For some ponies in Ponyville it's not common to see the royal guards patrolling the town. mainly cause they have their local law enforcement. However, some nights those who trot around might feel the ground shake and the stomping of feet coming around. They can be forgiven if they mistake a giant dragon possibly roaming around, but in reality you would encounter a t-rex in military grade armor patrolling the area. Turns out the Canterlot Ranger, Justin has a t-rex form and is using it for his ranger duties to protect Ponyville.

Criminals won't be causing any trouble at night if they see this giant black rex patrolling the town. Not if they want to get sent to jail or eaten.
