Many times I have been in a place where the roof is lifting of with people shouting their praise to God. People lift their hands and crying out to God for rescue. Many times I think we forget what we are all here on this earth for and what we have been called to do. In the past when I have been leading worship, without a doubt I would see people of all ages just pouring the heart out to the one who created them. The one who has been with them through thick and thin. The one who has saved them in desperate times of need. The who has healed their broken heart time and time again. And I think what we forget sometimes when we go into a place of praise & worship why & who we are worshiping. It says in Psalm 96:9: Worship the Lord in the splendor of His holiness; tremble before Him, all the earth. When you come to worship God it's a time where you can lay everything at his feet and just stand there in His presence and be filled to overflowing. God does not choose who He is got going to be overflowing today, He is already prepared to fill you and everyone else to overflowing every second of every day! All we have to do is lay all our cares, all our fears aside and seek Him for who He really is. Worshiping God is not something we have to earn from Him. The option to Worship God has already been given to us time and time again. Sometimes we may find that waking up an extra 30min in the morning to spend some time with God in is presence is to much time which we just  don't have. Well try just 10 or even 5 minutes earlier. Spend 5 minutes listening to a worship song and then for the next 5 minutes just stop and be still and ask God to fill you to overflowing. Ask God to heal you from any sickness or disease. Ask God for the salvation of your loved ones. Then thank Him, praise Him for all He has done and all he is going to do n your life today. God wants to bless you over and above and beyond your wildest dreams and it's a matter of fact that He does have the power to do it. So take that extra 5 minutes out of your morning just to spend it with God and in worship and you will see him start to flourish and start to bring bring favour throughout your life. For He foreordained us (destined us, planned in love for us) to be adopted (revealed) as His own children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the purpose of His will [because it pleased Him and was His kind intent. - Ephesians 1:5 AMP

The Blender Experiment
Well this is not like any post we have posted before but I thought I would share with everyone this new fruit juice blend I have discovered.... It's very simple and easy to make. All you need is: A blender, 2 Pears, 2 Bananas, Honey & a glass.
Pretty much all you do is blend it all together (except for the glass!) and then once blended pour into a glass (you can add ice if you want it cold) and enjoy!
See told you it was simple.

Leroy's Pedal Advise
I personally find pedals / effects units are devices that can either compliment (if used right) or criticize the sound of an amplifier / guitar. These essentials can be influenced by sources of power, conduction (leads etc.) and general setups.
Common brands such as Boss, Ibanez, Digitech, BBE, Jim Dunlop, Vox and Morley tend to serve as universal effects which tend to incorporate / cover all types of sounds e.g. Overdrives, modulation, compressors/EQ, delays/reverb etc. There are a few main sources these effects units come in such as analog pedals (single pedals), multi-effects pedals, rack unit, computer programs etc.
The more expensive units are usually means the more specific and versatile they are therefore increasing the quality and price tag! Major brands handmade and mass produced include Eventide, Empress, Fulltone, Keeley, Tc electronic, Strymon, Jam pedals, Rock box pedals
An awesome website located in the south region of Melbourne known as Deluxe guitars is a great store with an abundance of effects pedals specializing in all sound / effect categories. I honestly recommend you check it out……. http://www.deluxeguitars.com.au/index.asp
P.s For those who are honestly interested, feel free to contact me on [email protected] if you have any questions. I am happy to assist you to the best of my knowledge as long as you ask appropriate questions in regards to this post. I will eventually reply a.s.a.p and feel free to share this with friends, pals and buddies!
Hope you all got something out of this and don't forget to check out some other posts related to gear advice.

Leroy's Amp Advice
If I can help out anyone interested in purchasing a good amp here is my advice.
The amount you intend to spend on an amplifier can majorly influence the outcome of your purchase. For example tube amps are commonly more expensive compared to trans-tube, solid state, digital etc. based amplifiers.
Common brands such as Mesa boogie, Bad cat, Bogner, Divided by 13, Soldano, Dr. Z amplifiers (Tube amplifiers) are the most sought after amplifiers when it comes to professional amplifiers, more traditional styles such as Fender, Vox and Matchless amps are great as well.
To be honest I have had a Mesa Boogie Lonestar special which is great amplifier but………. Due to this mass produced merchandise. Constant repairs have been required, such as reverb units blowing out, fuses/tube dying, dodgy wiring occurrences leading to all these problems etc, etc. As a result of mass producing products companies tend to cut corners therefore reducing the quality of goods. Much patience and money is required if you decide to go this path.
I personally out of all the brands listed  have played/tested the majority of products and have found Dr. Z amps to be my most admired due to there versatility and appearances/weight.
When it comes to hand-made vs. mass produced goods in regards to musical instruments. I strongly believe that any seasoned musician will say that any hand constructed guitar, amp, pedal and even case has better after market features (insurance etc.), sound enhancements and usually will not collapse after purchase.
Reynolds Valve-art, construct probably from my opinion the best amps I have ever played. Although they weigh monstrous amounts, there versatility is incredible. Shawn and Pete the guys that make them are fantastic people who incorporate the best sounds of fenders, mesa/boogies, Voxs etc.  I recommend trying these amps out!

