IMPORTANT INFO FOR CLIENTS - PLEASE READ ! After careful consideration, I am welcoming a change in my payment policy. Starting from 15th October 2021, I will no longer accept payments via PayPal. However, i do have other solutions for my clients. There are several reasons for this, the main reasons are its not friendly for artists and it charges too much fee. Although I understand that you may want to use PayPal because it allows for refunds, tracking payments, and ease of payment, it does NOT give those things to us artists: PayPal can oftentimes (and has) held payments for months on end. PayPal can delay payments. PayPal can terminate accounts without any reason. PayPal also charges a substantial amount of fee. That fee may not be too much for the client, but for the artist, its the only source of earning. PayPal has no right to take a chunk out of somebody's earning. So going forth, no more PayPal. You may love PayPal, but for us, PayPal makes things difficult. Sorry. Instead of PayPal, clients can use Xoom. Xoom is a PayPal service owned by PayPal operated by PayPal and can be accessed within the PayPal app. Its the "Bank Deposit" option when you select "Pay". Simply put, Xoom can send money directly to my bank account instantly without both of us having to wait and being charged extra fee. I had the pleasure of making this character concept art piece for a client recently. Client wanted a medieval piece for audition purposes. The focus wasn’t making it look like a painting but towards hyperrealism since the purpose was to help a casting director envision the actress for the role.
