Kendall's beverage of choice is Kusmi Detox tea, a lemongrass-green tea which we happen to know and love, and which probably gets bonus points in Kardashianland for starting with a K. Kendall apparently loves it so much that she drinks "like, 12 cups a day."
As for the sustenance: "When she's not enjoying a cup of...tea, [Kendall] is snacking on apples. For Kendall, keeping up her energy is a must." But never fear— at the odd moments when crispy Granny Smiths and calorie-free tea don't provide an adequate boost, she relies on "fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins." So that's pretty standard—and well, kind of a relief.

Novelist Rebecca Harrington On Gwen P’s diet.
To “consciously uncouple” from surplus pounds, Paltrow is currently on a new year’s flax and dandelion detox diet to banish poisons.
Harrington was lucky to sample Paltrow’s “all good” gluten-free maintenance diet, heavy on veggies and juice smoothies.
Banned: coffee, alcohol, red meat, dairy, eggs, sugar, shellfish, potatoes, toma- toes, aubergine, wheat, and soy.
What’s left? Fish, kale, and a host of costly exotic vegetables.
“I have never paid this much for a week of groceries in my entire life,” says Harrington.
A typical day: Kale juice for breakfast; almonds for snacks, beet greens soup for lunch; and BBQ chicken for dinner. also: vegan sesame pancakes, salt-baked fish, and gluten-free tortillas.

Paris Hilton caused a stir when she walked into New York restaurant Nobu recently. When a waiter asked the heiress for her order, he was quietly told: "Mineral water." In fact, over the course of her two-hour "meal," Paris took sips of water and Red Bull - she didn't eat a single bite.

Today's stars are slim and toned, whittled to within an inch of their lives.
When pressed about their slimming secrets, celebrities often rave about their "good genes," their affection for junk food, or just declare that their secret to staying thin is running around after their children. But here's what you should know: A lot of them are lying.
Celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson, who has trained Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lopez and Penelope Cruz, says: "I had one actress training with me four times a week in addition to daily exercise-bike classes."
When asked how she'd "transformed" her body, her reply was, " 'Oh, I do yoga and hike with my dog,' " he said. "It makes me laugh," said Peterson. So the next time you see a pin-thin celebrity brag about her relaxed approach to eating, remember this:

Celeb Diet Secrets Part 2
5. Anne Hathaway: When it came time to film “Les Misérables,” Hathaway had to slim down to play the character Fantine, a destitute factory worker who turns to prostitution and eventually dies in the film. So, she lost weight by eating two twin squares of dried oatmeal paste a day and nothing else. And that’s how you win as Oscar, ladies.
6. Christina Aguilera: Aguilera reportedly got her body in prime form thanks to the “color diet,” which only allows followers eat foods of one specific color every day. For example, Monday would be white foods—so you could only eat things like cauliflower and white beans. Do colored M&Ms count?
7. Elizabeth Hurley: The British supermodel is 47 years old and still looks impeccable, so what’s her secret to staying slim? Whenever she wants to lose weight, she drinks at least six cups of watercress soup a day. Um, ew.
8. Snooki: These days, “Jersey Shore” star Snooki is trim as can be—but it took work to reach her goal weight. To get down to 100 pounds, she embraced the gimmicky “cookie diet”—which allows six 90-calorie cookies per day plus a tiny meal. No word on whether the “meal” consisted of straight vodka shots at a beachside bar.
9. Beyoncé: While cleanses are always popular, Beyoncé took it to another level. To lose 20 pounds in two weeks before filming “Dreamgirls,” Bey exclusively swigged a concoction of fresh lime or lemon juice, maple syrup, and cayenne pepper mixed with water 6 to 12 times a day, as well as an herbal laxative tea. Sounds healthy! To be fair, she’s since said she’d never do it again.

Celeb Secret Diet Tips
It's unsurprising that some of our favorite A-listers have some tricks up their sleeves for looking their very best. Some of their methods, however, are definitely on the quirky side.
1. Jessica Alba: The 31-year-old actress confessed to Net-A-Porter’s magazine The Edit that she had difficulty bouncing back, body-wise, after giving birth to her children Haven and Honor. “I wore a double corset day and night for three months. It was sweaty, but worth it.” she said. “It was brutal; it’s not for everyone.” Yeah, definitely not for us.
2. Gwyneth Paltrow: To lose weight before promoting “Iron Man 2,” Paltrow doubled up on sessions with trainer Tracy Anderson and stuck to a strict diet. Every morning, she drank a glass of kale juice after her workout, then had a low-carb Mountain Valley wrap for lunch, and then turkey kale soup for dinner. She also allowed herself a glass of kale juice and a few almonds in the afternoon. Talk about living on the edge.
3. Jennifer Aniston: The 44-year-old A-lister has a killer figure—but it didn’t happen overnight. Aside from working out daily, Aniston once went on a baby food diet after being advised to do so by trainer Tracy Anderson. Anderson explained: “Liquid cleanses do help you lose weight, but you will gain more the next week. I wanted something where you can eliminate toxicity and break bad habits but still have your digestive system going. That’s when the baby food cleanses was born. You get to eat all day these little puree things, and the chocolate pudding I did is pretty killer.” We’re sure it was killer, but it’s still food made for babies.

