i made a mental connection so now i wanna see how correct it is
theory: at least on an individual basis, systems who grew up emotionally neglected may be more prone to having chronically ill alters in-sys because those thoughts of wishing they were sick/injured become internalized and establish themselves as the only way to get emotional needs met and paid attention to.
please rb/share for sample size! i really want to know if i'm onto something here or not---

This is a fascinating addition, but not what we were originally exploring! /lhinfo What we're attempting to explore, is if there's a correlation between emotional neglect, and *in-system* illness - for example, an alter developing hanahaki disease as a response to rejection (despite that not being the original mythos of hanahaki).
It's understandable how there was some confusion, though - Tumblr poll options don't allow for the longest or most in-detail options, after all ^-^

"average fronting time is 3 weeks" factoid actually just statistical error. average fronting time is 72 hours. Frontstuck Georg, who lives in cave and fronts for 210240 hours straight, is an outlier adn should not have been counted

Hello
Not to give them the attention they so desperately crave but I'd strongly suggest blocking the user @did-is-not-real , they seem to be making the rounds. If you don't know how to block a user from a sideblog you should be able to do it manually in your settings from a computer or you can message them like an x or something from the sideblog and then block them from there.
Also don't doomscroll through their account, it'll probably make you sad
