Uh, no, actually. Not trying to diss the headcanon that Dipper is trans or anything, but identical twins aren’t always the same sex. They are most of the time, as they have to share the chromosomes that halve during mitosis (mitosis, meiosis, whichever it technically is for birth. They’re literally the same thing but meiosis repeats the entire process twice). Therefore, it requires a genetic anomaly in order to birth identical twins of different genders--an extra y chromosome has to be in the mix. However, though rare, it is not impossible, and multiple cases of this have been recorded in the past.

Therefore, Dipper doesn’t have to be a female anatomically. Granted, he very well may be! I’m not saying he’s not. I’m just saying the fact that he’s an identical twin doesn’t make him automatically born with a vagina.

But maybe he was. Hell if anyone but the creator knows for sure.

Why Dipper is Trans

  - Mabel and Dipper are identical twins, which means they were born the same sex (Monozygotic (identical) twins occur when a single egg is fertilized to form one zygote (monozygotic) which then divides into two separate embryos. They are the same sex and their traits and physical appearances are very similar but not exactly the same)

- We don’t know Dipper’s “real name” because it’s his birth name

- gets upset over not being called a man in multiple episodes

- wears a shirt to the pool

-gets upset when he has to do “girly” stuff

- Said he always liked the name Tyrone, he was thinking of names for himself

- He’s insecure about his voice

‘MythBusters’ puts the classic insult ‘You throw like a girl!‘ to the test.

The hit show “MythBusters” wanted to see if there’s a distinct difference in the way a guy throws a ball versus the way a girl throws a ball.

They put eight people in four different age groups up against each other to analyze their throws. They had the subjects throw with their dominant arm first. Then they had them use their non-dominant arm because, without practice or training of any sort, it’s sort of like you’re throwing for the first time. This is when the real results showed.

When using their non-dominant arm with zero training, the guys were more accurate, but the girls threw faster.