Leroy's Guitar Advice
I believe an instrument is pathway that allows any artist to demonstrate expressions, emotions and musical abilities. May I state that the tool (instrument) does not determine the skill of a performer, but that the skills of a performer are demonstrated through practice and much discipline, the instrument depending on quality, set-up etc. caters for the requirements of the musician when used.
My advice is don’t rely on the price tag / brand name of a instrument to demonstrate your ability’s / skills for you. If you approach your playing from this perspective, you and many others will be disheartened / let down. This will also be likely to result in the destruction of your passion for music.
I believe the purchase of the first dream guitar such as a Duesenberg or Fender whatever should be a result of much discipline and perseverance in your personal musical journey. I’d advice that any beginner starts with a cheaper guitar and as they begin on their musical journey, respect for greater accessories / tools will grow. I believe this approach will make any enthusiast a much more seasoned musician.
Now for the essentials any Gibson, Fender, Gretsch, Duesenberg, Music man (Ernie Ball), Suhr, Anderson guitar is usually a great way to advance to more professional practices. After owning a Duesenberg Starplayer Tv and Fender Tele replica I will state that they are both great guitars, they both serve in a variety of situations and …….. I love them! The brands stated above serve a variety of genres such as Jazz, country, blues, rock etc. Brands such as Ibanez, ESP, Hartung, Forge, Orsmly, Dean Guitars just to state a few, serve better for heavier musical scenes such as metal for instance.
Remember that any guitar can be used to serve any genre of music, as long as you the interpreter can appropriately fulfill the requirements of a specific genre with the element. It also calls for common sense in certain musical genres that you use the appropriate essentials, for example you don’t use a Gretsch Tennessee at a metal show if that makes sense...
Stay tuned as I will be posting another blog post on Amps very shortly...

Leroy Jellicoe's Gear List
Hi people interested in a bit of gear talk. In case I wasn’t clear with some of the stuff, here is my guitar gear list.
Guitars:
·      Duesenberg Starplayer TV – Ice pearl finish, nothing has been altered everything is original as bought.
·      Jellicaster (Fender Telecaster replica, with some slight variations) Honduran Mahogany body, bird’s eye maple neck/fingerboard (both with nitro finish), Dimarzio Area T-pickups (both neck and bridge), all hardware, pots etc. are U.S.A products, dual action truss rod, locking tuners so on so on if you get the message
·      Taylor Acoustic – a friends guitar, not sure of the model but its pretty cool!
Amps:
·      Peavey Studio pro 112 – Check info out on the net (heaps of insights on it etc.) pretty basic amplifier, serves the purpose its required for though!
Pedals:
·      Zvex Fuzz Factory: Pretty self explanatory, a fuzz pedal pretty much.
·      Boss Me-50: a multi effects unit, incorporating overdrives/distortions, compressors, reverbs, delays modulation you name it. Good pedal for the price, but only provides basic sounds.
·      Footswitch unit by Boss

Selah 101 #8
Came across this while studying the meaning of worship in hebrew....
Anah-to eye or to heed, pay attention, to respond, to begin to speak, to sing, shout, testify, announce, give, account, afflict Psalm 147:7 Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving; Sing praises on the harp to our God...

Christmas In A Nutshell...
Admit it, you've given some terrible gifts. No doubt you've also received some questionable gifts.
It's no surprise God is the ultimate gift giver. For Christmas however God gave something no one expected. It was the greatest gift he could give us, HIMSELF. The God who formed the heavens and the earth. The God who knew you before you were born, was now a little baby in a manger.
It may seem odd…. That God's rescue plan for a world in need was a baby. But God's answer to the world's problems has never been material things. instead of giving us more stuff that would eventually get swept under the carpet, He gave Himself.
God entered into the very situation He wants to heal. God gave us His Presence (not presents !). God showed up in our own neighbourhoods so that we would know who the eternal God is… and what He's really like.
God now had a face and a voice and walked among us. This is the Miracle of Christmas in a nutshell.
Si :)

The Selah What???
Most of you are properly wondering, "What is this Selah Project business everyone is talking about?" Well hold on cause your about to find out!
The meaning behind the word "SELAH" is something that is commonly mistaken, and yet while most people may just think it means Peace or Relax, it also means to PAUSE.
This is what The Selah Project is all about. Our main aim is to produce inspirational music that will inspire you and others to stop! and just "SELAH".
Each track we bring out is not just another track recorded, It's a track that is produced for everyone to be able to listen to go to a place of worship where they have never gone before. A place where they will receive new revelations. A place where they will seek God for who he really is.
Throughout the last month we have seen out fan base grow by the hundreds and we can't wait to bring out our first single and be able to bless everyone who listens to it.
Be sure to stay tuned to our Facebook & Twitter pages for all updates on what we are up to.
Thank you to everyone who is on board with what we are doing and we can't wait to bless you with our music.
