I let the sun set before I could admire its beauty and soak in the final minutes before impending nighttime. And rising of the moon.
I feel ashamed for missing such an opportunity due to never being able to experience such a lush and vivid image again.
Yet once it’s done, I can never get the opportunity back. It’s gone. It’s over.
I was dismissing such a dear sight due to my own ignorance and neglect to look beyond what was in front of me. I regret that thoroughly now with the curse of hindsight that was cruelly given to me.
I could only now imagine what a sight it was to behold to the other people who got to see the sun set, and I envy them for it. I envy them so much I wish I was the only one who could have watch the soft watercolors of the sky fade into a deep black with speckling of bright white that danced across the brilliant night.
I keep on dreaming of chasing that setting sun before it fully bowed its head to let the moon take over its place.
I spent a many of nights crying and sobbing for it to come back to me so I can experience that one sun set just for once in my life again, even if it’s the last time I got to see any other sunset in my lifetime. But it never heard my pleas, and it ignored me as if it was giving me the cold shoulder.
Despite all my previous begging, I continue screaming out for it so hopefully it would acknowledge one day. But that day has never come, and I don’t know if it ever will. But I pray for it to happen every time the golden hour shone through my windows before transitioning to night.
I feel guilty for forcing the sunset to leave with only an empty void filling in its place. I miss the rich and luminous colors that painted the sky, I had taken for granted not too long ago now. I feel incomplete without it being apart of my schedule anymore. And it’s all my fault for letting this happen to myself.
I let the sun set before I could admire its beauty and soak in the final minutes before impending nighttime. And rising of the moon.

I love only being caught up with *checks my fandom list* only one of them bc I don’t have to suffer through watching/reading/playing anything tragic like the rest of the people on my time line and sob my eyes out. And I don’t have to get a grim reminder of the tragic event when someone makes a jokes about it.
#I love Epic the Musical sm#TECHNICALLY I’m caught up with Dungeon Meshi but it’s the anime and not the manga so I don’t count it#I am specific referring to the PJSK fandom when I write this post#All the spoilers I know is that Mizuki is trans and something bad happens#I do not have the mental capacity to handle whatever happened to that poor girl#I will live in peaceful ignorance until then

👋Hello
I am Ghada from Gaza. As the war intensified and completely tore our lives apart, my family and I had no choice but to flee to the southern part of the strip. We lost everything—our home, our belongings, and even our sense of security. We now find ourselves living in a school for displaced people in the south, struggling to survive in extremely unstable conditions. 💔
We are in desperate need of your help. Whether by sharing the link to our campaign or through donations, your support will make a profound difference in our lives. It will help us escape this tragic situation and start a new chapter of our lives. 🙏🏻
Every contribution, no matter how small, is a beacon of hope for us and brings us one step closer to a new beginning. Your kindness means the world to us. 🌹
Thank you for standing with us during this indescribably difficult time.❤️🙏

10 Non-Lethal Injuries to Add Pain to Your Writing
New Part: 10 Lethal Injury Ideas
If you need a simple way to make your characters feel pain, here are some ideas:
1. Sprained Ankle
A common injury that can severely limit mobility. This is useful because your characters will have to experience a mild struggle and adapt their plans to their new lack of mobiliy. Perfect to add tension to a chase scene.
2. Rib Contusion
A painful bruise on the ribs can make breathing difficult, helping you sneak in those ragged wheezes during a fight scene. Could also be used for something sport-related! It's impactful enough to leave a lingering pain but not enough to hinder their overall movement.
3. Concussions
This common brain injury can lead to confusion, dizziness, and mood swings, affecting a character’s judgment heavily. It can also cause mild amnesia.
I enjoy using concussions when you need another character to subtly take over the fight/scene, it's an easy way to switch POVs. You could also use it if you need a 'cute' recovery moment with A and B.
4. Fractured Finger
A broken finger can complicate tasks that require fine motor skills. This would be perfect for characters like artists, writers, etc. Or, a fighter who brushes it off as nothing till they try to throw a punch and are hit with pain.
5. Road Rash
Road rash is an abrasion caused by friction. Aka scraping skin. The raw, painful sting resulting from a fall can be a quick but effective way to add pain to your writing. Tip: it's great if you need a mild injury for a child.
6. Shoulder Dislocation
This injury can be excruciating and often leads to an inability to use one arm, forcing characters to confront their limitations while adding urgency to their situation. Good for torture scenes.
7. Deep Laceration
A deep laceration is a cut that requires stitches. As someone who got stitches as a kid, they really aren't that bad! A 2-3 inch wound (in length) provides just enough pain and blood to add that dramatic flair to your writing while not severely deterring your character.
This is also a great wound to look back on since it often scars. Note: the deeper and wider the cut the worse your character's condition. Don't give them a 5 inch deep gash and call that mild.
8. Burns
Whether from fire, chemicals, or hot surfaces, burns can cause intense suffering and lingering trauma. Like the previous injury, the lasting physical and emotional trauma of a burn is a great wound for characters to look back on.
If you want to explore writing burns, read here.
9. Pulled Muscle
This can create ongoing pain and restrict movement, offering a window to force your character to lean on another. Note: I personally use muscle related injuries when I want to focus more on the pain and sprains to focus on a lack of mobility.
10. Tendonitis
Inflammation of a tendon can cause chronic pain and limit a character's ability to perform tasks they usually take for granted. When exploring tendonitis make sure you research well as this can easily turn into a more severe injury.
This is a quick, brief list of ideas to provide writers inspiration. Since it is a shorter blog, I have not covered the injuries in detail. This is inspiration, not a thorough guide. Happy writing! :)
