

It is complete! After obtaining a new tape deck (and 146 re-records because the quality difference was day and night) I have finally finished recording all 200 episodes of The Magnus Archives on tape. Now all that is left is the "painful" task of having to listen to them all and confirm the recordings are good ;)

do y’all think the rq gang have considered releasing tma without the tape recorder overlay sounds on actual tapes? cause like ngl i would literally buy a tape player and pay good money to own tma on physical tapes. what a vibe.
