Okey everybody... I need help. Like, real help from German people. (I apologize for my bad english in advance)
So, I am currently writing a book because Drácula wasn't gay enough for my ADHD ass and know I have to make my own gay vampire to fullfill my iche for gay content. At first, my vampire was from an unknown place, too vague to be from somewhere in specifical, and it could be fine if it stayed like that.
Of course, it did not stayed like that. Because life can't be good and/or I hate myself, I started to play around with Van-Helsin's name from the novel of Abram Stocker and ended up with a very german lastname and now everything is set in Germany
And I'M SUFFERING. I know nothing about Germany, I've never been there and never will because I have no money. Besides, I'm very sure that the very specifical cultural information I'm looking for is not going to be in Wikipedia. So I turn towards Tumblr in the search of enlightenment.
In the Ye ol' days of Germany:
¿What was the most common insult/derogative word for gay people?
¿What tought the people back there about gayness?
¿Which were the most common beliefs of those germans before electricity was even a thing?
¿What they ate? ¿How they lived?
¿Which are some traditions that still live till today in Germany?
¿What are things that are so inexorably German, that would be a crime not to know about?
¿What does your ancient leyends for vampires say? ¿How are the vampires in Germany?
Thank you very much to everybody in advance.
