Tangled characters and their Hogwarts houses
Rapunzel: Hufflepuff/Gryffindor
This one I really struggled with and in the end I couldn't decide. Rapunzal shows unwavering loyalty not only towards people but what she thinks is right. She's patient to get what she wants and kind to almost everyone she meets (the snuggly duckling being a good example). However she's also extremely brave, not only with in the moment decisions such as healing a dying Eugene, but also in accepting where she went wrong - when she blames herself gor trapping them in the flooding cave. This one I was really stuck on.
Eugene: Gryffindor
This one was pretty easy for me to decide on (by comparison). Eugene shows a lot of nerve, particularly in his first conversation with Rapunzel, when he's in no position to bargin. He's also shows chivalry throughout the film, and displays bravery at the end when he sacrifices himself.
Mother Gothel: Slytherin
Mother Gothel shows determination and grit throughout the whole film. She knows what she wants and will stop at nothing to get it. She also shows cunning when she teams up with 'the ginger bros'. She has a plan and every detail is figured out. And she almost wins too...
Maximus: Ravenclaw
Pascal: Hufflepuff

I think Maximus is a really interesting character. One could argue Hufflepuff, as he shows loyalty, but lacks in the patience and kindness department. He always thinks through the decisions he has to make, such as not arresting Eugene, and has an organised and thought-out approach to solving problems. The film briefly mentions at the end that he greatly improves the law enforcement, and I think that spotting flaws and ways to improve is telling of a true Ravenclaw.
I initially thought Gryffindor for Pascal too, but then decided that the small glimpses of bravery that we see from Pascal is mainly out of loyalty. He is a true friend to Rapunzel and is by her side all the way through. He's also patient - although he may not seem it - when he's around Eugene and as he watches Rapunzel's and Eugene's relationship blossom.

Muggle born hufflepuffs
Ok but in one of the sorting hat songs, hufflepuff says they'll take the students they want and then all the rejects aswell. So you've got a load of ambitious and cunning muggleborns that didn't make it into slytherin but did make it into hufflepuff... Just imagine the chaos of this one sneaky hufflepuff surrounded by all these kind and patient ones...I love it.

Parvati and Padma caused as much chaos as Fred and George it was just never mentioned because it wasn't relevant to Harry's story

Doo doo doo doo doo. Another one down the hatch
Student: blows up a cauldron again. Severus, taking out a third flask: this is fine
McGonagall: Severus, you've been getting so much better at handling your anger!
Severus: Barely.
McGonagall: How have you been doing it?
Severus: I'm not a potions master and, of course, a brew master for no reason, Minerva.
-
Neville: *fucking MELTING a cauldron*
Severus: *takes out his trusty flask* another one down the hatch

Headcannon 1.0
Bro. Why shouldn't I tickle a sleeping dragon? I'll tell you why. Dragons are reptiles. What else is a reptile, I ask? A snake. And who do we know that likes snakes? Mr. Slytherin. It makes me happy to think that one day someone *cough* my man Godric *cough* decided it would be good to tickle him while he was napping and then once Sly had had his hissy fit about blood purity the others were like..but the motto...we need a motto. And Gryff was all like...hmm, I wonder and then him being the dramatic lil bitch he was (cause let's be real, he was) he was like let's spruce things up a bit. Make it cooler. Never tickle a sleeping dragon.

Why I relate to Hermione Granger
I feel like I can really relate to Hermione Granger. Like, not because she's clever and I get ok grades. And not because she's really quite awkward either. Because of the way people see us. In book 1, the way we view Hermione changes in just one chapter, because Harry and Ron get to know her. They see that she isn't that annoying little nerd that puts her hand up too much. They see she's brave, and loyal. And I get that. Until you sit next to me at school, you think I'm really clever and that's it - I get it all the time and it's just incorrect. We have a new seating plan and I start talking to someone and they're like - woah. You have a personality? You're not a robot? Wait, what's that? You're not actually as perfect as you seem? You have flaws? Apart from being annoying? You make mistakes in your work! And although it takes them a few months to admit that they thought I was the teachers pet and nothing more, they do. And that's why I can relate to her. Not because of our personality - because really, we're nothing alike. Because of our experiences.
