we hear it often how G1 showrunners werent aware of optimus effect on fans when they killed him off but i dont think theyve caught on the monster they created that is skystar.like the writers really cooked one of the few serious and sad moments in g1,gave it to the traitorous screechy birdie screamer with his gentel shuttle, and barely touch on it back fr the rest of the series.

and yet fans latched on this dynamic with strong grips decades afterwards. acting like they got a mission to concoct the most angsty fics/art across every single TF continuity,in wich most of them it isnt even implied that starscream have any past relationship with skyfire

but did that stopped the skystar truthers? hell no and honestly i think that is so slay of them
