A headcanon that Nico likes to shadow travel behind Will.

I like the thought that Will is tall enough to cast a shadow big enough for Nico to shadow travel to. Not matter what area he is in.

So whenever you're in a room with Will Solace it is guaranteed Nico Di Angelo will be appearing behind out of nowhere.

Although Will scolds him, he admits that he likes Nico sneaking up behind him and suddenly wrapping his arms around him when doing so.

It's a pleasant surprise he's actually gotten used to quickly. Because he notices Nico always shadow travels behind him whenever overwhelemed or just plain tired of people.

Will is very much content and used to this, but the others aren't so chill about it. It freaks them out everytime they spot Nico glaring at them from behind Will knowing there wasn't ANY body there.

The seven: "Hey, Will? Where's Nico?"

Will: "Huh? Oh he's right here."

Nico with his arms around Will's waist popping his head to the side: "Hi."

i knowww that nico and will meet in blood of olympus but i just... they both fought in the battle of manhattan together, so it gets me thinking about like. they don't speak, but will sees nico ride into war with an army of the dead and three fucking gods on his tail, shaking the earth although its unclear if it's from the beat of the army's footsteps or his own sheer will. seeing nico decimate monster after monster, making a haze of glittery gold dust around him as he moves, making him look as ethereal as a god himself. effortlessly commanding his army, with nothing but a wave of his hand or the tilt of his jaw, hardly even batting an eye at the waves of power that responded to his every whim. the only thing will has ever seen of this boy was, maybe, a couple passing glances at camp half-blood-- only to meet him anew. an unfathomably powerful force.
