sry chat, i woke up unbelievably sick yesterday and i havent gotten better. confessions should hopefully be posted as usual by tomorrow!

I think that if you draw Pearl like a wolf like Ren, then she needs to be just as hairy as Ren. Yeah I know Rendog is drawn furrier because his skin has a beard but who’s to say that Pearl can’t be hairy?

does anyone know why etho is always portrayed as a distant, aloof tsundere or a timid, shy, anxious person?

not saying this in a hateful way im just genuinely confused. every time i watch him i can hear the smile in his voice, and he does so much giggling and playing with people and making weird voices. he's such a little freak.

is there a common fanon explanation for this? have i missed a big video or stream or series that influenced those interpretations? is it just me misinterpreting his character??? im so lost

i dont usually respond to confessions much anymore but (because im autistic about etho) i will say i think its just a characterisation of his social awkwardness and tendency to kind of keep to himself, as well as him not being pvp focused in the life series and thriving much more in hermitcraft in terms of his skill. you can agree or disagree with the charactersation but thats my take on why people kinda pathetic wet cat-ify him

Saw one person was confused so let me explain.

I’m worried that the gluten guys and the rejects will all go out first before the other teams. Only one player out of the seven have one a season before being Joel, a few of them are yellow or light green and Tango went from dark green all the way to red.

When you look at the villains, they all lost one maybe two lives and Pearl is the only one trying not to win.

The cabin crew has Scar as the only person on six lives, Etho and Scott on four and Bdubs on two. Thats still much better than the rejects with BigB being the highest at four lives, Joel with three and the other two at two. That’s worse than the cabin crew.

On the bright side Impulse has only lost one life but that doesn’t make me feel positive. I fear that it’s gonna end like secret life. Two teams will be destroyed by the stronger teams.

Why do I fear this? At the moment no one can go and kill random greens besides Tango or if a boogie man is at play. And tango is well… not looking so hot.

For the yellows Skizz isn’t good at pvp, Jimmy could hold his own but his recklessness and impulsive tendencies gets him killed, and Bdubs also doesn’t have a good track record for killing. He might be able to sneakily kill someone (eg killing impulse for a clock, boogie kill on Grian) but compared to the villains pvps skills? Bdubs is a dead man.

Also I didn’t bring up Cleo and Martyn as their current goal is to keep Martyn off red and neither are interested in winning. At most they’ll help the villains but that’s about it. As far as I care they’re eating popcorn while watching everything go down lol.

Overall, some members from the gluten guys and the rejects have a bad track record of dying easily or having worse pvp skills than the other two or three teams. I just don’t have high hopes and it makes me sad.

mounders are my favourite team ups for mainly two reasons, the first is that it doesnt reduce the members to architypes or makes a duo in a trio or a quad like other team ups

which is so refreshing given the onslaught of people finding their favourite ships in team ups which! i love doing too!! but it be happening to all my team ups so it is nice to get a break some times

the second is that it is uncomplicated found family

Some people that I've met in a specific subgroup of this community aren't able to hold a conversation without making it entirely about them and the impact they have on the fandom. You can talk with four, five, six people at the same time and all of them will be talking to themselves trying to prove they're number one community members and number one tumblr blogs. We all have access to youtube, we watch the same exact stuff, just because you're louder about it doesn't make you better than anyone else in the fandom?? It's not a competition

I only got into the Life Series several years back because my closest friend at the time went on a long autistic infodump about Last Life while we were eating at a Waffle House at 2am

past life is horribly, horribly boring. i went from watching up to 6-7 full povs every weekend to barely watching one. conversations impact nothing, gimmick impacts nothing, there's no sense of proximity inside the alliances and distance between them. everything is silly, the fourth wall is just gone. these are not characters in a story, just a group of friends playing modded and moderated, not quite high-stakes hardcore minecraft. it is what it is, but the charm of minecraft roleplay is how it makes you forget this is minecraft with a bunch youtubers in the first place. past life is exaclty the opposite of what *i personally* expect from life series based on all previous seasons.
