For anyone who follows my comic, The Cupid Test, I have a pretty significant announcement- the next update will be double the usual episode length, and it is going to be the final story update hosted on Webtoon.

I already announced this change was happening but it was Long Ago & i wouldnt be surprised if it was forgotten. This change will give me the opportunity to begin reworking the story art-wise (as well as sharpening some of the writing) to structure it in graphic novel/page turn format rather than the scroll. It's a format I love & I believe has infinitely more longevity. I want to treat The Cupid Test as a project that I can publish on paper at some point in the future & in order to do that I have to pull back for a bit on the "algorithm chasing, update priority" thing & focus on reworking the story as a whole entity rather than a chapter by chapter deal

I am considering doing one final character QnA hosted on Webtoon as a kind of last hurrah, letting that be the final "episode" people will see on that page. That depends but I'd be delighted to answer questions if they encourage people to read the new, improved version of the story.

As for the future of the comic, I will be making a blog on tumblr for posting pages in this new format as well as posting early pages on Patreon.

the whole point of a zine is that it's cheap to produce, amateur and homemade. if you're being asked to apply to participate in a print project, it is not a zine. if the final product is being printed and bound professionally, it is not a zine. if you are being asked to enter into any kind of licensing agreement more complex than "my work can be reproduced as part of this publication" it is not a zine. nine times put of ten if the final product costs more than $5 you have left zine country. im so serious about this.
