Sirius’ poem about Remus

In the twilight sky orange and blue,

a star fell in love, as stars often do.

But this star’s heart did not stray far,

For it was the moon that stole its heart.

The moon, so ignited and bright,

Was the star’s flame, its guiding light.

But how could a star travel so far,

To reach the moon up in the sky?

The star burned hot with passion’s fire,

And vowed to chase its heart’s desire.

So it shot across the heavens fast,

But sadly, the moon stayed out of grasp.

For as the star drew nearer still,

The moon remained beyond its skill.

Regulus describing James

Fic: 48 hours too long

If Regulus had a death wish, it would be to never forget James. By now, he already memorized everything he could see. He had a slight heterochromia that wasn’t noticeable from afar; his left eye had four freckles up, down, left, and right; it was hazel but surrounded with a black circle; his right one had two, so close that they formed a heart, he had circles of green and gold, and the iris root was half black and half light yellow. They were the most unique eyes; they suited their owner. He had small scars on one of his eyebrows, the corner of his lip, and his ear; beauty spots under his left eye, his cheek, and his right hand; his teeth were slightly crooked, making his smile more real, and his fangs were long and pointy; his frizzy hair was brown, but it had some honey highlights that complimented his skin tone beautifully; his faintly crooked humped nose that had 15 freckles on top; his asymmetrical mouth, that seemed to be permanently red and smooth; the shadow of his cheekbones and his sculpted jaw. But Regulus wasn’t stupid; James was bewitching and enchanting, and that wasn’t only physical. He also categorised his mannerisms and quirks. He was right-handed but used the left one to scratch his neck when he was nervous; he bit his lips and furrowed his eyebrows when he was focused; he tapped his feet when he was impatient, and when in a frenzy, which seemed to be his constant way of being, he blinked his eyes a lot and babbled gesturing wildly with his hands. It had only been 10 hours since he met him, and he was already absorbing everything he could about him. James, James, James. May he always reside in his soul.
