The way I care about others (it's hard for me to actually show it but I care a lot about my loved ones)
My facial expressions (I think I'm a very expressive person, sort of like Ron Weasley so it's fun)
My hair, even though it's a raging mess
Dad jokes kind of humor
Dimples
when u get this u have to answer with 5 things u like about yourself, publicly. then, send this ask to 10 of your favorite mutuals (non-negotiable, positivity is cool!)
hey, you sent this to me in may but i never got around to responding (master procrastinator here) im so sorry for not responding but i've finally gotten to it
also, im not sure if you meant physically or personality wise, so i kind of answered both??
to answer your very lovely ask,
my music and film taste
i'm polite to people and i guess im courteous (credits to my parents) and i don't talk bad about people behind their back, unless i talk about people to my parents
i like how sarcastic and funny i am with my close friends and family, and i try to make people feel welcome
nice hair
i write good emails lmao - if anyone who sees this needs someone who can write a professional email, im here

@dujour13 very kindly tagged me in the Companion First Impressions tag game! Check out her answers for the magnificent Siavash here.
I have not officially completed the game yet though I've been spoiled on a lot of the ending haaa... so just treat this as Zell's thoughts after your average Azata ending, and I'll come back later once I've gone mad with power.
Tagging @rlainarin Give your KC’s first impression and final opinion of each of their companions!
First Impressions:
Seelah: You seem... charmingly sincere for Iomedae's lot. And I owe you for getting Terendelev so quickly... I guess we'll see how getting out of here goes, yeah?
Camellia: I don't even know you, and already I know it's gonna be you or me. I can smell the old blood under your nails... I wonder whose it is?
Lann: Wow buddy, how'd you get your head so far up your ass with that horn? Impressive.
Wenduag: Normally I don't appreciate strangers telling me what to do, but you aren't nearly as threatening as you think you are… and you're right about Lann being reckless.
Woljif: You've got the air of ehh... talented grifter who blows his winnings like a pimp, no wonder you got nailed. Anyway, want to go scandalize the neighbors with me?
Ember: Little one, I absolutely agree that they were just scared stupid men in a crisis, but you don't want to smack 'em around even a little bit? All right... we do it your way for now. I guess we'll see about next time too. And the time after that...
Daeran: Hnh, you were the single voice of reason back in the square yet play an imbecile party boy in your own home... So what should I know about you, Count? Whatever you're hiding smells like bad blood.
Nenio: Normally I'd be more wary about someone wanting to do 'experiments' on people a goofiness about you that I respect. I want to see where you're going with all this.
Galfrey: I love how you think you're being cute and clever but you have 'I am in a crisis because nobody is acknowledging me' disease and I can smell it from here.
Sosiel: You seem. Nice. I'm sure we'll get along fine, you just remind me of someone I'd rather not be thinking about just now.
Regill: Oh a Godclaw? The Hellknight mental gymnastics champions? Color me intrigued. Don't tell anyone, but I'm glad someone else around here isn't squeamish about making hard decisions in a bad situation.
Arueshalae: Never once have I imagined I'd meet a demon who would change my life for the better, but... strange things keep happening. We both strive for the impossible, ey? Perhaps we strive together.
Greybor: Weird how I'm two for two on a stranger giving me orders and me being okay with it, but I have been bewitched by your weirdly paternal swagger.
Ulbrig: BRO YOU'RE HUGE. AND ON TOP OF ME. BUY A MAN DINNER FIRST, DAMN. My fuckin *ribs* guy....
Trevor: Ah shit, man. Let's get you home.
Parting thoughts (Normal Azata Ending Edition):
Seelah: Stay questioning, my friend. A life full of joy doesn't mean a life of easy answers, you know? You keep your heart open, and I'll always be keeping an eye out.
Camellia: You just had to keep on lying.
Lann: You are like a brother to me (but sometimes I still want to commit fratricide you SHITHEAD. I love you.)
Wenduag: Is there no world in which you find your peace in life? I know I could have done more, but I don't know what that was supposed to be. I failed you just as much as you failed yourself.
Woljif: Tch, I can't wait to watch you turn into a rich, fat, happy old ram. Maybe cool it on the securities fraud for a little bit, I can't be breaking you out of prison. I mean I will but I don't wanna.
Ember: Kindness really is infectious, yeah? You helped me be a kinder version of myself. I'm so glad to know you.
Daeran: Ah, my best friend; love of my life. What an unexpected surprise, to feel so cherished... I wish you'd let the rest of the world see you the way I do. I never could have done this without you.
Nenio: Well, Professor? What new experiments shall we try next? Your loyal assistant is ever ready!
Galfrey: I'd pity you if I felt like that would fix anything. Everything that wasn't your fault was made your problem; I hope you can find it in your heart to rest from that someday.
Sosiel: Ah I guess you aren't so bad... Nah get back here and hug me, fool. I will see you at Harvest, make sure you're drawing silly things to stay loose.
Regill: Master Derenge, it has been an honor. I will always hold your memory in esteem.
Arueshalae: Hey, keep your chin up, recovering from your old life is going to take time. You know I'll be around, yeah? Always at your back, sister.
Greybor: Don't look at me like that, I'm not being smug at all. Anyway tell your family hi from me, hm? You'll be seeing fruit and flowers from me soon enough.
Ulbrig: I guess... I suppose we'll see each other again sometime, somewhere. Good luck to you, my friend.
Trevor: Give yourself the grace of patience, my friend. I will come to you when you need.

