I LOVE THIS LITTLE AU SO MUCH 😪😪🫶🏽🫶🏽

Hi, this is my first post on Tumblr so I'm kinda nervous but let's do it.

I've been working on a not so little one-shot and I have finally finished it. It's a TTS version of Home Alone with Varian defending his house from Lance and Eugene. I'll probably post it on Monday (August 19th) but I've made some art and I've decided to post a little teaser.

“So, what is it that you wanted to talk to me so badly about?” A voice cut through the ever present silence of the night. The bird on Varian’s arm immediately stilled before tugging at the boy’s sleeve even harder than before. It seemed like whatever he wanted Varian to find just found them. The boy looked around the corner and immediately noticed two men in their twenties walking down the street from the bar. It was too dark to see their facial features but the way they carried themselves, confidently and without hesitation, told Varian everything he needed to know. They were absolutely sure nothing would happen to them, which along with the fact they didn’t seem drunk, meant they were used to walking around at such late hours of the night. “I think I found a new activity for us.” The second voice was less deep than the first one, but just as powerful. “You know that big, old house near the forest? I heard the village leader lives there. I bet we could make quite a lot of money…” Varian felt his breath freeze in his chest. He didn’t like what he was hearing, not at all. “Hmm… Most of the town will probably spend the weekend at the celebration, and from what I heard the leader is in Equis at the gathering. The house would be left completely unprotected… You know what? If you agree to split the goods fifty-fifty, we've got ourselves a deal, Rider.”
