So I’m factkin with Himaruya Hidekaz, creator of Hetalia! Hello!

First of all, I wanna apologize for creating this hell show/manga

So I’m Himaruya, you can call me Hima for short.It’s also really cool when people call me Himapapa, just putting it out there. Any variant of the fandoms nicknames for me is totally fine!~

I’m new to all this, and despite not knowing what he looks like, I’m totally ok with that.Becuase I’m Hima, and I look like myself. So in a funny way, I already know what he looks like! Case closed, everybody. Go home hahaha.

 But yeah, I’ve been having some serious thoughts and emotions about all of this, but just like coming off of hiatus, it’s time to stop living in the dark. I am Himaruya. I love all my fans so much, and this fandom, while known as a big ol’ sin, is something that fills me with utter joy and happiness. I remember when I started Hetalia, I never imaged it would be this big. It seems so insane, but here I am. I hope you can all accept me, and remember to make pasta, not war!~

And yes I ship Gerita, it will be canon in due time, my children.

to all the people saying the Hetalia fandom is dead/dying

Himaruya is still drawing new strips twice a week. Like, the series has not ended. Also it is being published by fucking Shonen Jump.

And there’s still tons of new merch being made, including fucking bjd’s and nendoroids, which are god damn expensive, yet are still selling in bulk. Not to mention the upcoming event at the niconico cafe.

Like I get that many of the people who only watched the anime are leaving, sure, but that’s just in the west. In Japan the fandom is still alive and pretty active for a series that’s 10+ years old. And since Hetalia lacks a linear plot and the characters don’t age it’s very easy to keep making new material and stories indefinitely.

TLDR; don’t trust this hellsite and honestly hetalia is eternal

People always talk about the nazi’s, the weeaboos, the ship wars, the cringe. But every fandom has that, not just mine.

This is why Hetalia is beautiful, I love you all <3

I often find it too incredible to believe that one man has managed to make people around the world feel proud of their heritage, admire more about the aspect of culture, language and custom. Not to mention becoming fond of traveling! It’s one beautiful thing that we should all cherish.