From River To The Sea Palestine Will Be Free 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸
-----
Edit 1: took the first video down because turns out the animator is a terf and it links to her blog. Really sorry for any distress.
Edit 2: All recommended readings + Haymarket recommendations + essential decolonization texts have been uploaded to my linked gdrive. I will adding more periodically. Please do buy or check them out from the library if possible, but this post was made for and by poor and gatekept Global South bitches like me.
Some have complained about the memes being disrespectful. You're actually legally obligated to make fun of Israeli propaganda and Zionists. I don't make the rules.
Edit 3: "The river to the sea" does not mean the expulsion of Jews from Palestine. Believing that is genocide apologia.
Edit 4: Gazans have specifically asked us to put every effort into pushing for a ceasefire instead of donations. "Raising humanitarian aid" is a grift Western governments are pushing right now to deflect from the fact that they're sending billions to Israel to keep carpet bombing Gazans. As long as the blockades are still in place there will never be enough aid for two million people. (UPDATE: PLEASE DONATE to the Gazan's GoFundMe fundraisers to help them buy food and get out of Rafah into Egypt. E-SIMs, food and medical supplies are also essential. Please donate to the orgs linked in the How You Can Help. Go on the strikes. DO NOT STOP PROTESTING.)
Edit 5: Google drive link for academic books folder has been fixed. Also have added a ton of resources to all the other folders so please check them out.
Edit 6: Added interactive maps, Jadaliya channel, and masterlists of donation links and protest support and of factsheets.
The twitter accounts I reposted as it was given to me and I just now realized it had too many Israeli voices and almost none of the Palestinians I'm following, so it's being edited. (Update: done!) also removed sources like Jewish Voices of Peace and Breaking the Silence that do good work but have come under fair criticism from Palestinians.
Edit 7: Complete reformatting
Edit 8: Complete revamping of the social media section. It now reflects my own following list.
Edit 9: removed some more problematic people from the allies list. Remember that the 2SS is a grift that's used to normalize violence and occupation, kids. Supporting the one-state solution is lowest possible bar for allyship. It's "Free Palestine" not "Free half of Palestine and hope Israel doesn't go right back to killing them".
Edit 10: added The Palestine Directory + Al Jazeera documentary + Addameer. This "100 links per post" thing sucks.
Edit 11: more documentaries and films
Edit 12: reformatted reading list
Edit 13: had to remove @palipunk's masterlist to add another podcast. It's their pinned post and has more resources Palestinian culture and crafts if you want to check it out
Edit 14 6th May '24: I've stopped updating this masterlist so some things, like journalists still left in Gaza and how to support the student protests are missing. I've had to take a step back and am no longer able to track these things down on my own, and I've hit the '100 links per post' limit, but if you can leave suggestions for updates along with links in either the replies or my asks I will try and add them.
Edit 15 10th August: added to Palestinian allies list and reworked the Help for Palestine section. There's been a racist harrassment campaign against the Palestinian Tumblrs that vetted the Gaza fundraisers based off one mistake made by a Gazan who doesn't understand English. If you're an ally, shut that shit down. Even if you donate to a scam GFM, you're only out some coffee money; if everyone stops donating to all the GFMs in fear of scams, those families die.

