Since moving back to college, my eating habits have been better although they do fluctuate in terms of the quality of food I have been eating. I tend to eat well and feel driven during the day, but by the end of the night I crave sugary and fried foods. I haven鈥檛 been able to steer clear of these cravings just yet, but I am working on improving them. In addition to my eating habits picking up again, I have also slipped in a couple of 20 minute exercises in since Tuesday. I know I haven鈥檛 done all that much, BUT something is better than nothing. I haven鈥檛 had any sort of drive for a very long time, so I am eager to see how far I can push myself and to see how long my drive with last.聽

I have a long day ahead of me so I made a big breakfast to fuel馃憣my usual oats cooked on the stove in @califiafarms vanilla almond milk and topped with banana, berries, @purely_elizabeth granola and @earthbalance coconut peanut butter. Plus a green smoothie made with 1 cup coconut water, handful of kale, 1 cup pineapple, 1 frozen banana and 1 Tbsp hemp seeds. Perfect way to start my day!

For the past week or so my anxiety has been through the roof. It interfered with my eating to the point where if I ate something (no matter how small) my stomach would toss and turn. Shortly after I had a stomach bug that also caused my stomach to toss and turn. Today was the first day I was able to eat more than just bread. Although I have eaten more, I still have not gained my appetite back entirely.聽
During this time period I have managed to lose more than 5 pounds. I love watching the number on the scale decrease, but I also recognize how bad it is to see this as a victory. I lost the weight in an unhealthy manner, and yet I still fight with myself over believing this is an effective way to lose weight. Right now, my mind is all for eating less and less. I鈥檒l get back on track and out of this mindset very soon.聽
