the last year and a half has been so fucking evil irt death in my family

my aunt (dad's sister) died unexpectedly last year. 1 of my great uncles died from covid in june. my other uncle died just days later. my aunt (mom's sister) was diagnosed with terminal cancer a few months ago and given a maximum of 2 years to live. my grandmother is receiving medically assisted suicide probably immediately after the holidays, if she can even survive that long.

genuinely feels like someone put a curse on us because my fucking god this past year has been completely agonizing

christmas has always been a huge source of comfort for me since i was really young but how can i feel any joy this year when everyone who made christmas wonderful is gone, or soon will be???????

all of this has been setting off my insane health anxiety too btw so that's been. a lot. which couples rlly great with my ocd also. me typing all of this has my brain telling me i'm gonna cause another death as a result :)

anyways. i'm just really sad. i try not to talk about all of this too often with people because i hate being a downer but i'm just. so sad