My entire twitter feed is people in Rafah saying they’re terrified, saying their good byes, and asking us to remember them in our prayers. Rafah is facing a massacre. It’s a genocide. We will not know the number of deaths until the morning.

you're going about your normal day when, suddenly, surprise! you've been pokémon mystery dungeon'd!
unfortunately, due to budget cuts, the pokémon assigning quiz has been canceled. instead, you must spin THE WHEEL, assigning you a random, unevolved, non-legendary and non-mythical pokémon. you must now go on some sort of world-saving adventure as this pokémon. good luck!
tell me in the tags what you rolled, and how you feel about it - for bonus points, you can spin the wheel again for (or just take your pick of) a pokémon to be your partner.
bonus rules:
you're not shiny unless the wheel tells you you're shiny
take your pick of regional forms and evolutions (for example, if you roll vulpix, it's up to you whether that means normal or alolan vulpix)
apply whatever logic you like with regards to gender
have fun and be yourself!

So I toke some Adderall and now am thinking about writing so here's how to make a great character.
(keep in mind I am not a published author and this is my opinion take everything I say with a pinch of salt)
Step One: make blob
blob has no gender no sex no race. blob is just character a character with a purpose. now as yourself self what is blob's purpose in the story. once you have that we can move on Step Two Part 1: what is blob's wound
every good character has one, most people do too. wounds can be deeply traumatic or just painful. but they all affect the main character deeply. your character can have multiple wounds but one will be more important
Step Two Part 2: How is blob changed
the wound from Part 1 will affect blob is in some way in a way that will affect blob's entire character from now on. this effect should lead to a false belief. this false belief is general and about the world not just the cause of the wound
Step Three: How does this belief affect Blob's actions
now that Blob's way of thinking has changed they will start to well be. Now we can start asking ourselves who blob is. what their personality is like what their dislike and likes are. but remember these things are all on some level affected by blob's belief.
Step Four: How will Blob change
What will happen to Blob to make them go from a stagnant flawed character to a changed unflawed character.
now most people will not start on step one but even if you don't you should work backward to understand Blob as a character.
here is an example of this method
Eo my PC from a dnd campaign I am in
What is Eo's purpose? his a PC one of many main characters in the campaign
part 1: what is Eo's wound? Eo was alone for a very very long time. part 2: Eo false belief. he thinks he's alone when he's not he struggles to connect with other people. This was temporarily Stopped by the existence of his first love and wife Iris. Iris was the only person: who ever truly knew Eo and the only person he ever fully connected with. when she died, his wound reopened.
Effects on actions. Eo fell from grace now that his wife was dead nothing mattered anymore and his desire to do good things died with her.
Eo must learn that he is not alone and things still matter even if the light of his world is gone
I didn't start Eo's character with this wound in mind I started him with a personality and then decided how he became like that. the wound actually came last. His false belief was the most important thing. so you don't have to do the steps in order what you must be able to do is justify your character by going down the steps in order.
----
So basically do this (if you already have a guy)
have a character and make them walk down this stares
What is their purpose in the story
what hurt them before the start of the story
what do they believe after they where hurt
how does this belief affect them
what must this character learn
after walking your character down you should be able to know them well enough to write them well.
