So if the flowers are supposed to represent the souls (in Undertale), then the “red flower” is missing. Unless it’s not actually missing, since we (still) play as a red heart. 

Also, in the beginning you chose a color. What if you’re choosing one of the souls?

A little note: You really should play Undertale first before you play Deltarune, if you want to properly understand it. Toby himself said it on his main game page, and its not for no reason. It’ll make a lot more sense if you do. Just knowing about Undertale isn’t enough to fully appreciate Deltarune. I know because I played Deltarune first before Undertale. Then I played Undertale. And now when I play Deltarune again, it makes so much more sense now, about stuff that I didn’t get the first time. So don’t just watch a playthrough of the game by other people, that’s not enough, you really need to play the full game yourself first. You’ll understand what I mean once you’ve played the game.

What’s with people calling UnderTale “cringe”?

I don’t get it? It’s a good game and it has the moral of the story to it. Don’t blame people for liking UnderTale. Sure, it has a bunch of AUs, OCs, and memes, but that’s what’s been popular: it has a good story. If you don’t like it, DON’T WASTE TIME HATING IT! MOVE ON! Same with other fandoms. Grow the fuck up people!
