Quick question to the autistic community of Tumblr to make sure of somthing,so I'm not diagnosed with anything formally because im not in a position to go to a professional right now,I strongly suspect I have autism and or adhd,and recently I've seen a lot of people online saying that people need to stop using medical terminology and watering it down like overstimulated or hyperfixation ect,like terms specifically used go describe neurodivergent experiences,now to my question is it offensive or incorrect to use the term overstimulated to describe what I feel,because based on research and my own reflection I'm pretty sure that's what happens to me,if I'm touched to much by people I'm not comfortable with or if an environment is too loud and I can't tune it out somehow I get extremely stressed/overwhelmed and almost always need to get somewhere quiet where I can either cry for maybe 20 minutes or do my breathing exercises to try and not cry,I'd never ever want to misuse terms that are important to the community or offend anyone especially since im not formally diagnosed,I just wanted to ask if I need to correct myself and not use the word becaue again I would never want to misuse the word or offend anyone

Tbh I always see alot of transphobes and homophobes like blaming some obscure thing or person for "making kids trans" or "making kids gay" or something along the lines of "spreading the agenda" but rlly if they want something to blame

Do you guys ever just get randomly grouped into a Fandom,like I can't even count how much magnus archives stuff I see when I have exactly zero idea what's going on through out it or like supernatural stuff,I actually wanna watch supernatural at some point but just haven't yet but dosnt make it any less confusing,but then also I'll see stuf for like the longest time to the point just give up and watch it or read it and then suddenly all the memes just click in my brain and it's genuinely like weird lmao

Anyone else gender non conforming have like solid gender identity but is actively struggling with how to present bc honestly so real I don't really wanna look feminine often but then suddenly I'm fighting with weather I want to dress grunge and like a skater or like pretty and cottagecore or smth else,also actively fighting on if my chest makes me dysphoric or hot like holy shit brain pick a fucking lane 😭😭😭😭

Little reminder that free speech and hate speech are not mutually exclusive,sure you can say that all transgender so go die in a hole,you can say whatever you want but thats still hate speech,if you go around saying shit about a group of people like that that's hate speech and say "I HaVE a RiGht tO FrEe SpEeCh" yeah you do but that dosnt mean free of consequences because it's still hate speech weather you like it or not,and if someone is saying hurtful things about you because of your race,gender,sex,sexuality,etc... and they justify it with "free speech" it's still hate speech don't let them use stupid logic to bully you into not saying anything. #fuckthehatespeechers

This is so real tho like I'm just begging for a gender neutral option at this point like PLEASE nintendo I just don't wanna get misgendered while trying to make my pokemon decimate every other one I come across or when I'm just tryna do some land shaping on animal crossing in PEACE not just nintendo but like most big game companies or even some indie ones that are popular (stardew I'm looking at u)

I absolutely love how so many Fandom have like super super conflicting shipping wars and argue about that like alot but then there's at least 86% of the voltron Fandom absolutely in denial and saying klance is canon (bc it is 😤) and yeah some disagree but you gotta admit it's like a decent amount of over half of us that agree lmao

So I do this thing where when I find a label that applies to me and I like I just steal it and it's mine now and I have a list of labels that are mine now and idk why but it just gives me a nice valid feeling idk why ig my validation comes from collecting labels lmao but I have like a physical list in my notes app and it's up to 10 so far and I made myself a custom lock screen with all my flags and I wonder if I'll come across any more and at some point my lock screen is just going to be entirely pride flags,anyways I have completely lost the topic of why I made this post but the message here is you are valid if you want to identify with multiple labels both sexuality and gender you are valid :) and if anyone cares I'm going to put all my labels in the tags if anyone wants to know what I have stolen so far >:)
