I finally found the pic of my Mom at Baby Beach in Aruba from a 1992 trip we took. I can remember clearly the day, how hot the sun was, how beautiful the water was, even how she giggled after that swim. Such a great memory.

This has truly been a rough day. My heart is broken and all I did was read about Prince, watch videos and listen to his music. I've probably seen Prince 15 times in my life. But I only got close to him once, in 2004, during his Musicology tour. I went both nights. I was a member of the NPG Fan Club, so I got floor seats both times, but you never knew where those seats would be until you got to the venue. Night one I had 13th row seats. Night two I got FRONT row seats. Yes I nearly lost my mind. At the end of the concert, when he's taking his bows, his drummer John Blackwell was giving out his drumsticks. He threw one to me, but some MAN jumped in front of me and grabbed it and ran off. I was screaming for another one, and I do mean screaming like a crazy person, I simply couldn't control myself. PRINCE himself walked over, got another drumstick and personally handed it to me. PERSONALLY. He made sure I got it in my hand and he smiled. I liked to have passed out. I don't know what happened after that. How I got home or anything else. I was planning my wedding.
