Ok, so I literally can't get this thought out of my head, but Villainous and The Boys have so much intersection at how they treat heroes in their lore. Like, Miss Heed is a GREAT example of this point. Miss Heed is a product. She gets hella followers, has a perfume line, and presumably other products under her name. Heroes seem to be on a similar A-list through D-list tier that celebrities bring with them. While P.E.A.C.E. isn't as publicly shady as Vought Industries is. They have similar morals. Do anything to make supes, even if it hurts their physical and mental health. Miss Heed damn near died to get powers.

Another hero who helps support this is Golden Boy himself. While we get the villain perspective in Villainous v.s. the good guy's perspective in The Boys, Golden Boy and Homelander both have similar levels of popularity and similar goals. They want to eliminate all villains, no matter what. Who is a villain? Anyone who opposes their point of view. All the villains BHO help in Season 1 typically have something about their goal we as an audience can sympathize with. Despite this, Golden Boy has a plan to eliminate them all and prevent ... just like Homelander's plan to slander and beat down the Boys in order to make those who are against him go away.

Idk I might be rambling, I know Villainous will never be similar to The Boys in more ways than details (If Golden Boy ever runs for president I'll go crazy) and as more Villainous hopefully releases, I'm interested in seeing more points of intersection. At this point, it just creates more interesting headcanons in Villainous for me...
