Last night Brittany (@ginger_cake90) and I went to see the Rampage VS the Iowa Wild's @ the ATT Center! It was amazing! Never been to a hockey game before, so it was truly a lot of fun. Its crazy to think how much these two have changed my life. Its crazy to imagine that before them it was just me, Riley, Widget, & Bae (Baelfire). Now we are a family. A big happy family. Yes we tend to butt heads, yes we are very sarcastic, yes all three of us loves to be right, yes we love to have dance offs & sing our hearts out to jams on the radio, but these two are people I would N E V E R trade for anything else in the world! They mean everything to me, I would push through anything in my way just to provide anything I can for them. I love them so incredibly much. Brittany (@ginger_cake90) knows the struggle I have with expressing my emotions and expressing the kind of love I often may speak of... growing up I didnt have the sort of emotional support or love as Brittany may provide for Aydin or her own mother shares with them both... at times I feel as though Im some alien trying to grasp it all... but honestly I believe I have come a very long way in that department. To say 'I love you' can be hard. To express it, even harder. Everyday I try and sometimes I can come off as hard or uncaring... but I care. I care so very much for them. I am beyond honored to have such an amazing, caring, beautiful, kind-hearted, full of love and laughs woman like Brittany... and a free-spirited, loud & prideful, crazy & insane son like Aydin. Last night Aydin (@aydincharles) had made us not one, BUT TWO dishes from his new kids cookbook! He had made Taco Dogs with veggie meat and 100% beef hotdogs & Tomato Soup Mac N Cheese topped with bread crumbs. It was seriously delicious! I just wanted to say how proud I am of this guy right here ⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️ (@aydincharles). At times like, mornings it can get so hectic for us running around trying to make sure we ate and are ready for school and the day, but when I get here at work... Sitting at my desk and looking at pictures of Aydin or Brittany (@ginger_cake90) and see his artwork hung up on my walls, I cant help but throw a smile on. Im proud as can be when I think back on how well he is doing in school, how smart and kind hearted he can be. Im proud when I work with him on projects and he figures things out himself. Im proud when I learn he can make chicken and understand recipes and has a passion for it. Im proud when we dont have to remind him what to do in the morning before school and he sits there waiting on us! Im proud when we come into his room on the weekends and see he's reading or writing in his journal. Im proud when he creates things with his play-doh and explains this elaborate story to us. I may have not been in his entire existence and I for sure didnt help shape him into the person he is today as Brittany has and so many others in his life... but I sure as am glad to know him and see him grow from this moment on! Some days are bad, but most days are good and thats what we have to focus on! Earlier this week Aydin (@aydincharles) and I went to a STEAM Challenge at a local library. His assignment was to create a shoe out of newspaper and tape. The challenge being able to take off and put on the shoe without ripping the paper and able to walk and kick without ruining it.