"SINCE THE EARLY 90’S WHEN THE CULT OF THIN WAS BORN, THE KATE MOSSES AND NAOMI CAMBELLS OF THIS WORLD, RULED AT THE TOP OF THE FOOD-PYRAMID OF CHIC. THE SEQUINS AND SHOULDER PADS OF THE 80’S WERE GONE AND IT WAS GRUNGE ALL THE WAY, AND JUST LIKE THE GARMENTS THEY WERE WEARING, MODELS BECAME SMALLER, LESS SUBSTANTIAL AND INCREASINGLY WAIF-LIKE. WHILE THE RIPPED JEANS, OVER-SIZED SHIRTS, ARMY-SURPLUS BOOTS AND JACKETS WERE HAVING THEIR MOMENT IN THE SUN, THEIR WEARERS MIRRORED THEIR STATE OF CARELESS DESPONDENCY. RAKISH YOUNG WOMEN STAGGERED ON THEIR NEW-FOAL-LEGS IN AND OUT OF THE TRENDIEST NIGHTCLUBS AND RESTAURANTS, WERE SEEN BRALESS WITH THEIR TINY NIPPLES HARD THROUGH SHEER FABRIC IN WINTER COLD, CIGARETTE IN ONE HAND, GLASS OF CHAMPAGNE IN THE OTHER, COKED UP TO THEIR EYEBALLS TO KEEP THEM FROM FEELING HUNGRY, TO KEEP THEM FROM WANTING. THEY MUST BE TINY, EMPTY, PURE, AND, MOST OF ALL, PERFECT; AND ALL THE REST OF THE WORLD COULD DO WAS TRY TO KEEP UP."

Strijd is very health conscious, even though she does not follow a specific food plan. She likes to prepare her own breakfast bowls and brunches and prefers to eat healthily. She tries to include vegetables, lean protein, and nuts in her diet. From her Instagram page and pap candids, she seems to always have a fresh salad and a green tea at hand.
The model stays away from processed foods and says, “I feel better when I eat healthy stuff.” Strijd loves to indulge in her favorite healthy food snack—banana bread.

This requires focus and physical, mental, and emotional willpower. You will experience short-term stress (particularly during your cycle if you’re a woman)—but this can end up being less stressful than living with the stress of excess weight.

What A Celebrity Nutritionist Eats In A Day
The Nutritionist: Elissa Goodman
Tumblr media
The Bio: Certified holistic nutritionist who created the cleanse program at vegan hotspot, Cafe Gratitude, the famed holy grail of healthy restaurants in Los Angeles, and macrobiotic M Cafe.
The Skinny: I start my day with a strong probiotic washed down with detoxifying lemon water on an empty stomach (I prefer Dr. Ohhira Professional Strength or Renew Life 100 Billion). In addition to the lemon water, my first drink of the day is my Detox Tonic ( a blend of Tonix Coconut Water Kefir, George's Always Active Aloe Vera, Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar, the juice of one lemon, and a dash of cayenne). I use this to boost my immune system and as a way to focus on gut health first thing in the morning.
While my daughter is getting ready for school, I'm making us matcha green tea lattes (I blend all of the following in my Vitamix: 4 ozs. almond milk, 4 ozs. coconut milk,1/2 tsp. organic matcha tea powder, 1 tbsp. of coconut oil, vanilla stevia, pure vanilla powder, and cinnamon). We both love this grassy blend. It's not only full of antioxidants, but it helps keep my energy and focus strong. The addition of the healthy fat (coconut oil) helps to keep me satiated until lunch.
To ensure that I'm getting my daily allotment of vitamins, minerals, phytochemicals, and antioxidants, I always have a green juice at some point in the day. My go-to blend is a basic recipe with romaine (great protein for a green!), celery, cucumber, lemon, ginger, and turmeric root.
If I don't have a lunch meeting, I usually make a salad—I start with a large scoop of probiotic sauerkraut and place it over mixed greens, and then I add any and all veggies in my fridge, drizzle with pumpkin, avocado or walnut oil, and Herbamare seasoning. I finish with a scoop of my favorite homemade vegan Faux Almond “Tuna” Salad.
In the mid-afternoons, I typically see clients out of my home office and I love to share a cup of adaptogen Tulsi Tea (holy basil) with them. I add a few drops of Omica Organics Stevia.
Family dinner is a must in my household and everyone knows my favorite is Millet Falafel with Avocado Relish & Roasted Asparagus Salad. This is my idea of a perfect plant-based meal—and one that my whole family loves! It feels great to get them on board with healthy eating and this is one dinner we all agree on!
Before bed, I have a large glass of lemon water with 400 to 600mg of magnesium. This combination ensures relaxing and restorative sleep while the lemon water helps my body detox while I sleep and ensures I wake up feeling refreshed!
