ok heres the thing tho. i think carlos would accept the position of dean if for no other reason than to make sure all these uowii cunts stay in line. he cant risk another dissenter, he cant risk a percentage having actually been on janets side but saw how the tide was changing and got on the winning team. he has to keep an eye on their work, approve or deny it, make sure no ones gonna go rogue. make sure the ones who DO want to do his brand of science and want to care for night vale are properly mentored
