I have seen Soul Eater and I fucking love it so I'm very happy I got to draw a character from it 🙏🙏 I don't think I have a 'favorite' but Crona is definitely up there and they're very fun to draw so I opted for them this time!! And also I absolutely adore Vanitas no Carte so I will make a separate post for that in the near future for suuuure >:3

Who is your favorite character and why?

Mephisto Pheles my beloved 💞

There are a number of reasons why he is my favorite character, though the main reason why he's such a permanent favorite to me and why he's grown so close to my heart is the references and fact he's (to a certain extent) based on Mephistopheles from Goethe's Faust. Faust has been my favorite book for years and has played a huge role in why Mephisto is so precious to me!

Other than that he’s just so wonderfully unpredictable and complex. On the surface, he appears as this eccentric character with a love for chaos, and over-the-top personality but when you dig deeper, you realize there's so much more to him.

What I love most about Mephisto is the contrast between his comedic, carefree demeanor and the underlying darkness. He’s a demon, sure, but he’s not your typical villain. There's this layer of mystery to his actions which I find extremely enticing.

Plus, his sense of style and his ability to balance charm with menace is simply unmatched lol Mephisto’s not afraid to flaunt his power, but he does it in such an effortlessly charming way that it’s hard not to be drawn to him.

This is my first time actually drawing+writing this down so I'll keep it general lol.

I'd definitely opt for siding with True Cross!

Throw in some shady business in the mix because Mephisto is my favorite after all <3 (and I absolutely was not going to pass up on including him in the drawing somehow). I'd also add on that I'd probably work for the german branch (at least at first), considering I speak german fluently I feel it would be a fun incorporation!

For Meister I'd definitely pick Tamer, I absolutely adore the demons and I'd jump at the opportunity to interact with them (⁠人⁠*⁠´⁠∀⁠｀⁠)⁠｡⁠*ﾟ⁠+
