announcement (goodbye?)

hi guys! i know this is super random and may be upsetting to some of you, but in the past few months I’ve just kind of been “out of loop” with the kpop community. i haven’t been listening to the music, i haven’t been paying attention to groups, and i haven’t been feeling the need to. this makes me really upset because kpop really has been a huge part of my life for a good maybe 3 years now; however i’ve somehow managed to fall back into my old loves. many of you may not know this, but I used to be in both the one direction and 5sos fandoms, and they were the loves of my lives for y e a r s. it’s been around 7 years now since I’ve began stanning one direction, and let me tell you my love for them is still the same. now that i’ve taken a break from kpop, really listened to all of their solo stuff, and listened to the new 5sos album, I can’t help but be reeled back to the way I was. that isn’t to say I want to throw away kpop from my life all together, because it really was a huge part of my life for 3 years. my two groups went on a hiatus, my friends all started leaving me, and i was drowning in intense school work and overall just having a miserable time before i discovered kpop. so while I do feel disconnected from it now, that doesn’t mean i will be forever.

now what you all probably want to hear about, my content. the future of this blog is still unknown to me, i’m definitely not going to delete it because this blog holds so much happiness and memories for me, i could never get rid of it. plus, if any of you even still read my content, i want to leave it here for you. i want to leave it open for my decision, i could always feel inspired by a kpop group and come back to writing. however, now i find myself being inspired by other people. so, i’m here to announce i’ve created a new blog called @irwinningly. I don’t know how much i’m going to be able to keep up with it or other things, but it’s basically for me to write about 5sos or one direction. now, i know its extremely possible none of you even like either of these groups, but this is for the people who do and don’t want to let go of my content just yet. again, i’m not done with this blog, i just don’t know what the future holds for it. who knows, in another few months i may be writing a 9k fic about jaehyun because i saw a picture of him and almost died or something! anyways, thank you all for understanding, and i want you all to know that i love you endlessly, and i want to thank you for the immense happiness you’ve brought me while i’ve run this blog. i’m going to post my first fic on my 5sos blog in a few minutes, so if you’d like to head over and read it that’d be lovely, but if not, thank you guys for always being here for me. feel free to message me still, as i will still be checking this blog to talk with you guys and everything, even if i will be more active on the other blog.

ok psa for all of the people who care: college is so fucking stressful and i literally have a test every single day next week and i just miss tumblr so much like i never have time to make any content bc im always doing homework or studying and it just sucks because i miss making content so much! even when im not doing hw or studying im always doing something else like i went home this weekend to visit my family and i literally did not have a minute to myself until i went to sleep, and at that point i was exhausted. If my work load continues like this i feel like i won’t be able to write until MAYBE Thanksgiving, maybe i’ll even have time before that after midterms, but i doubt it. And if THAT doesn’t happen, i literally can only write during the a little over a month off i have in the winter. I’m a very studious student and i get that studying takes up most of my time i just didn’t expect it to be this much yanno? and then there’s you guys who haven’t seen content from me in months and i literally feel so bad bc all i want to do is provide for you guys and give you content you enjoy. i miss all of you guys happy asks once i release something, i miss the excitement of posting something and waiting for people’s reaction, i just miss it all. sorry for my rant i just miss tumblr and writing and all of that shit and im really feeling upset about it rn

soooo today was actually amazing i went to hibachi with my roommates and then they surprised me by decorating the entire room with balloons and bought me birthday donuts and it was overall just the best day and im super happy :)

He sits down beside you in his raggedy, torn up clothing, beads of sweat trailing down his forehead and neck from the dire heat.
