From conversations of the alters (I call them the Dressrosa Trio):
Luffy: I like the feeling of love. Love makes me stronger. I feel like I can roll mountains like wallpapers and scoop up a sea with my palm.
Doflamingo: As for me, I don't like these sensations. Love makes me weaker. I feel like my legs give way when I love someone.
Luffy: But you have a wife and kids. You love them, don't you?
Doflamingo: Yes. But I'm still not used to it. I feel vulnerable.
Luffy: So it makes you feel bad?
Doflamingo: No, it's not bad. It's something else. I don't know how to describe it yet.
Law: I think that love is a pain that makes you both weaker and stronger. The effect depends on circumstances.
Doflamingo: I think I agree with you.
Luffy: I don't agree with you! *sounds of a stubborn kid*

Every point fits my situation, and that's so f****** scary. But thanks. It always was and ever is significant to know.
💜 — the alter Sahesha.
No matter what, you never deserve abuse.
You never deserve abuse because you’re too needy or clingy
You never deserve abuse because you “let it happen” or “didn’t fight back” or “didn’t stand up for yourself”
You never deserve abuse because you “let it get this far” or you “stayed this long”
You never deserve abuse because your abuser is your mother or father, sister or brother, other family member, your boyfriend, girlfriend, fiancée, husband, or wife
You never deserve abuse because you have a particular mental or physical illness
You never deserve abuse because you’re “too emotional”
You never deserve abuse because you were “asking for it”
You never deserve abuse even though you’ve made mistakes, or said something wrong, or haven’t understood something, or can’t remember something
You never deserve abuse for being “too much” or “not good enough”
You never deserve abuse for having off days or being vulnerable sometimes
You never deserve abuse for asking for help
You never deserve abuse, no matter how many times and how many ways your abuser justifies it or makes excuses for it.

The alter Law joked without any emotion on his face that he regrets it wasn't a necropsy. He's the king of black humor, I guess.

I'm going to the doctor today. It's just a consultation, and we'll only decide what to do with my thyroid. Please wish me luck!

Our rules as a system:
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/b6596723fa267974dd253edff542e8cd/3e002bac75fe05ad-b8/s540x810/5eb288465e96189b79d19a01174c94233b90e021.jpg)
Don't do anything that can harm the system in common.
Especially when it comes to the littles.
It also contains the "no criminal activity" rule.
Don't fight with each other. Don't k*** each other. Don't r*** each other. In general, don't harm each other in any way.
Talk to each other when it's needed.
Tell if something is wrong.
Be careful, kind, and nice to each other as often as possible.
Monitor the mental & physical health.
That's it, I think.

My whole life has been spent trying to become a part of something. However, every time it turns out that I'm not suitable for life in society at all.
I'm in constant pain. And it hurts people. It has been going on for two decades. Sometimes it seems to me that a whole millennium has passed.
And I'm sorry I'm so uncomfortable for others.

Thanks a lot for these important words!
💜 — Sahesha.
As someone who's professionally diagnosed and done extensive research on DID:
- Littles (child alters) are common.
- Fictives (fictional introjects) are common.
- Non-human alters are common.
None of these things are a sign that someone is faking their DID, don't assume.

🔇 — Rocinante.
Say it with me...
You ready?
Introjects are real people.
Introjects are real headmates.
Introjects are real alters.
Introjects are their source if they say so.
Introjects are not their source if they say so.
Introjects ≠ faking.
Treat all systems and alters with respect, you forget that introjects are just as valid as other alters.
Kindly fuck off if you don't support systems with introjects.

Hi, it's an introject protector alter who played the role of a persecutor for a while, so my answer can be rude. I have three additional arguments that people might not have mentioned before.
Where I live, dissociative identity disorder is poorly studied, so we didn't know the OSDD, OSDD1a, OSDD1b terms until we joined Tumblr. And we're not the only ones like this. It happens because mental illnesses and disorders are taboo here. Therefore, we use the DID term because it's familiar and convenient for us. You should have thought that people can live in countries where it's trivially unsafe to show interest in such topics out loud, and that's why they might not know or be barely acquainted with the new scientific material.
Secondly, the alters can change over time. I remember myself as a rebellious teenager, tall, physically fit, with golden blond hair and cold blue eyes, one of which was initially blind for an unknown reason. At that time, I didn't even know my name, and other alters just called me by the letter D. It was a difficult time spent searching for my essence. After a while, we started watching anime, and I saw a character similar to me in nature and appearance. Since then, I've gradually transformed, remembering things that united me with this character. I've found an identity and the opportunity to study myself, understand my features, to set some barriers. It was valuable for developing myself as a human being, even if I'm just an alter. My roles also went through significant changes. C'est la vie. So there's nothing shameful about being an introject. Neurotypical people also assume those qualities that seem helpful or attractive to them. It happens on an ongoing basis, and that's normal.
And thirdly, fuck you. What's your business to poke your stupid nose into our affairs? Even if you're from a system, darling. We should study this topic by discussing and involving systems with different experiences, but people like you interfere with it, bringing in our safe space their useless hate.
With respect, the alter Doflamingo. :)
Omg I despise the fake disorder cringe trend. I'm not joking when I say I've seen neurotypicals [making or watching this kind of content] fake claiming systems for:
Having alters who are dating
Having introjects
Calling their child alters littles
Having fictives
Having alters who choose to dress different than the host while in the body
Like it's so clear these people aren't actually trying to educate people like they say they are, they're spreading more misinformation than the people they make fun of :|
